This company will gladly take your money but will not stand behind any warranty. It took one and a half years get them to come out and that was only after i got the town of tonawanda building inspector involved. When they replaced my roof sheeting they used a different thickness of sheeting in one area that faces the street. Needless to say it is very obvious and looks like h***. They only replaced some shingles when they finally came out but the joke is they replaced my grey shingles with dark blue. Apparently collin and the guy who replaced them are both color blind. Im not kidding, when i called them on it thats what they said. By this time i was sick of the run around so i am writing this to warn other people. They are no longer a recommended roofing contractor in the town of tonawanda due to what the building inspector witnessed. Also if you have a complaint, and your calling them back because they never responded to your first or second call they screen their calls. Good luck

Tuscarora replaced 6 windows in my house. They were responsive, installed within the time-frame I was hoping for, the price was good, they did not leave a mess, and I would definitely contact them for any future window needs.

I called and got them to come give an estimate right away. I liked what they told me. They were detailed in their description of work they would do to place my roof. So I signed a contract. That was over a year ago. After that things got horrible. My roof was leaking so I needed them to come fix it in a timely manner. They kept saying next week, next week every time I called to ask when they would be coming. This went on until they stopped taking my phone calls and I received a letter stating they were done for the season but I would be first on the list for next year (2017). I wasn't happy since I had counted on them to fix the leaking roof before winter. But by then it was too late to hire anyone else. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until Spring and starting calling again. They said I was on the list. Then the whole process started again. I called they said next week they would be there and it went on and on. They stopped taking my calls or calling me back when I left a message. I gave up and got estimates from other roofers. It still took months to finally get someone to actually come and do the work. Thirteen months after starting the process. I'm glad to have the roof done and not have to deal with roofing companies anymore. Tuscarora may do fine work but I will never know....they never showed up.

I hired Tuscarora Roofing to install a new roof on my Daughters house along with a bathroom vent. Tuscarora never entered the house to see where the bathroom actually was. The vent was installed improperly. The fan actually sits higher than the vent on the roof. I have a contractor now doing a remodel of the bathroom, and he said that the vent was placed improperly. The vent should have been installed higher on the roof. The vent being lower will cause condensation to collect in the vent duct and will mold in the summer and freeze in the winter. I wanted the vent installed because the bathroom never had a vent before and I knew that we would be remodeling the bathroom and adding a vent fan. The roof vent is useless where it is located, it was not placed in the proper location. The installer never came in to look at the ceiling of the bathroom. This is a Cape Code style house with a sloped ceiling. I called Tuscarora and spoke with Collin, a supervisor, now they want to charge me about $200 to move the vent, when it wasn't placed proper location in the first place. I have had to complain to the BBB. I would advise anyone to NEVER hire this company for any work! If they do improper work they will not stand behind their mistakes and make it right!

It went great! They had a large crew and would have had our large roof done in one day if it wasn't for very high winds! The workers were great. They cleaned up after themselves. We were very happy! And the price was very reasonable: not the highest or lowest but they definitely give you a good product for a good price!

The provider did a complete tear off and replacement roofing job for my parents 110+ Year old farmhouse. The original roof was in pretty poor condition and the end result looked great. The estimator made sure to stay in contact until completion of the job with any questions/concerns that we had. This company was very easy to contact and a pleasure to work with. The crew showed up on time with a full staff, approx. 10+ workers and were finished much faster than we expected! They did great on clean up afterwards, not one piece of garbage left behind. Definitely would work with again.

They showed up at the time they stated, stripped and re roofed the entire house, and garage, and finished 1 hour before they said they would be done. The yard and driveways were spotless. Found a few nails stuck in the cracks in my neighbors driveway, but I had to dig to get them out, and if you weren't really looking closely, you would have never found them. I washed them strip and re-roof a church in the neighborhood completely in 3 days, so this along with their warranty ended up being the ONLY estimate I got. Would I hire them again.... Absolutely.

