NORTH SHORE FUEL OIL INC

I contacted North Shore Fuel Oil to get an estimate on a heating oil service contract. I had an appointment for 2/2/2013. Nobody showed up or call me to re-schedule. Because I still needed a service contract, and I found out that they also installed LP tanks. I called again for an estimate appointment. This time I added a request to get an estimate on an LP tank installation. Someone was at the house within 1 hour of that call. The employee that came over did a quick inspection of my boiler and oil tank. He also discussed with me where the LP tank could be located. I asked him about the heating oil service contract and he basically said something like "yes we do that". I asked him, as he walk to his van, how much the contract was per year, he gave me some amount as he kept walking to his van. I ask him about the cost per gallon... OK, I had to keep asking questions as he was writing the estimate for the LP tank. Finally he said "we will mail you a service contract" Unhappy with their lack of professionalism, I signed a service contract with another company. On 2/13/2013 North Shore showed up at my house to service my boiler. At no point in this exchange with them did I request the service. The contractors working in my house unknowingly let them in. They basically assumed I would just pay for it. The company I signed with included the boiler cleaning for free. I have no reason to pay someone else. I got an insulting call from Bob at North Shore Fuel. He attempted to fault me for their mistake and expected payment. Now they lost my LP tank business too.
