The crew did not cover the deck furniture from the dirt coming down. The deck and pathways were all dirty and not cleaned up after the job. After I told the company about that, Sergio came in and used our broom to take some debris down from the umbrella and left. No offense, but he was also hard to understand.

Double R came in and gave us a quote, were able to get to the work quickly, explained things as they went along and were very professional and helpful.

I would highly recommend Double R A Construction Corp to anyone looking to have replacement siding, new windows and doors installed. Prior to hiring them to do the work, Tony inspected our home and explained everything that needed to be done upfront. His attention to detail was phenomenal. This is the third time that we have had renovations done at our home and the first time that the job went so smoothly and absolutely no complaints. They were neat, courteous and very professional. We were extremely happy when the work was completed.

The estimate made sense and the work was done quickly and on time. They have followed up on any questions or additional issues that have come up. I would recommend them anytime.

From start to finish, I found Double R's people to be reliable, professional, and knowledgeable. Tony gave me a detailed written quote, went over every aspect of the job with me ahead of time, and was accommodating regarding the timing of the job, which required him to come in right after another contractor finished. When the other contractor didn't do everything he said he'd do, Tony stepped in to do that part of the other job, sending some of his workers over a few days earlier than we'd anticipated. The work itself was done in a professional manner, and I was happy with the result. Sergio and his crew were responsive and reliable, and I was impressed by his ability to solve problems that were uncovered when the outside layers of the house were removed. The price of the job wasn't the cheapest quote I'd received, but it was not significantly higher, and in the end I felt that I received value for the money because of how relatively low-stress the experience was compared with other renovation projects I'd done.

We really shopped around before signing a contract with Tony Sotiri. Tony is certified with CertainTeed and his workers are full time and treated well. We weren't the easiest of clients, but Tony worked patiently with us to select roofing and all of the options we needed. Our own roof had previous problems with squirrels accessing the attic. Since our roof was replaced we've had no problems. His team came on time, worked hard and completed work according to schedule. We've been very happy with the work they did and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Tony came out to give us a quote on residing, exterior insulation and recapping windows. I haven't used them yet but if their works is as detailed as Tony's explanation then it will be done with perfection.

He took some items out of the shed and put them in my cellar. He was very helpful and understanding. He answered every question and was never annoyed. I walked around the house with them and was satisfied that they solved all the problems. He was a gentleman and was very patient. Even with all the recent heavy rains I haven't had any problems. He did a great job of using the existing gutters and repairing them instead of just wanting to replace them.

They were excellent. They are very good. The owner of the company was very involved. He supervised the work. It was done very well. We were happy with them. We would recommend them to other people. We absolutely had no problem. I had some references and several other references were excellent and they were one of the lowest bids I received.

Sergio, the foreman and the job was always available. Tony checked on the job and progress. Guys cleaned my yard with a metal detector to find dropped nails! Great job & attention to detail!

This company is fantastic! This was a difficult time emotionally for me - realizing my dad wasn't as capable as I had thought - and not only did Tony, Bo and the entire crew see to my construction needs but they were so kind and sympathetic and understanding that they helped me in other ways as well. They helped me make decisions about discarding ruined/sentimental items, suggested some things I could do to avoid further problems, etc. Their work was flawless. Ironically, the whole house was destroyed a few months later by "Superstorm" Sandy! We thought we might need to hire someone for demolition and immediately called on Double R. Tony came right out and, once again, lent a sympathetic ear and made suggestions of what we could do. Ended up selling property "as is" so WE will probably not need their help again but YOU should hire them without hesitation!

The work was fine. They were very personable and friendly. It was a good experience. The only think I wish was they had done was ask me if I wanted it hard wired or not. That was the only downside. It was installed well and everything was timely. They were punctual and polite.

He does seem very professional. He was very flexible. When I told him about my budget constraints, he was able to eliminate the nonessential items and made it very easy to work around my budget.

Beginning to end this was a great project. I liked Tony from the first time we met. I instantly felt that he "got" me and what I was looking for out of the job (wanted it to look like high-end wood shakes and custom and fit in my neighborhood where siding is rare). It was clear he wanted to the job too, but he never pressured us. He stayed in touch in an unobtrusive way while we made our decision offering help where he could. His price was in line with several other firms but I chose Double R because of Tony, because it's a family business where I felt like this job would matter to them and that they'd really go out of their way to do an amazing job, which they did. The job ran a little longer than quoted but seeing how much prep work went into to doing it over stucco I wasn't surprised or angry. I'm glad they took their time and did it right. Our foreman was Sergio, he was outstanding too. He answered any on-site questions I had and involved me in decision making as the job progressed. All in all we are thrilled with how it came out and can't leave the house w/ out getting a compliment from a passerby. The only negative in my mind is that the front door area didn't come out as cleanly as I would have liked. They had to work around some stair railing that was close to the house and lots of roof angles and such. Since it's the first thing people see and they're close up to it it kind of bums me out but all in all, it's fantastic. It really looks like a brand new house. Oh, also, we had one small issue come up with some minor damage as a result of their work but they were responsive and the issue was fixed. It didn't blemish anything in my mind. I was very pleased from the start. The owner, Anthony, was very knowledgeable and was able to explain the job from start to finish. I was very pleased with the crew and the wonderful work that was done. I have gotten many complements on the finish job.
