Description of Work: I paid for 2 blocks of handy man for 4 hours. I thought this meant anything i needed done which was shower and vanity replacement |I was told they dont do that under "handy man" but they would give me a quote and i could put $ i paid towards it. I feel this particular add is misleading.

Description of Work: Replaced existing sunroom, completely replaced walls floor, insulated , painted, sided the outside. Additional work on deck, new gutters, leaders, new portico. this group is the best, no problem is too difficult to fix. The crew couldn't be nicer or good at what they do. Everyone involved did and is doing a great job. Several more things before fully completed but right on schedule.

Description of Work: He made an appointment via email here on Angie's List for August 3rd at 11:30, never showed up and never returned my call of inquiry. That was after an email from his wife stating that they had been on vacation (explained why they didn't respond to first email in a timely fashion) and that they were booked several months out and weren't available. Since time wasn't an issue, I pursued the appointment. He then sent me an email with the above appointment that included a request that I take down the negative review for not returning my first email asking for an appointment, which I did. Then he doesn't keep the appointment and doesn't return my call? What gives JBL? Clearly this company doesn't want my business. Does it want yours?

We did send a date and time for an appointment. We ask the homeowner to let us know if it was good for her and she never answered back. Unfortunately, we just assumed that she did not want the appointment when we did not hear back. Our mistake for assuming. We do apologize for that. We have given this homeowner several estimates in the past and she has not accepted them. For us to keep going on appointments for the same homeowner and not receiving the jobs is very time consuming and not productive. We do appreciate every opportunity we get to work with everyone.

We do apologize for not getting back to this member. Their call was on a Saturday and we are closed on the weekends. We did have a muffled message on our machine and could not understand the message. It could have been this members message. We do take pride in ourselves with returning every call the same day and any call on the weekends we make sure that we return the calls on Monday. Again, we do greatly apologize to this member for not getting back to them.

Description of Work: JBL was not able to fulfill this voucher. Seemed eager to have me return, must have suggested it several times even when I tried to see what else could be offered. Love these companies... Selling vouchers they don't want to offer.

Unfortunately this customer did not read what the voucher was actually for. The cost of the job had to be at least $2500.00 to receive the rebate. The work that the customer wanted to have done was only for approximately $250.00 to $500.00. The customer also needed the job done within a couple of days of their call to us. We could not accommodate that request. We do apologize of the inconvenience this has caused this customer.

Description of Work: Installed basement window wells, repaired 2 interior doors, cleaned and painted the walls and floors of a full basement and the oil tank. The job came in on target and was performed in the time constraints we set due to our schedule. We are very satisfied with the work and will use them again if the need arises. I recommend this provider.

We had gone to the homeowner's house for the estimate. I had told the homeowner it would take a week or two to get back to her. I is unfortunate that the homeowner did not hear me say a week or two to get back to her, I always inform my customers when I go on the estimates that it would take that long for the size of the job she wanted done. I was in the process of working on the proposal and the homeowner would have had it by the end of the week. I called the homeowner to ask her why she would put a report up like this without calling me first and her reply was that it was taking too long. As I had said, I told her it would be a week or two.