Tuscarora's price on both the roof and windows was half of what another contractor (whom I had used previously on my last house) quoted us. We researched the products before agreeing and found Tuscarora's products to have high ratings. They were responsive in making an appointment quickly for an estimate and followed through on their commitments. They did the roof within one day of their target date (the weather had been rainy). They were meticulous about protecting the house from roof debris and cleaning up afterwards, even raking the grass to get up any bits and pieces and using a metal detector/magnet of some kind to pick up any stray nails. They also cleaned the flower beds and swept the driveway. They arrived with a large crew of men, who each knew their job and got right down to it. Our roof was done in half a day. The windows were installed later because they were custom made. The windows were delivered to our garage a couple days before the install date. When the crew leader arrived, he examined the windows and told us that they couldn't be installed because whoever had measured used the wrong measurement. To their credit, they reordered the windows and expedited them so that we didn't have to wait more than a week to get the install done. If you've researched windows you will find that if a window is the wrong size and installed anyway, they will not function properly. I give Tuscarora rave reviews because they didn't even consider trying to install the off-size windows. We never would have known the difference. They did the job right! So, I would recommend them highly. And we are very pleased with the roof and the quality and function of our Alside UltraMaxx vinyl double insulated glass windows. In the very cold winter of 2014, you could touch the inside pane and it would not feel cold at all.

Replace roof in a quick and efficient manner-

Tuscarora roofing arrived at my house at 7:45 am and got right to work. By noon I had a beautiful new roof and my yard was cleaned up as if they were never there.

the estimate process was good - no complaints but I went with what I considered to be the best value. I have seen this contractors work and I think they are great!

Job went perfect. They showed up early, brought a Large team of workers and were done in 4.5 hours. Tuscarora did an excellent job, followed the contract and did everything required. They did a beautiful job. I've had so many comments from my neighbors on the perfect job. I highly recommend this company if you need any work!

They did the work very well, and then, they were done. They were quick, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Estimates: I was very impressed with Greg who performed the estimates for our property. He was prompt and very thorough, answering all of my many questions while he was onsite. I was also happy with the detail with which the estimate was created. Greg measured all roof dimensions on the roof. A competitor only walked around the property and gave a ballpark estimate. Greg also provided a written detailed estimate of the work and quantity valid for 30 days prior to leaving my property. The competitor would not put anything in writing. Price: The cost of both of my projects was much less than the competitor and save me thousands of dollars. Selection of this vendor: I received quotes from the 2 contractors that had the highest level of certification and warranty capabilities from the roofing manufacturer. I based my decision on Angie's list references (Tuscarora very highly rated - A rated, other vendor had several low ratings), personal references, and price (much lower than competitor). Quality of work: Many of my friends had roofs replace over the past few years. All warned me about all the nails I would find in my yard for months to come. However, not so with Tuscarora Roofing. A large team and multiple trucks arrived promptly and immediately began to work efficiently, and respectful of the property. The work was completed quickly. After the job was finished, there were NO nails anywhere to be found in my yard. The crew spent alot of time making sure every bit of old roof and nails were completely removed. I could not be happier with the results. The roof is beautiful and no issues through a couple windy Buffalo rain storms. The windows are sealed well and I am very happy with those as well. I also highly recommend the garden window. Looks great and completely changes the look of the room. I highly recommend this contractor group.

The crew was very good working well as a team, new the job and got it done, very respectfull to property and my wife and I. Clean up was absolutely fantastic. We are extremely pleased with Tuscarora Roofing and we would 100% reccomend Tuscarora to others.

They were very prompt when they gave me an estimate. They were able to replace my roof in one day. There was a large group of workers who worked efficiently and professionally together. They were the best company with the best price. I would highly recommend them.

