Great job by Triple H Insulation. From Ryan the salesman to Andre the installation foreman, what was promised regarding our home’s attic insulation and flooring project was indeed delivered. My experience with Triple H was outstanding, my attic made the top floor of my house very cold in the winter due to no insulation, everyone was so nice and professional, they addressed my concerns, explained the process completely, and got to work, I don’t have to worry about losing money due to heat being drafted out of my attic. I look forward to summer because my house will be comfortable also and not boiling hot because my attic is now insulated!!

The Triple Team installed insulation in my attic and I found them very professional! The job took two days in very HOT August days this passed summer and they worked very hard to complete a Big Job in the timeframe we discussed...two days. The Owner called me to make sure I was satisfied....She is very Professional and really cares the job get done right.

+ -1 moreThey are supposed to come tomorrow, they agreed on that. They called and told me that the job is too small and they refused to do the job. Meanwhile I described the job to the woman, the dimensions and the specifics and she agreed but still cancelled it.

Description of Work: We had a free energy assessment done on our home. They were very professional and thorough. They found mold in our attic that we were unaware of. If it had not been for them it would continue to grow and become a very large problem. We are considering having the work done that they recommended to insulate our home. Jamie was very knowledgeable.

+ 0 moreWe had a great result using them. I originally called because of an issue in a room with a bay window - it was very cold in the window, as though they didn't insulate properly underneath. They offered to come in and do the energy audit. Their recommendations were reasonable, and included a fix for the bay window insulation issue. There was no "hard sell". Their estimated savings for implementing the improvements were $1700 / year. We had the option to finance and roll the costs into our PSEG LI bill, or pay up front (and get a small additional discount). I've recommended them to others, who have had similar positive results.
Description of Work: Initially did a free energy audit. Based on the results of the audit, we then implemented improvement suggestions, including improved insulation at the foundation, added insulation in the attic, and fixed insulation at bay window.

+ 0 moreThe job went without any problems at all. This company did an outstanding job from the beginning to the end. They were exceptionally clean, which wasn't what we were expecting. They were a team of 4 and the job took a whole day. From my first meeting with Brian, Triple H's sales consultant to meeting the crew we couldn't of been happier. They are all first rate professionals and I would highly recommend them for your insulation issues. In the first year since the job we have already seen a reduction in the gallons of oil used this past winter.
Description of Work: Insulated the attic and crawl space. Installed venting for the soffits, air sealed all leaks and applied vapor barriers where needed. Installed preventive boxes over the high hats in the attic to prevent insulation from entering and warm air from escaping from living quarters. Completed a door blower test before and after.

Description of Work: I knew that my attic was underinsulated, but I did not know how great a savings in energy consumption I could expect if I were to add insulation. Triple H is one of the contractors approved by PSE&G to conduct a home energy audit free of charge. They did this, obviously hoping to get the business for any improvements they recommended. As it turned out, the need for more insulation was a small part of the problem. There was virtually free continuity of air in my upstairs rooms with that in my attic. Triple H demonstrated this me, and proposed that air sealing in addition to more insulation would lower my energy usage by an amount that should pay for itself in 8 years. Part of the cost of the work they proposed was borne by PSE&G and National Grid, but still my cost was not low. Nonetheless, I decided to proceed. The men who did the work were very professional, and judged by measured air loss, the improvements they made were greater than they had predicted. I have a complete record of my gas and electricity usage for the last several years. I will compare usage from now on with historical usage. Only then will I truly be able to say how good Triple H was. The rating I now give them is based on my interactions with the man who conducted the initial assessment, the secretary, and the crew who performed the work.

+ -1 moreOver a 1 week period, I called twice without a response. i then emailed them twice the following week according to the telephone message. After the second email, I received a response from Kyle. He told me he would come that Saturday in the afternoon and would call me to confirm. He never showed up or called. i called and left a message clearly stating that I wanted them to do some, but not all of the recommended improvements in my home as I was having ongoing repairs done. A woman called me back stating that they were booked through August for energy audits. When I re-explained to her that I had already had the audit done and was calling to schedule some work done she told me someone would call me back to get more details. A few days later I received a call from a man and re-explained what I wanted done and was told someone would get back to me, It has been over 2 weeks and no one has called.
Description of Work: Triple H did an house energy audit for me through NYSERDA, which went very well. But, I called them to perform insulation in my basement, one of their recommendations, and that's when the nightmare began.

Description of Work: Company rendered energy efficiency evaluation of my home through NYSERDA. They were very punctual, efficient, and detailed in their evaluation of my home. Additionally, their representative Dan, explained things in a language I could understand, found things in my home requiring repair that were not involved in energy efficiency, and spent as much time as necessary to answer all my questions in a satisfactory way. The followup report was received within 1 week of the evaluation. I would HIGHLY recommend them.
