He worked slowly and steady apologized for taking so long. My refrigerator stopped working he showed me that the compressor was fine. it was the fan needed to be cleaned. Their price was fair and they told me toward the end what the cost would be. I would definitely recommend them and if I need another appliance fixed I would surely call Them refrigerator stopped"

ADDITIONAL BUSINESS NAME: H. D. MOREHOUSE & SON
"We purchased $10,831.79 worth of Maytag appliances (for two homes) from Morehouse. Our $2,700 refrigerator leaked all over our new home's hardwood floor warping and cupping the boards in front of it which will require replacement of the floor. After several attempts by the Morehouse tech to repair the leak, Morehouse said they couldn't help us by replacing the refrigerator and told us to contact Whirlpool who makes Maytag. Instead of replacing the refrigerator, they basically threw us under the bus and told us to deal with Whirlpool. Whirlpool did replace the refrigerator, however, it was replaced with a box store model - not the same quality we purchased from Morehouse. Furthermore, Whirlpool uses a trucking company to deliver appliances and the delivery men who we had were not trained in appliance installation. They left without being able to hook up the in-door water/ice; level the doors; or place the wheel brakes allowing the refrigerator to slide freely. We have since had two service calls and as of this writing, the ice maker still does not work. We intentionally went to an appliance store and not a box store in order to purchase higher quality merchandise and not box store quality. With the amount we spent at Morehouse, one would expect them to stand behind their customers if a product they sold us was faulty. This, sadly, did not happen. Please be aware of 'after they make the sale' and have your money, they will not stand behind their products. BEWARE of Morehouse Appliances!!!"

"Excellent! We had a pipe break after a winter storm and remodeled our house long distance from Florida. We were driving up to see the to see the near completed work and stay at our house. We needed our toilet installed, vanity installed and shower drain and nozzle hooked up. Jeff from JTECH arrived at the house at the appointment time and called us to let him in so he could do the work. We asked Jeff to please go right in , find the toilet, vanity and shower drain parts and to please install as we were on our way. Everything was installed perfectly. We also used JTECH to install our wall mounted microwave, dishwasher, bathroom light and storm door. All to our satisfaction. We would definitely hire Jeff from JTECH again!"

I am basically a one man operation since 1985. I repair and service major household appliances.
"Great service! They were very honest about what could be done with the dryer and quoted the price for two options, which were reasonable. I am completely happy with their service and would definitely recommend them 100%."

"I ordered a part and ended up not using it as that was not the problem with the washer. They have a return policy, which I followed, only to be told I could not have a refund because the part appeared to have been attempted to be installed. This is not the case. In fact, the part was never removed from the box. They either sent me a used part or use this excuse to keep the consumer's money. Either way, it's a scam, they now have my $100 and the part."

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.
"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

If your refrigerator needs to be repaired, contact an appliance repair company to diagnose the issue and repair your refrigerator. It’s okay to leave it plugged in and running, but unplug it if it makes unusual noises.
Signs that your refrigerator may need repairs include:
Food items are not being held at the correct temperature (between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit)
The fridge is using too much energy and seems to run all the time
Loud and/or unusual noises
Possible causes include:
A damaged door
Faulty condenser coil
Malfunctioning control board
Contacting an appliance repair professional as soon as possible can help save items in your fridge from spoiling. Common fridge repairs include the compressor, control board, thermostat, defrost motor, coils, and ice maker.
If you’re having problems with your dryer, contact an appliance repair professional as soon as possible to inspect and repair it. Having a faulty dryer can be a major inconvenience in the home.
Your dryer may need repairs if:
It isn’t turning on
It’s not releasing enough heat
The drum doesn’t spin
Common repairs include:
A damaged or worn-out belt or
Damaged or shorted electrical wiring
A control board malfunction
Dryers tend to overheat or become short-circuited over time, especially after heavy use. Other common dryer repairs include door switches, timers, and control boards.
If the unit is not under warranty, then you may want to call a reliable appliance repair technician to diagnose the issue and recommend a repair. Some of the most common washing machine issues are inadequate water supply to the unit, poor drainage due to clogging, leaks, and excessive vibration while washing. Like ovens, the cost to repair a washing machine will vary widely depending on which issue you’re experiencing.
The average cost to repair an appliance depends on the appliance, make, model, the part that needs repair, and how long it takes to replace or repair a part. The following are the average repair costs for the most common appliances:
Refrigerator: $200–$300
Freezer: $90–$500
Oven, cooktop, range: $100–$500
Microwave: $50–$400
Dishwasher: $160–$300
Garbage disposal: $70–$250
Washing machine: $50–$450
Dryer: $100–$400
Appliance repair contractors may charge $40 to $120 per hour for labor, and most also provide the replacement parts necessary at an additional cost. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays and emergency fees may apply if you need your appliance fixed immediately.
It's good to contact the manufacturer first to see if any warranties still exist, and if they have any specific repair persons they recommend. Some specialty units or smart units may require the assistance of a manufacturer-approved technician. Oven issues can be more challenging to diagnose than other appliances in the home because many of the parts are difficult to access for inspection or replacement. Some common oven repairs involve replacing damaged burners, heating coils, or electric cables. Purchasing additional parts, such as a new heating coil may also increase the total repair cost.