They came early in the morning, ready to work. This was a large crew of about 10. They worked carefully, spoke politely and completed the work exactly as they promised. Good clean-up afterwards, also. The company did not offer the lowest quote from among the companies from which I collected estimates. However, they did not try to hard-sell me and they had answers for all of my questions. Others who were familiar with them said that they would stand by their work, used quality material, and that I could trust them. I am glad that I chose them because they delivered on their promises.

Because they've provided good, quality service in the past, I called them today for an estimate on a gutter repair. They're professional and polite. They show up on time and work efficiently. They clean up the workspace to the point where you would not know they were there.

Overall the job was done fast and flawlessly. VERY professional, once they got here. However, this was after repeated date changes by Tuscorora. It also took leaving about five messages over several days to get them to call us back. And this happened several times. Our roof was supposed to be done within 2 weeks of getting an estimate. It took them nearly 8 weeks to actually get around to doing our roof!

Everything went great. They came for an estimate and honored the quoted price with no additional surprises. A large crew of workers completed the roof in one day on the day they said they would come and came back to finish installing the gutters 2 days later. They tarped and protected everything, including the neighbor's house, and did a thorough clean up job. The roof looks great and comes with a lifetime transferable warranty from CertainTeed with high quality shingles. The value was excellent and they were the lowest quote I received and included a lot more (including full plywood replacement) that other companies either didn't offer or said "may" need to be done after the tear off at a higher price. I would recommend them to anyone.

We sought four or five estimates and although they were not the cheapest, they were in line with several others and we saw them do a great job on a neighbors home the year before. They explained the warranty well and there was never a hard-sell. The estimator did a nice job and the price of the roof was exact except for the additional damage that was uncovered. We really didn't have the option to ignore the rotten boards so the carpenter onsite gave me a ball park on the additional cost and he was pretty close as well. The crew had to be about 20 people and they did an awesome job completing the tear off and installation in one day (done by about 3pm). I would say they did high quality work on everything. They did an awesome job cleaning up as well... including going over the lawn with a rolling magnet to pick up lost nails. It has been about a year and I have had no issues or problems at all. Even with a few severe wind storms, not even a corner of a shingle was turned up. I only have two gripes: (1) the additional carpentry was not done exactly as he explained it would be... instead of tearing off to the next rafter, they used hangers and and quot;married-upand quot; a support and decking. It seemed fine but it was not what he told me they would do and not what the additional cost estimate was based on. (2) One of the workers tossed a cigarette off the roof and onto my brand new pool cover, which burned a small hole. In all fairness on this one, I mentioned it to the foreman and he offered to compensate us, which they did, accepting my word on the cost of the cover and deducting it from the invoice on the spot. He also read the riot act to the workers, and even if it was only for my benefit I appreciated it. Overall, I would definitely recommend Tuscarora Roofing.

The job was done perfectly. The large crew arrived early and on time and finished everything, including clean up, an about 7 hours. They did a few extra fix's as well that had not been included and at o extra charge. I am familiar with the quality and costs of home repairs and improvements and this company is the best in all categories. I highly recommend Tuscarora to anyone interested in roof or gutter/siding replacement (they did my soffits and gutters last year)

I was very pleased with them. They first came over and gave me an estimate and we lined up a date. On that date they came over and did the job. They did the whole job in a day. They had a team of installers here so they were quick. They cleaned up after themselves. They didn't leave any debris at all anywhere around the property so I was pleased with that. They took precautions pertaining to eliminating any damage around the property so that was good.

they came early the first day and began work. they were impressive in the way this large crew, approximately 15 workers, efficiently set up and began the tearing off the old roof. as i left for work at about 9:30 a.m., half the old roof was gone. when i got home around 6:30 p.m., they were almost three quarters finished. since i have a large and multi-surfaced (complex) roof, i thought they made wonderful progress. they came early the next day and finished the job to my great satisfaction. the job foreman and crew foreman were accessible and willing to explain anything i asked about. the workers were skilled and efficient. they cleaned up all the trash. i am highly satisfied and glad i chose Tuscarora Roofing for the job.
