Bathroom came out great ! We were very pleased . Dave was always available for questions and all his workers were great!

They were fine, there were no issues, we just didn't use them. They were very personable. I went with someone else local in our area. I thought they were professional. If the need came, I'll call them again. It took him 4 days to get an estimate. When he came in he said that he had a couple of things going on, so he told us it would be 4-5 days. He made expectations on that.

Went well, Dave, the person who came to do the estimate came on the day of job but left once his two workers were set up. They were very courteous and completed the job. Only one thing they forgot to do so i called and someone came right back. They were suppose to secure a wooden deck post by putting a few extra nails in but when he looked at the post he noticed the wood was rotted and needed to be replaced. They refunded me the $50.00 I had already paid.

Excellent, we are very happy with JBL and the final results. Dave and his workers were absolute professionals. Courteous, respectful and they always communicated the plan and the next steps in the process. Matt and Jimmy were extremely nice guys and myself and my family felt very comfortable with them. Dave's communication was excellent he always got back to me in a timely manner. He stayed on schedule and always showed up in the morning to relay the plan to his guys. They always cleaned up after themselves and left everything neat.

The first project was a full basement remodel. Dave worked with me on the best layout and design, was flexible, fair and most important was that the job was done right. Dave finished the basement, which included a basement bathroom, bedroom, living room area and closets. The second project was a complete full remodel of an upstairs bathroom. it included gutting the bathroom, moving plumbing, removing an old tub and installing a new shower, vanity, tile and toilet as well as moving a wall and building a linen closet. Overall, I have never hired a contractor with a crew that was more professional and polite that at JBL. I hired Dave after calling his references and I am glad that I did. I would absolutely hire Dave again and plan too.

Could not have gone better! Everything exceeded my expectations. Careful thought went into each decision. Would hire again in a heartbeat!

They did a fantastic job creating a clean, comfortable living area out of raw space (cinder block walls, concrete floor). The fujitsu heater/ac unit they recommended keeps the space dry and a perfect temperature. (Price includes the fujitsu unit, approximately $3,000. The only part of the project JBL did not do was the flooring, which we had carpeted.)

The work was sub-par and had a lack of oversight. Details of the work was not well overseen. Follow up on the work and customer satisfaction is not high on their list of priorities. Would not recommend.

It has been a few years now. I thought I may have overpaid but seeing how this white kitchen ceiling has held up, well you get what you pay for. If you want to get the job done right I definitely recommend JBL.

Dave and his crew are terrific. They more than just do their job, but they care about your home and take pride in the work they do. Dave showed up on time early each morning to go over the work for the day both with his crew and the homeowner. There were never any surprises. They not only are professional, but they are very pleasant to have in your home. They made some suggestions for minor changes to what we had in mind based on their experience and they were right. The job was finished in the time frame Dave estimated. The finish job more than matched our vision. We will gladly have them in our home again for other work. The cost was competitive with other contractors in the area without any sales pressure or gimmicks. If you have the time and desire to look for the bathroom accessories on your own, I would highly recommend JBL.

These guys are wonderful and truly professional craftsman. Everyone one of them was extremely nice/kind/respectful! They did amazing work and we so happy with the completed product! We will definitely hire them again! I was so happy we found them!

The job went better than expected. From the start JBL (Dave) was on time with all planning meetings. He was clear with what he could do and led us through the process well. We were impressed with how fast everything happened once they started. The dumpster arrived and soon our old kitchen and living room was demo'd. We were very happy with the guys working on his team, all courteous, all showing up early in the morning to work. My wife and I remarked more than once to each other how we were comfortable with this crew in our home. We were kept up to date by Dave throughout the project what was next on the horizon. As the work was finished JBL was good about doing any last minute adjustments and finishing the job right. That leads me to comment on the overall finished product. Really nice work, the kitchen and floors look great.

The crew arrived on time, they were very professional and they had the right tools for the job. They moved almost all of the furniture in one room to clean almost all of the carpet, all of the stains are gone, the carpet looks like new again. In the second room they were able to move all the furniture and that carpet looks new again. The grout in both bathrooms probably didn't need to be cleaned, but we wanted to have them cleaned. The machine they use sanitizes the tile floor, the whole floor gets cleaned, not just the grout. They floors look like new as well. I would definitely use them again and would recommend Preferred Choice Cleaning Services.

I found JBL on Angie's list with a very good rating and they are local so I sent them a message explaining my problem. JBL responded to my inquiry quickly and quoted me a fair price given such a small repair job. Initially I was told they could do the repair in one week, but they came early and got it fixed before an expected nor'easter tomorrow. Really appreciate the prompt service, and they took care of a problem I was not able to fix myself. Someday the entire house needs to be resided, and I will definitely consider JBL again for the larger job.

They were honest. They told us stuff that we didn't need to do. Instead of just taking our money, they told us what we didn't have to have done. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Everything went very well. I learned that Dave, a very good man is the owner of the company. He is the person who comes to the house and gives estimates and also oversees each aspect of the project. A very good thing. He made sure all work was done to both his and my satisfaction. The men he left behind to complete the work were all very respectful and professional. A very well done, professional and clean job. His men came in, used clean drop cloths, did the work and cleaned up inside and outside each day. They took all the trash and left the house in very good condition. They worked fast and efficiently.

I was happy with the price. They were polite, and they left everything immaculate. They were the best people! I will absolutely use them again and I would recommend them to anyone! They were right on time as well.

Everything went very well, and we are extremely pleased. They were professional, puntual, concientious, and very pleasant to work with. We had some window treatments which had to be removed so that the work could be done, and when the work was finished they put them all back up for us - and this was not an easy thing to do! I would recommend JBL Home Improvement to anyone. They were great!

First of all,Dave is a true gentlemen and professional.He took his time and showed me where he was going to do the repairs and explained everything step-by-step.All work was done far beyond my expectations and on time.I will always recommend and use use JBL in the future !

Overall the job went very well. JBK was very professional, worked hard to contain the dust to that section of the house, were responsive to requests and finished the job on schedule. Felt that the unexpected extras were priced higher than should have been.

Sandy happened a couple weeks later. Where they excavated the dirt had settled, the chimney was not built properly - add on, so the chimney also settled and split. They came back and joist the chimney and fixed that crack free of charge!

Everything was great. Dave was really responsive. I would always get an answer to my email within a few hours. They did an excellent job. The ceiling came out perfect, as did the tub and tiles. Dave purchased the tub and accessories from his plumbing supply store, so it was even easier for us. They were very clean, and even put down a drop cloth in our entry way so they wouldn't track dirt in the house. We were very happy that Dave came at the end of the job to make sure everything was done perfectly. We appreciated that. We have more work to do in our house, and we will definitely be calling JBL Home Improvements.

DAVE AND HIS ENTIRE CREW WERE GREAT. THEY WERE ON TIME EVERYDAY AND ALWAYS POLITE. THERE WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY AND RESULTED IN A TRULY BEATUIFUL BATHROOM. COMPARED TO OTHER CONTRACTORS HIS PRICES WERE MORE THEN REASONABLE. I PLAN ON RECOMMENDING HIM TO OTHER MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY AND WILL NOT HESITATE TO USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN.
