Description of Work: OK, so I'm not sure how to give a fair rating here for several reasons. 1) This is my first Angie's List review. 2) It's been so long since I used an exterminator & we then lived in another state, that I really have no point of reference for a price comparison. 3) I needed to be to work by noon, my husband was out of town (as usual when something happens!) & I didn't want to leave my teenage children home alone when they showed up. So I was anxious already (unidentified bugs tend to do that to me!) and the technician showed up within the last 10 minutes of the 2-hr window I was given, which meant I had to call in late for work. Of course, I didn't share this with the receptionist when we scheduled the service call because I didn't have too many options otherwise as we were approaching the weekend. | |In all fairness, he was kind, courteous, and placed booties over his work boots before walking through my home. He inspected the areas inside & out that I mentioned and then treated them as necessary. I do wish he had taken time to do a complete & unhurried walk around the entire outside perimeter of our home, but I told him I was already late for work. So that didn't help, I'm sure. | |The other thing that caused me hesitation is the fact that the number I called did not direct me to Al's. Instead, I reached Bugg Control, Inc. and Kleen Windows, Inc. out of Grand Island, NY. I was specifically looking to support a local Sanborn business & had spoken to Al myself in the past regarding a separate issue. So I'm not sure what happened there, but I was very confused. I have since called & asked specifically about Al's business & was told Bugg Control & Kleen Windows, Inc. took over his clients due to his health (which I'm sorry to hear). Just wish I would have thought to ask at the time.

Description of Work: Alan Besant successfully dealt with an infestation of hornets that were entering my mother's bedroom. He used a liquid chemical on the inside and a powder on the outside of the house.

Description of Work: They sprayed the front of my house and two bushes. The spot sprayed for yellow jackets.

Description of Work: We call them when we have any problems with bees or pests.

Description of Work: They come to our 2600 square foot home and spray for bees. They come early in the spring and just spray outside along the house.
