I was very happy with David’s work. There are other mold inspectors who offer cheaper options, but you pay for high quality inspection with David. This is the sort of stuff that you don’t want to cut corners with. From the get-go, I felt assured of David’s understanding and expertise in the area of mold. I was pleased with his gameplan that was tailored to my home. It was thoughtful and deliberate; nothing seemed cookie cutter. After the actual inspection, he provided a huge amount of detail and rigor to the lab reports and analysis to help us understand the reality of the situation. He spent ample time walking us through the report and explaining to us best next steps. Additionally, he also provides a detailed gameplan and evaluation criteria for prospective remediators to ensure that they do a good job not only remediating, but also cleaning the toxins. He also brought empathy to his work given his own personal history with mold. I can tell he really cares about his work. He was personable and warm and was very considerate of us. The area of mold inspection and mold remediation seems like a bit of a Wild West, and finding somebody reliable can be challenging. First Stop Environmental Owner Mr Silver was called by my Landlord and the job had been completed by another company with an excellent reputation. Mr. Silver acted violently in the presence of the Police, leaving an INVOICE of $800. $ 800 and no service WoW I (Tenant) hired another expert for air quality and swab for $310. Just very careful with First Stop Environmental Owner Mr Silver !!!

I must first state that I did research on how a home must be investigated correctly for moisture/water damage/ and potential mold. David Silver was spot on in terms of how he approaches the home investigation. He first looks at areas of where water could be coming into the home and then meticulously checks every area where water/moisture could be an issue inside the home. What is important here is that he uses multiple ways to investigate and test so nothing is missed. His report is thorough and detailed so if a remediation is needed the company can follow his recommendations. But most of all, David is sensitive to the fact that this can be a very stressful experience and projects this by his calm, professional, and supportive manner. I am grateful that I was given this recommendation and highly recommended First Stop Environmental.

If you are looking for a true expert and absolute perfection in anything having to do with mold, look no further than David Silver. This man is like a walking encyclopedia on the topic. He can tell you about every single type of mold inside and out and answer any questions you may have in the most thorough detail. We hired David to do a mold inspection on the house that we have been renting since March. Since we moved in, my 1.5 year old son and 3.5 year old daughter. And my husband and I kept getting sick and no one was getting better. Both kids had high fevers, respiratory issues, sinus issues, were sleepy, diarrhea, etc. Both were at the doctor several times, both were in the emergency room, both were on antibiotics, but no one was getting better. As a mother I knew something more was going on. I started asking around and some people suggested mold. Of course my husband thought I was crazy. But something had to be done. I posted the job and David Silver got in touch with me Right away and I believe he did the inspection that week. Within a day or two he sent me a full detailed report with pictures, and also went over it with my husband and I. ( I already knew I was right- mothers intuition) - there was in fact more mold inside the house than outside !!! Big problem!! We hired a remediation company and had to stay in a hotel for about 9 days. David came ASAP to do the clearance. He overnighted the results so we could get back to living our lives as soon as possible. But, sadly David found more mold. If there is mold in your house, David Silver WILL find it. So the remediation team came in again, and next week at 9 am David will be here to do another clearance. I’m sure he will be here before 9 because he is more than punctual! I’m so glad that I was lucky enough to meet David because not only is he an absolute expert at what he does, but he is an all around wonderful person!!!
