Description of Work: We had a "minor" mold issue in our large attic and wanted to deal with it before a new roof was installed. Mike was very clear with his description and explanation of the services. I did a lot of research on causes, treatments, and what the results should be. I was provided with a treatment plan and then looked up info on the two substances that were to be used in the attic. Mike came on time, worked cleanly, emailed me before and after photos, and followed up with me to see what I thought. Total cost was $1,100. High? I don't know but it's done and I have proof of treatment for the next homeowner.

Description of Work: Mike treated black mold in our attic space. The mold was most evident in a house addition attic and a bit near a bathroom exhaust fan. Let me start by saying that he is a man that stays with a job. Mike came back numerous times to work to kill the mold and clear the staining. His followup was the best I'd ever seen. He would call to make sure the job was satisfactory and returned when needed without ANY questions. Black mold is a persistent mold, is only a problem when it gets wet and is left to grow. All that said I was very satisfied with his service, his willingness to come back for further treatments AND never did he try to oversell me on additional work. Anyone with a similar issue should call him for pricing, his use of enzyme based treatment and the process of also trying to rid the roofing material (plywood) of the discoloration.

Description of Work: We initially contacted Mike in October of 2013, as our home of 28 years was in need of a reshingle job. We had a moisture problem in the attic because of two bathroom exhaust fans that were directly vented into the attic with no direct exhausting thorugh the roof. The vents were merely directed to the roof vent cap. Over the years a moisture problem caused a mold condition to exist and we were told that this would become a major problem if we ever wanted to sell. Also the home was roofed without using felt paper, but only on the eave and along the ridge line area. The contractor had cut corners to save pennies. There were some minor leakages at several points in the roof that also introduced moisture to the attic. Mike was prompt in scheduling an appointment to evaluate and give an estimate. He said we had a mold problem that needed to be addressed. He explained very expertly the process of the enzyme introduction to alleviate the mold condition. We put off the treatment until June of 2014, just prior to the roof actually being reshingled. When I called Mike this spring, He arrived promptly within a week of my call to make an appointment. The attic was treated with enzymes by introducing them with a fogger that flooded the attic with a fine mist of these bio-enzymes that destroy the living mold organism. Before leaving Mike assured me that he would be back to check on the condition of the mold in a week to ten days. He actually came back twice in a period of about a month to reinspect. He told me he wanted to come back again after the roof had been repaired and the bathroom vents were properly exhausted through the roof and some of the plywood had been replaced that had heavy mold because of leakage, and the ridge had been widened to allow better air circulation out the ridge vent system. I contacted Mike when the roof repairs had been made and true to his word, he came back with his fogger and redid the attic area just to make sure that all of the mold had been completely killed off. He did this on July 30, 2014.

He sprayed a solution in each room - which took maybe 10 minutes for a roughly 700 sq. area. A few days later he checked the area and then collect samples for testing. I had the results by the end of the week and all was well. He was extremely responsive, informative and even after the visit continued to follow up to ensure I had no further issues.

Not only was he on time and professional, he was totally accommodating to my schedule. Mike is an intelligent person, knows his business, knows about the science of enzyme cleaning of mold, and is extremely reliable. Many mold companies scare you to death and seem quite sleazy. Mike Partlow is anything but that. He has great credibility and consistently proves that he deserves your confidence.

Description of Work: I had a very old roof replaced on this rental property in November 2012. The attic was wet when the roof was replaced and the roofer failed to put in sufficient vents. I was laid up untill february 2013 and had not looked at the attic for 3 months. When I returned to the attic in Feb. the whole attic was covered with wet drippy mold from the ceiling to the floor. I contacted some standard mold removers and the estimates were from $2500 to $3500 to remove the mold. I called Mike from XSor Life Sciences and explained the problem. Mike explained the work he would do in great detail. I must admit that I had my doubts about these magic enzymes that he said would eat all my mold and be 40 to 60 % cheaper than other contractors. Prior to his arrival I dehumidified and dryed out the attic. Now I had an attic full of dry mold. Mike came in April 2013 and applied in a mist form the Enzymes.

Description of Work: My basement was treated by the XSpor Life Sciences technician for mold, using a method that uses a kind of fogging to treat the area with their proprietary formula of enzymes. The treatment took about 45 minutes and I was advised to keep the basement closed and not to enter for at least 24 hours to give the treatment time to penetrate the materials and do its thing. The best part of this method was that I didn't have to move or break apart anything, since the treatment is absorbed into and through sheetrock, carpeting, panelling, etc. and eliminates any mold that may be present.

Description of Work: We had mold growing in our cellar from a recent water leak that went un-detecet. Xspor treated the area and the mold and odor were gone, we were glad to not have the toxic spores in our home anymore, the area looked and smelled like new and we didn't have to avoid going down cellar any more, They provides quick and prompt service and the price was under the original estimate. I would use them again anytime.
