Thermo Seal Windows Siding & Roofing

I couldn't be more please with the work completed on my home by Thermo Seal team. Entire team from Aaron in Sales to Bob, Freddy, Willie and Romano in construction were top notch!! When job started some unexpected structural issues uncovered once old siding removed. The team worked together to get it fixed and to keep additional costs within my budget. The finished product is gorgeous and I still can't believe its my house! The team at Thermo Seal is professional, courteous, and very talented. They clearly take great pride in delivering a quality end product for their customers. I highly recommend this company. e

Everything went as promised. Aaron was a pleasure to deal with. He was informative and answered all our questions. He responded quickly when we left him a message. The windows were installed as promised and on schedule. I would recommend him to our friends and we will use him again when we finish replacing the rest of our windows.

From start to finish, they where professional, Aaron from the sales staff and Installers knew their product.

Aaron showed up for the estimate on time and gave us a great price; he didn't rush us and even excused his self so my husband and I could discuss what we wanted to do. Aaron gave us an estimated date when everything would be delivered and he was right on target. I must say I was very impressed with everyone who performed work. First off lets start with the garage door installers great! Next we had Jader who was punctual, and upon arrival got straight to work. He proceeded to remove the double entry doors, and then measured and shimmed and measured again I was so impressed with his attention to detail. When Jader was finished he made sure that I was happy with the work and answered any questions I had, he was great! I would also like to say THANK YOU Aaron for keeping us happy!! We will definitely be utilizing Thermo-Seal again in the future; they were congenial, pleasant, and clean. If you are in need of doors Thermo-Seal is the place to call!!

We're very happy to have gone with Thermo-Seal. Workers showed up on time and worked quickly and cleanly. Minor issue with two windows being ordered in the wrong size, but a return trip was going to happen anyway for the bay window install, so no biggie. Most of our old windows barely closed, so we noticed the house retain heat right away. The installers returned on a Saturday to install the bay window and finish out the last 2 remaining windows. Another full day of work. Again, the guys were on time and went out of their way to keep things clean. At every point of the install I felt the guys were making sure things were done correctly - leveling, insulation, steel cabling for the bay window, matching shingles to the roof for the bay and new matching molding on the interior for the bay. The house used to lose 2 degrees of temp within 30 minutes of the heat being turned off, and it would get worse quickly from there. After finishing the install, the house was able to hold at about 68 degrees for like four hours. They look great and seem to function great. We'll obviously get a better idea when we're opening/closing them more often in the spring and summer, but I've no reason to doubt they'll be great. The bay window is fantastic. From the outside, it looks as if it was always part of the house, which I think is a credit to the installers. Looks great from the inside too. UPDATE: A squirrel took a leap at one of our windows and tore a large gash in the screen. Aaron ordered us a new screen free of charge, delivered it and offered to install. We were able to easily install it ourselves with a few directions over the phone.

Met Aaron at a Suffolk Co. homeshow. Liked the product we saw & what Aaron had to say. He came to our home to assess the job & give us an estimate. Aaron explained everything about his window product as it compared to our old windows & what we could expect from a new installation. Initially we were going to replace 8 windows, but after speaking we contracted for 16. Aaron is very knowledgeable & enthusiastic about his window product. He takes pride in the Thermo Seal company & strives to maintain its integrity. The company's installers,as promised, were terrific. We have had bad past experiences with disreputable companies and cheaper/inferior products. The bottom line is Thermo Seal is a reputable company with excellent products and experienced installers. We would highly recommend Aaron & Thermoseal Window&Siding.They were everything promised. Also with Thermoseal there is no gray line between installer and manufacturer so you are always dealing direct with the company.

Aaron was diligent about follow up phone calls concerning all my queries about the windows and subsequently the dates that everything would happen. He is a man of his word. I was not thrilled that the Harvey window does not rate for air filtration on their fenestration label but I did know this before I ordered. Some window mfg.'s installers insert their windows from the outside but not Harvey. I think that would be a better method as it would save the stop moldings inside the home from less than perfect removal. Caulk seems to be the remedy for all things not dealt with carefully. All in all, the windows look great and I'm anxious to see the extra warmth they might provide in my house this winter. Good luck to anyone shopping for replacement windows. I found the selection process excruciating. I think it's an industry wide problem that probably won't get better any time soon. However, Aaron of Thermo-seal made the experience as pain free as could be expected and was forthright with the questions I put to him. His last words to me were should anything happen to break the glass, just give a call and he would come out and replace the sash. And one more thing that Harvey Windows offer that is unique, is the exterior grid package along with the grids between the glass, giving the windows a more authentic individual pane look from the outside while making them easy to clean from the inside.

