We have been using Ridge Door for 14 years and they always do a great job. I called and they came the next day to fix it. They are polite and respectful. They did a wonderful job!

I had a wood garage door installed by Ridge Door Sales about 5 years ago, maybe more. The sales and installation went smoothly; however, when the door needed repair (i couldn't close it) the man who takes care of that, think his name is Peter, was totally unprofessional and nasty. Never, never has someone been so nasty. Door started to rot within 5 years and they wanted to charge $800 to fix it....and once again were nasty about it. What about standing by your product? NEVER NEVER NEVER would I go back. I think there are two brothers who own this place. One is really nice and I would like to give him the business but the other is such a complete jerk that you should run away! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

They were very prompt and efficient. The door had to be ordered, and came in earlier than expected. In fact, the door was installed a week and a day after I received the estimate. I would highly recommend this provider to anybody looking for a new garage door.

I have an old cape cod with an irregular 8' wide garage door that was probably from 1947. Wood had rotted away and needed to be replaced. Called up Ridge and the same day John showed up to give me an estimate. I had actually stripped the door with the intention of redoing it but he concurred with my conclusion that it was probably not worth it to spend $600 on repairing the door.He made some measurements and then suggested going with the HAAS 600 series door - 1 3/8 insulated steel with an 1/3HP opener, manual outside disconnect in case of power loss, exterior keypad, one remote, and one interior control for $1275. Because of the irregular size he had to order the door. Took just over a week or so and they called up on Monday saying the door was ready. The techs showed up at the appointed time (in fact about 15 minutes early) and got straight to work.They removed all the old parts and installed the new door and opener in about 3 hours as I watched. I gave them a B on quality only because they didn't apply caulk to the final door trim pieces. I like to do things right the first time. Not a huge deal as I did it myself but it would be have been better if they had done it. Also they left the springs that came with the door at the shop - tech said they were rated for 110lbs and he used a set of 105lbs springs he had in the truck. The only thing I can gripe about the door itself is the color - while we agreed on white it turned out to be a slightly off white. Oh well - it's not that bad.Overall very happy with the service. It was a quick and easy process. I didn't even haggle with the price since it seemed very reasonable and was right in line with other prices I had researched online. Overall I am extremely satisified with the entire process. I am one of those homeowners that likes to do things himself...however, I knew my limit and was impressed with the installation.

Ridge Door sales responded to the call immediately. Price was a hair higher than expected, but given the smoothness of the transaction, I can't complain. The repairman also pointed out one of my panels is cracked and indicated that someday I might need to change it (that's a helpful tip).

Staff was very efficient and professional. They worked quickly to install the opener and adjust it for the house. Overall, very happy with the job and with the crew. They showed up on time and performed the work. Their price was a little on the high side relative to comparison with other providers but I found their responsiveness the deciding factor and professionalism worthy of the premium. I would do business with them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Someone came out within a day of my call and measured the doors. I had been looking on-line at different door types, and over the phone I chose the model I wanted. Within two weeks the doors were installed. The workers were polite, punctual, and neat. The doors have functioned well ever since.

The process of scheduling an appointment and getting an estimate was a big waste of time. These people need to upgrade to better technology. First the rep couldn't find our house because the maps he was using had paper roads on them (paper maps in 2012?), then they expected us to wait more than a week to get a written estimate in the mail when other people are printing them on the spot? Wow!

I made a decision to go with Ridge a week after receiving the estimate and gave them the go ahead for the job. 3 weeks after the call I was nervous about not hearing anything back (they told me about 4 weeks). They said they'd call me when the door arrived. The following week they called me and I setup the install for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving when it was convenient for me. The day of the install I got a call saying the installer was running a little behind and would be there about an hour late. The installer arrived and went to work. I pointed out my worries about the tight measurements in the garage and he agreed that it was a tight fit. About midway through the job i went to check on how things were going. The installer showed me some initials and a date from a couple of parts of the door he removed. It was his father that installed the doors 50+ years ago. We had a great talk about that. I can report the installer did as great a job as his father and I've had no issues.

They came out get us an estimate and did the work about a week later. Service was punctual and estimate was exactly what they charged. So far so good - it's only been about a month - but if all goes well for a while I will use them we eventually replace the other side of our two-door garage.

I gave them a call and set up a day for them to come visit. On that day, measurements were taken and I was given a brochure of my choices. Once I had selected what I wanted, they ordered it and since I had an irregular measurement for my garage door, it took about 2 weeks for it to arrive and by the time it did arrive, I'd be on vacation. However, we scheduled it, so that it would be installed when I got back and everything went smoothly.

