 + -1 moreI now have great wood delivered by a local couple. Makes all the difference.
Description of Work: Delivered and stacked wood. I paid for 3 full cords of wood bu got about 1 1/2 cords delivered. Even the guys who delivered it said I had been badly cheated. I called the owner and he said he had sent someone out to measure the stack and it was accurate....it was not nearly 3 cords. Very verly expensive wood even if it had been 3 cords but at half the load....ridiculous.

 + -1 moreI searched on line for firewood services. I emailed this company asking for a price on a facecord of seasoned wood. They were prompt with both a return email a phone call and next day delivery. I received a half fireplace cord or wet moldy wood. I was not home when the wood was delivered or I would have commented right then. As stated the wood delivered fit into a circular wood holder. That was all there was. The wood sizzles and oozes water when I try to get a fire going. It is horrible firewood and I will never use this group again.
Description of Work: This was the smallest delivery of wood ever. It fit in one circular wood holder. The wood was wet, and moldy - useless to burn. Total misrepresentation of what would be delivered. I caution anyone using them to deliver firewood.

 + -1 moreAfter we realized that we were getting half of the wood that they quoted, we left.
Description of Work: We called and they gave us a price for a Chevrolet Colorado truckload (approx. a face cord), which was a good price ($75.00). When we got there, the guy took us way, way back in the woods on the property and showed us a stacked pile of wood. It amounted to about 1/2 of a truckload/face cord and said here's your $75.00 worth of wood. Bait and switch, beware. We did not purchase the wood.

 + -1 moreTHEIR PRICE WAS THE BEST THAT I COULD FIND. THEY DID DELIVER AT THE TIME THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE WOMAN I SPOKE WITH WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL.
Description of Work: THEY DELIVERED WOOD FOR A WOOD STOVE. THEY CAME TWICE.