Aside from the fact that the work started a month later than I expected, I am completely satisfied with the work that was done. Aaron, the owner of the company, takes pride in his workman and in their professionalism. He is very easy to work with and I would use his company again in the future. I have lived in the house for 34 years and the siding and soffits needed to be replaced, especially after all the nor'easterners and hurricanes that we have had lately. The house looks brand new. I love the color and the style. My siding looks so much better than I expected since I have seen other jobs in the neighborhood and this company really knows what they are doing. The one window that I had replaced was installed improperly by another contractor and it deteriorated over the years. Aaron made a window that looks similar to the other windows in the front of my house but better.

They were exceptional in every respect. The product is outstanding, and the price was better than most competitors. Aaron was a pleasure to deal with and the installers were extremely professional and perfectly clean.

Thermo-Seal was most responsive from the start and throughout the whole project. Aaron came by immediately and explained their product as well as the process. Their windows are custom made and of high quality. Very easy to use and beautiful. They also provide a lifetime guarantee for them which I found particularly attractive and comforting. Aaron's obvious expertise was very helpful for me. His advice was most valuable in making a decision about this big job. Unlike the other companies I had consulted for quotes, he was precise and didn't push anything on me. He gave me honest and reliable answers and quoted me a price that was going to be it for the whole project, I was not going to experience surprises. And I didn't - the agreed upon price was the final price even though there were a couple of unforeseen issues they had to fix at my place. The job was started on August 15th and finished completely on August 22nd. The windows were put in in one day as Aaron had predicted (24 windows!) His workers were punctual, polite and did a fabulous job. I love these new windows! The siding crew came the next day, took off the existing siding in one day and started installing the siding right away. Everyone of them worked constantly and they managed to get it all done in only 5 days! I was very impressed by their speed and accuracy. Everything, all details as well look great, they left my premises cleaned up perfectly. The siding crew as well was experienced and professional, punctual, fast and reliable. The price was a bit high but for the quality and service provided it was good and definitely competitive. All in all I could not be happier with their work and I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends (in fact I already have).

We received 3 quotes for the job and THERMO-SEAL was competitive. Aaron came by the house and gave us some good insight on the job and helped us choose appropriate color, design and hardware that wouldn't clash with our homes features. Aaron gave us a quote on the spot which was on the money, no surprises. We told him we wanted a few more quotes and completely understood and asked that we give him a call to let him know which way we decided to go. After meeting with a couple other "door guys" we decide to go with Aaron based on his reputation and a gut feel that he was the guy for our job; he's a straight shooter who stands behind the quality of his craftsmanship and service and we were comfortable with his approach from the start. He was punctual and kept us "in the loop" throughout the process. The doors are custom made and finished to order so it did take several weeks to get the door finished and at one point it needed to be sent back for a minor defect in the finish that we probably wouldn't have noticed but it didn't pass THERMO-SEAL's quality control, it only delayed the job by a week so it wasn't a big deal. The guys finished the job in a day and it is beautiful. When I got home from work there were no signs that there had been construction going on other than our fabulous new door! We will definitely use them again for future work.

They did a good job. Unfortunately, because of the storm they were busy. Everybody was busy because we had so much this year. So, it took long which I did not like, but it was not necessarily all their fault. I know that they had other priorities as well.

