Al is very nice and easy to deal with. He came with 4 other guys and attempted to finish the job in a single day. Unfortunately, there was enough sloppiness in the work done that we had to request Al to return at a later date to fix things. He did so but under a certain amount of our supervision. Bottom line: too much micro-management was required for the price we paid.

I contacted Al for a quote for the interior painting of my house. He was punctual and professional. They are doing an excellent job and the crew is a pleasure to have around.

He was a very kind man. He did a wonderful job and goes above and beyond. The price was excellent also. I’ve already received an estimate from him for the bathroom to be painted soon too!

Al was quick to respond to my inquiry. An in person meeting was held to give a detailed estimate. Al was on time and professional. On the day of the scheduled painting, he and his team came. The job was well done and completed quickly. They moved all furniture and drapery and put it back in its correct place prior to leaving. They also made sure to clean up after. I really appreciated that he and his team looked over the walls carefully to ensure that the wall was fully covered (no spots could be seen through the dark paint) and went over each spot to make sure there was proper and thorough coverage. We were very satisfied with the work.

I purchased a $99 Angie's List deal for this vendor. That only covered a certain amount of square footage, my needs were greater than that, so I had to pay extra. Al was easily reachable by email, which made it easy to communicate. Once we set a date and time, he confirmed what kind of paint I wanted to use, and we were all set. He showed up on the scheduled day with 2 guys, who did the majority of the work. They were careful to cover all the furniture in the room, and afterwards I did not see any paint drippings on the floor either. They did 2 coats of paint on the walls, plus painted all the trim and it took them about 6 hours. They said wait for it to dry for about 24 hours, which we did, and everything looks great. I did think it was a little expensive compared to some quotes friends had received, but I don't mind paying a little more for the piece of mind that the job will be done right. Overall a painless experience and we are happy.

It all went very well. Fast, efficient, quality affordable work.

He was professional. His crew was on time, neat and cleaned up. He was here when he said he would and finished when he said.

Al Gallo was quick to submit an estimate that was fair and he was able to start work right away. The whole job took 3 days. He arrived when he said he would and his estimation of the time it would take was spot on. The carpentry and wall repair work is excellent and the paint lines look good. the room looks great. I would recommend Gallo Paint and use his services in the future.

I use them not just for me but I recommend him to my client but then I am there while they meet and discuss what work he going to do then I certainly hear afterwards whether or not he was effective. He has done both interior work and exterior work which involves carpentry, moving walls, installing doors and windows and things like that and he also is an excellent painter. He also does masonry. He is really easy to work with. If cannot do it himself, he has somebody that helps. I really trust him.

They are prompt and on-time. I have had a good experience with their work.

Al came and gave us a free estimate and then he and his team did the work and removed all the debris created by the job. Al has worked for us and our clients for many years - we are Realtors. Al always does a great job for a reasonable price. He's on time, does all that he promises, and cleans up afterward. Al has also done some interior painting and repairs for us on our home over the years. We couldn't be more satisfied. We always recommend him for home improvements and repairs. He's the best!

I was very pleased from the beginning, and I had no complaints. Mr. Gallo was very nice and compliant. He did not paint himself; he had one man do the work, and he did a very good job. He was very neat and punctual. He came every morning around 8 o’clock and worked hard. I am very pleased with the outcome, even in terms of the price. I have nothing bad to say about them and would rate them highly.

Mr. Gallo was very professional from start to finish. He came out within a few days of my initial call to see the house and asked questions to make sure he was preparing an estimate for the work we wanted. We did not want to go to the expense of removing all the uneven layers of paint and sanding it perfectly smooth, which he understood. He phoned me with an estimate several days later and broke out an optional item we were considering (painting brickface on the front). His estimate was reasonable, and a realtor I know gave him a very good reference, so we decided to go ahead. He began the job on schedule and worked closely with his crew of 2-3 workmen. They came promptly every day and worked efficiently, cleaning up thoroughly each evening. Mr. Gallo encountered some additional rotting in the siding and discussed the necessary repairs with me. He also helped me with color choices (and, by the way, he uses high quality Benjamin Moore paint). We did decide to paint the brickface to match the clapboard, and also used a contrasting color on the cinderblock foundation and chimney, which is very attractive. My husband and I are very happy with the new paint and the quality of the work!

Great. He came over shortly after we called him, gave us a clear estimate of time and cost and then did the work when he said he would and the results were all we had hoped for. He also advised us on our color choice. I recommended him to a client of mine (I am a Realtor) and they have a similar experience so far, though he has not yet completed the work they have agreed on. It should be finished next week.
