I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, only to be told an hour before that he wasn’t able to come. I agreed to reschedule, but then—out of nowhere—he texted just five minutes before our original appointment and showed up without confirm with us that the time still worked, despite having already canceled. It was inconvenient and unprofessional, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and moved forward with scheduling the actual stump removal. On the day of the job, at the exact time they were scheduled to arrive, I got a last-minute text saying they couldn’t come due to rain. Weather is something that can be checked ahead of time—this should have been communicated the day before, not at the moment they were supposed to start. Because of their lack of professionalism, I had to reschedule other contractors who were lined up to follow their work, creating a domino effect of delays. After reading reviews, it turns out this is a common issue with this company. If reliability matters to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere—showing up is step one in being a professional contractor, and unfortunately, they don’t seem to have that down.

My wife and I called J and J Tree Works to remove a MASSIVE eighty feet high Norway Spruce tree from our yard. We live in the village so we thought that it would be very difficult to remove between houses.....well it might have been difficult for any other tree removal service, but not for J and J! They came with a very professional crew and had the tree taken down and removed safely in only TWO hours! Those guys are incredible! We will certainly be using them in the future on other properties that we have! We highly recommend J and J Tree Works! When you use them you will not be disappointed!

Excellent. Was there on time and was professional and quick. Was careful since the trees were very close to the house and were overhanging it in areas. I would call then again if and when I need tree work. No with the job at all. Cleaned up the yard better than when they got there
