About us

Best Plumbing Tile & Stone first opened its doors on February 19, 1960. Founders Mel and Adele Weiner saw the plumbing supply business from a unique merchandising viewpoint. They wanted to present bath and kitchen products direct to the end user. In addition to traditional supplies, they gave their customer the opportunity to see the products in a showroom; a concept that was unheard of in the industry. Mel and Adele's oldest son, Jonas, joined the business in 1972, followed by his youngest brother Jess in 1979. Together, the Weiner family grew the showroom business, opening their first auxiliary showroom in 1981. Today Best Plumbing Tile & Stone has grown to four showroom locations in Westchester and Fairfield counties, serving many of the surrounding areas. Little has changed since 1960. Best has evolved and become more sophisticated, but the fundamentals have not changed. It's still a 'people' business. Best has developed an outstanding team of over 100 professionals, including a sales force that has been with the company on average over 10 years. Best Plumbing Tile & Stone transcended three generations when Mel and Adele's eldest granddaughter, Kymberly, joined the business in 2006, followed by their grandson Michael in 2011. After more than 55 years, guests are still treated with the same level of high-touch service excellence. The Weiner family's strong vision, innovation and passion for the customer make Best the best choice for your bathroom, kitchen, or tile project.

THEY WERE HELPFUL AND COOPERATIVE. THEY HELPED ME IN PICKING THE TILE. THEY WERE ALSO HELPFUL AND COOPERATIVE IN SHIPPING THE TILE TO WHERE THE MAN LIVED THAT ACTUALLY INSTALLED IT.
Description of Work: THEY TILED PART OF A BATHROOM. IT WAS A STALL SHOWER AND WALL.