We meet Arron at the Westchester Home Show in January, and scheduled an appointment for free in home estimate. We really liked the quality, looks, and functionality of the Harvey Majesty Window he was displaying as well has his helpful and professional manner. The in home estimate took approximately 45 minutes. Arron was on time, gave us the key information we needed, and did use any hard sell tactics that we experienced from other contractors who gave us estimates. It wasn't until April that we finally made a decision as to what windows and contractor we wanted to use. During that time Aron would call around once a month to check in and see how we were doing. We were considering Andersen 400 series, but liked the quality and styling of the Harvey Majesty window better. Thermo-seal's price was 20% less that any other competitor selling the Harvey Majesty windows, and we felt comfortable using them based off the other great reviews. We put approximately 50% down and scheduled another appointment for a technician to measure the windows and were told the windows would take approximately 4-5 weeks to be custom made to our windows exact measurements. 4 weeks later I called to check on the status and found that my windows had just come in and scheduled an appointment for a team to come on a Friday and Saturday to complete the work. Due to inclement weather ,the team was not able to come that Friday. In order keep us on schedule, the supervisor Bob sent two teams (4 workers) that were able to complete the entire job in one day, so I wouldn't have to miss any time from work. The workers arrived early Saturday morning. They were polite and highly skilled, although they did have limited English. They quickly and carefully began removing and replacing our windows. The windows themselves were all correctly ordered and fit well. I was particularly impressed by how well they replaced the aluminum capping around the outside trim of our windows. They completed the entire job in one day and left the house and yard as clean as they found it. The supervisor Bob came by that afternoon to check on the work and collect the payment. We have had the windows for a few weeks now and love them so far. The house looks and feels so much better. We are planning on redoing our siding next year and based on our experience we will look to Thermo-Seal first to give us the best quote.

We were not present when actual replacement took place, but the net result was impressive. Not only are new windows clean and sealing well, they give the entire house an uplifted look. Foremost, it was a pleasure to communicate with Aaron. He is one of the most down-to-earth and decent contractors we interact with. Every conversation was pleasant, no redundancies. At the estimation round, Aaron promised that they would replace windows we are unhappy with; weeks after the project is complete, we noticed a crack in one of the master bedroom's windows, contacted Aaron, panel replaced as promised. Another story is that at the end of the project, we ran short financially, and made arrangements with Aaron to delay the last payment for a few weeks. Aaron waited those weeks, no questions asked. We could only supply our opinion from home owner's perspective, superficially on functionalities and apprearances; it is worth mentioning that my general contractor, formerly a professional architect, was impressed with Thermo-Seal as well. One month after my project is complete, they are now collaborating on a number of projects.

We met Aaron at the Home Show at Pace University (Jan. 2013) and he promptly met with us about 2 weeks later ... we originally wanted to look into new windows and siding but when he arrived he said that "honestly, we needed a new roof before windows and siding". We were not expecting this but trusted his expert assessment. Aaron even gave us a few local customers phone numbers so we could ask them for a recommendation. Early March we were finally able to have the work started despite the cold and stormy weather. However, when the crew began working and taking off the layers of shingles they found that we also needed a new plywood base. This was a real shock, especially financially !! We were not prepared for this ... Aaron and Bob were surprised as well but quickly reevaluated the work to be done and gave us a fair price. Bob obtained the needed plywood and his crew of 7 were amazing! They arrived at our home at 8:30 am on 3/5 and by 5:30 pm they had the roof completely done and our front yard cleaned up. You would never have known that they had replaced an entire roof by looking at the front yard, the back yard had to wait another 2 days because we needed another dumpster. On 3/7 the crew returned to finish the clean up of the backyard. On Saturday, 3/9 our new gutters and leavers were installed. And after the rain storm on 4/10 we can say our new roof is waterproof !! Will definitely use Thermo-Seal Windows for future work !!

Aaron was very helpful, on time, handled the coop paperwork and installed the window within our time frame.The window is nice, sturdy and very easy to clean. Will definitely use him again.

Representative was honest and friendly. He gave me a price quote that was fair based on the requirements I had. I did not choose this vendor because I decided against replacement windows.

From estimate to installation we had a very straightforward and pleasant experience with Thermo-Seal. When Aaron came for the estimate he was personable, knowledgeable, and to the point. We never felt pressured or uncomfortable. The warranty on the windows is excellent and the windows are much better quality than some of the others we saw. Their financing option is awesome and extremely helpful when trying to fund more than one project at a time! Aaron was able to schedule someone to come out and measure the day after the estimate. Our windows came in a week sooner than expected and were even scheduled for early installation, however the weather did not cooperate. Nonetheless we still had the windows installed as promised by the end of October (total of about 3-4 weeks from estimate to installation). Installers were professional and were able to complete the job in one day. They cleaned up after themselves and took away all old windows and debris. So far we are very pleased with how the windows look and function. We would definitely recommend Thermo-Seal.

Aaron and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were prompt, professional, courteous and detail oriented. The windows they installed are great and exactly what we desired for our home. The entire job took a mere one and a half days. They moved all furniture with care and cleaned up after the replacements were finished. I would gladly work with them again and would highly recommend them to all.
