APPLE POOLS INC

We contracted Apple Pool to install a 17x 33 pool.  We were building a house and they worked with us on our schedule.  When we were ready to go, we contacted Gary and they we here promptly to install the pool.  They did an excellent job; the crew was professional and answered all the questions we had.

The first sizing of the hot tub cover was over three months ago. When they came to the house to measure for the proper size hot tub cover, we were told it would take about 3 weeks and they would call us when it came in and we would leave the gate open for them to come and install (place) the new cover on. After 4 weeks and no call we contacted the store. They said it had come in and they would come over to install it in the next day or two. We left our gate open everyday for a week, no new hot tub cover, and no telephone call  explaining the delay.We called the store and the cover was in but they hadn't had time to deliver it. My husband went to the store, paid in full and took the cover home. IT WAS NO WHERE CLOSE TO FITTING!We called the store and were told they would  come out the following day, remove the new cover and remeasure and reorder the cover and it would be in in 3 weeks approximately.They took a week and a half (of us leaving the gate open daily to a pool and hot tub area!), still no call. I called the store and was told in a very condenscending tone that it had been measured the day before. I asked why we weren't informed so we could lock the gate for safety reasons, no apology, no excuse, but that it would be ordered that day.Four weeks later we again had to call the store and ask if the cover was in, and it was. When was it going to be delivered.... it was delivered luckily when my husband was home, because the gate wasnot unlocked. The serviceman said "yeah, I guess we screwed up".Totally unprofessional experience.Will never work with the company again. I would fill in my pool and give the hot tub away if they were our last resort.

Overall it was a nightmare.  It took a year and a half to complete the pool installation and the cement bottom had to be redone three times.  Every aspect of the install, service and equipment was substandard and we eventually had to hire the Consumer Protection Agency and an attorney.  We also had to contract with another pool company to correct the pool bottom and fix the massive problems.  The final cost of the pool and repairs was MUCH, MUCH more than the original cost of the pool.  We continue to have issues to this day.

The corner of the pool and deck began to sink within a year. My wife and I had to call numerous times and send return receipt letters to get a response from the owner, Gary. Finally someone was sent and did a totally inadequate job, ruining the cement work around the deck. Gary did not respond.....I considered bringing him to court and probably should have. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