They were very responsive, were quite knowledgeable regarding their business, and overall the experience was a positive one.

They came the day after I called. They were kind and gave me an option to replace cable wires or not. I was very happy with their prompt service and friendly personalities.

They are very reasonable and punctual. You do not need to be home for them to come and do the work.

My garage door opener failed after 10 years. I had no idea who to call or what to do so I used Angie's list and found Ridge Door installation. After a short phone call, they knew exactly what to do and came the next day to replace the garage door opener without me even being home. They were friendly, fast and efficient.

Came on time.Completed job quickly and cleaned up. Even threw in an extra open/close garage switch.

showed up within the window of time offerred. finished the work efficiently, explained what he was doing, made suggestions for future maintenace. he was very professional.

These guys were great! They came out to give us an estimate the day after I called, and said they didn’t need us to be home, that they could tell all they needed to by looking from the outside and in the windows. They left brochures at the house and called the next day to talk about our options. We were debating whether to replace the exterior wood frame of the garage door and they called our attention to a larger issue if we would have had that done. They recommended a door that would fit with the style of our house, which we ordered. Installation was easy, they called on a Wednesday and the door was installed on a Friday. Workers were efficient and clean, answered all my questions. Our old garage door barely made a seal with the house despite extra weather stripping, but this new one is perfect! We priced out a few other companies and while this wasn't the cheapest, we had the most options for a door that would fit our 1930's Tudor. I would recommend this company very highly!

I guess you could say that they did a great job. They only thing that bothered me is that they did not say anything after they finished the job. Did not stop at the front door to say they were done or what they had done. A few days later, I got the bill in the mail which said "serviced and adjusted garage door" with a charge of $100 plus tax. I was never quoted a price or anything like that. So, while I am satisfied, I would have preferred a little more communication.

On the garage door, we started with another company, and they were hopeless. They didn't know what they were doing, they coudln't fix it, and they didn't have the part. So we looked at the Yellow Pages and picked out a name, which happened to be Ridge Door Sales. They came over and they were excellent. They came on time and did the work for a reasonable fee. They more than fixed what was wrong, they fixed what should've been done in the first place.

I went out to the garage and found the garage door would not open. I checked the batteries on the remote, and they were fine (actually you could hear the motor run when I entered the code). I went immediately to the computer and Angie's List. I decided on Ridge Door Sales Co. - and I am so glad! I called early Monday morning. Whoever answered the phone was very pleasant, asked about my problem, and even offered some possibilities as to cause. He told me someone would be at my home between noon and 3 p.m. Jack arrived just about noon. He looked at the door, figured out what was causing the problem, and got it open. Then he told me the wonderful news that it didn't need to be replaced yet - probably soon, but not yet. It's an old door, and somehow it had become locked and was pushed off the track. Jack fixed everything up. He was a very knowledgeable, very pleasant, and most important, fixed the problem immediately. Even more important he was honest. As a senior citizen, who definitely is not knowledgeable about this sort of problem, I am very grateful to find a company that has employees who are honorable and intelligent and trustworthy. I would certainly recommend Ridge Door Sales to anyone who has a problem with their garage doors. My door is old, and will probably need replacing soon. Ridge Door Sales Co. will be the only company I will call to come and do the job! I am especially glad that I belong to Angie's List, because that's where I got their name from. I certainly see why this company is as highly rated as it is. It's A number 1!!

They wanted to install and automatic door, and it's not what I wanted. The service man was nice and polite, but they seem disinterested. They gave me a verbal estimate rather than a written estimate.

Steve called me back, asked me to talk through what was happening, and then said that he didn't need to make a service call to fix this. He talked me through making a very easy adjustment to a setting on the door and it was resolved. If I ever do need to replace the garage door opener, then I will call this company. Avoiding that service call just covered the cost of my subscription to Angie's List.

They recommended a steel door, but I wanted a wooden door, and they ordered one for me. One thing I wasn't pleased with was that they installed the door while it was snowing, and I think it would have gone better with a primed door, but they had recommended an unprimed door. The recommendation for an unprimed door would have been better if it wasn't winter time. Also the next day the lock wasn't working, so I called them, and they came out right away to fix it. Recently, we had another problem with the lock, and we found out that the lock was on warranty for a year. Overall, the experience with this company has been very good. They have been very responsive.
