Another local company dismantled my furnace on annual checkup and caused damage. They covered it up by telling me there was a crack and water was leaking. They quoted $950 with the goal all along to replace an 8 year-old furnace. I made an appt w A-1; they saw the damage right away - and figured how to make the repair. You see the part is no longer available, but there was an alternate way to fix the damage. Highly recommend. A-1.

My furnace went out in the middle of the night. I called Will he was over in less than half hour. He looked at furnace knew exactly what to do and had the furnace in asap. His price was extremely fair. He and his assistant are very personably. You can’t go wrong he’s terrific

I was delighted with the help given to us at our home by William Nichols and his small, efficient crew at A-1 Heating and Cooling Enterprises. He is both very knowledgeable and a clear communicator--a most helpful combination for someone like me who knows so little about this technology. Mr. Nichols researched what we needed at our home--a replacement for a failing central AC system and a new portable AC unit for the upstairs. He offered information and choices about equipment within our financial means that would work for us. Thus we knew costs for equipment and service as fully as possible ahead of time. He and his crew came on schedule, with their tools and our new system and new portable unit--prepared to dismantle the old system and install the new one. By the time his crew left our home that day, the new equipment was working fine; all paperwork was signed; our bill was settled. We were encouraged to reach Mr. Nichols with any follow-up questions or concerns. He offers 24-hour emergency service. And when he discovered dangerous black mold in the old system--hidden and worsening for years because of an error made long ago by the original installer--Mr. Nichols removed the cause of the trouble and also referred us to an excellent system cleaning service for our home--with whom we're already following up. I do recommend Mr. Nichols and A-1 Heating & Cooling Enterprises to anyone investigating an improvement--sudden or planned--for a home. We're relieved here at our home--and we're cool.

Will, the owner, was very responsive to my requests and Gary did an excellent job on the install and they both answered all my questions. Great people to work with and I would definitely hire them again in the future.

Will was kind enough to get a new furnace installed quickly before my elderly mother was to visit. It is warm and toasty, and she is a happy camper. Gary did a very thorough job and was pleasant to deal with. Overall, a positive experience. I took off one star for value because spending nearly 5K is rarely a good value. But I don't think Will overcharged us, it's just a big chunk of change!

They inspected my furnace and said it was clean and did not need service, NO CHARGE

A1 arrived right on time, checked my furnace said it didn't need cleaning so NO CHARGE.

The A-1 Heating and Cooling company was hired to do a Boiler Tune-up. Both brothers were very helpful in providing information about the service, set a date and time right away. Brother Nick came on time and ready to perform the service. He was thorough and knowledgeable about the process, as he worked he explained what he was doing and answer all my questions. Explained that the boiler was in good running shape for it's age. It's so nice to meet professionals that do a good job and are courteous. This company was hired to install a new furnace and A/C at my in-laws house who are elderly . They completed the work promptly and made my in-laws feel at ease throughout the process. I would definitely hire them again .

Will Nichols, the owner, attempted the fix my 24-year-old air conditioning unit before telling me I needed a new one. Took most of the day to replace it since I have a boiler and not a furnace, so the air conditioning is an entirely separate unit. I was completely satisfied with the experience and will use A1 for routine maintenance.

I was contacted within the hour. An appointment was set for the next day (today). A technician called on the away and arrived on time. My furnace was cleaned and my questions answered. The tech was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I feel confident that this company can competently handle any issues with my furnaces. I have already set up an appointment for a furnace cleaning in a rental property in the fall. This company is small and old school, they seem to value their customers.....and they now have a new one!

They contacted me right away. Will was very honest and nice. Very personable and willing to work with you. He tried to help me with problem on phone Incase it was something I could fix so he wouldn t have to come on an emergency call on a Sunday. I would highly recommend this company. They had to come back 2 days later to finish the job and everything went great. They are amazing workers.
