CLAUSE PAVING

The first day that I found their company on Angie's List and gave them a call, a female answered the phone, took down my information and said that someone would call me later that day to setup a time to come out to give an estimate. I didn't hear anything for nearly a week so I called a second time and this time a male answered. He said he would be right over to give an estimate and he was there within a half hour. He was easy to talk to and seemed like a good guy. He gave me an estimate for the work I was requesting and left. I called him back later that day to let him know that he had the job, to which he said thank you and that he would call me the next week to let me know when he was coming out to start digging. After not hearing from him for 3 weeks, I decided it could be an innocent mistake and decided to call to see when he would be coming out. He said that he would come out the following Tuesday to start working. I made sure he understood that I needed confirmation of this so that I could make sure the site was ready for him. I waited a couple days and when I didn't hear any confirmation I called him on Monday (the day before he was supposed to come out) and he didn't answer and his voicemail was full. I called him again later that day and he answered and said he would have to call me right back, which he did not do. I inferred that he wouldn't be coming to work the following day and decided to give him one more chance. I waited a week to see if he would call and then I called him. He now said that he had equipment problems and was waiting for something to be fixed and PROMISED that he would call me on that Wednesday. He never called. I went with another company for this work after over a month since I told him he had the job.

They came out very quickly after we called them. They gave us an estimate within a day or two and did the work in two days. They did a very nice job. We couldn't run concrete all the way to the road because we had to dig up the town water line. It's a big driveway. The end of the driveway from the water pipes to the road was done using asphalt. They were very fast and did a neat job. It's really hard to find somebody who does small jobs.
