Tl;Dr… this company is shady, they will lie, treat you with disrespect, and WILL NOT finish the job. I recommend you to not trust anything Tom or anyone here says to you and find someone else. ——— Target Pest Control is NOT to be trusted. I am hopeful that my experience is an anomaly, but the way this company treats their customers is not ideal. To even get ahold of anyone here, you need to call an “answering center” that only takes your info and says the “office will call you back”. The office ignored most of my calls after I became a customer. After waiting a couple days (although I made it clear the item was urgent), the exterminator comes out and does a shady job. They were late, never called when on the way (as promised), and they did not exterminate properly and thoroughly. The exterminator seemed to be a novice that was unable to answer any questions. Following this, they said the issue will be mostly resolved in a few days. A week later, the issue was not resolved… it was back to square one. After multiple non returned calls, and repeated false information, I am finally told they’ll come back (8 days later). During that trip, the exterminator failed to call day of and de-prioritized the work. He ended up being hours late, then 45 mins to the last promised time… and then NEVER showed up. This is after multiple false statements made via phone. I would not recommend this company. They’ve caused costly construction delays, stress, and treated myself and my partners with complete disrespect.

They arrived right on time. Service representative was highly efficient and professional. Wasps were completely eradicated with a single treatment.

Bill came out on a Sunday. He was very professional and explained the background to my problem and what he planned to do very thoroughly. The treatment he performed worked perfectly.

I wasn't at home when they did the work, but everything seems to have turned out well. They left me a bill as promised, and I haven't had any bee problems since their treatment.

We started with Target several years ago after yellow jackets had eaten thru the drywall and invaded our house on a Saturday. Target came out the same day and took care of the problem. We have used them ever since. They do a treatment in the Spring and will come out as often as needed the rest of the year to re-treat problem areas for no additional cost. For us, they usually do not need to come back more than once (usually late summer) and there is no hassle at all. Always professional and courteous.

The guy who came out was fantastic. We had a bee problem and he came out and explained exactly what he was doing. He was very thorough and he told us exactly what he was putting on and how long it would take to control the bees and it worked out exactly as he said that it would. He was very professional and very effective. He came out right away. In fact, I told my neighbor that this spring we are going to have the guy come out to do both of our houses. His price was good and he was right on time. I was there when he did the service and he did not need to wear the big bee things and the suits but he had the equipment to get up into the eaves of the house and he took some effervescent that he had which I have never seen before but it all worked.

The service went very well. They were prompt and they were successful in their treatment. I was very satisfied.

Target returned my call promptly to provide an estimate and set up an appointment for three days from the call. They mentioned that they had 24-hour emergency service, but that it would be more expensive, and they told me what to watch out for to determine whether I needed to have them come out right away. They came when they said they would, did the work promptly and checked the exterior of the house for other signs of infestation. The bill was what they said it would be. They said the activity should did out within a couple of weeks, and if it didn't, to call them back to come out and re-treat. After my initial call, my next door neighbor was stung badly by hornets in a nest in her front bushes. I suggested that she contact Target and see if they could take care of her problem while they were at my house. She did so, and they fixed her problem while they were out.

Brett Lalonde showed up at the house at about 10am as scheduled. He called just before arrival to let me know he was on the way. When he got here, I showed him where the nest was. He suggested the kids and I stay in the house while he sprayed although he didn't think they would be near us. It was great that he was concerned about our safety. He sprayed the side of the house multiple times. He said if there was still activity in 6 days, he would return and respray. He said it was guaranteed until January (I think). He said it was the peak season of activity and also suggested the plants so close to the house attract bees toward the house which validated why we wanted to move the plants away from the house. We would definitely call again.

Nest gone and if the bees come back we will call Target pest control again.

Went well, came to house, did the work.

Bill came out and explained the whole procedure and three step process to us. They were very professional. When Steve came out he explained each step in detail of what he was doing. They said that if there were anymore issues a week to two weeks later to call them back. We called them back and they came out immediately and took care of the issue. They are very good and we would suggest them to anyone else.

Their service may be fine but it is just putting a band aid on the problem. I have lived in the same area for 20 years. The trap that we have was built on an apple orchard. It is very hard to get rid of the bees in this area. I could not recommend them because the problem has not been cured.

Joe finally solved my problem that had been going on for a month. Service was good for a year. I had to call late spring for bees that had returned and they came right out to spray for free. They found the location where the bees were getting my house. Solved my bee issue.

They were super easy to schedule with. They were cheaper than everyone else. They did a great job. I talked to other companies that wanted to come out for a consultation but Target didn't have to come out and do a consultation, they just came out and did the job and I liked that.

For the bee problem they did a very good job. I would use them again if i had a bee problem. However for the mouse problem I was not as satisfied: They were punctual and provided baits, however when I called on the phone I asked about the extent to which they would identify mouse entry points and such andhelp to seal, or at least advise on where to do so. I was led to believe that they would try hard to carefully locate thesepoints and advise. But neither of those latter two things were really provided to my satisfaction--there was a somewhat casual look around and casual suggestions but it was not really a serious look for entry points. Many months later I was able to reorder the baits by other means myself and instead of putting the baits all around the house. I still haven't found where the mice were getting in but found a localized spot to replenish the baits which has stopped the problemfor many months. I do need to find someone to provide a better search for entry points which I have not been able to locate myself.

Be prepared to have a second visit, it is not uncommon. The service is quick, in and out in less than half an hour. You will need to leave the area closed off for a couple hours where they spray.

It went fine. The nest was removed, the live bees killed and cleaned up.

Excellent experience with Target / Steve Griffin. On Sunday morning came out of the shower to a room of yellow jackets (moisture in nest created a hole in the drywall ceiling). I called Target Pest Control, got the in person answerng service and was called back by Steve within 20 minutes.He came as soon as he completed the job he was on. Within in 30 minutes of arriving he was packing up - problem solved.Work was done quickly, professionally with all remants of dead bees cleaned up. Extermination is guaranteed . The best news was that there was not an up-charge for Sunday work.

It's a local company here in Salinas. They were friendly and their turn around was really quick. They were punctual. They explained everything that they were going to do very well. Overall, they were great. Their price was good. They were half the price compared to another company that I had called. I would use them again in the future.

They are excellent. They come exactly at the time they say they would come. They price is very competitive. They are very thorough. Once they do their routine pest control for the year, they do a routine spray. If I have any pests come back that they spray for, they come out and take care of it free of charge. It is a father and son business. They have different offices. They will tell you the office closest to you. I spent $238 for the last service. I have been using them for eight years now. I have had them back twice for an issue, four years ago. They did not charge me for it. I will continue to use them in the future.

They come out on a monthly basis. They are very responsive and very helpful. We live on an acre of land close to a river. When the river comes up critters come out of it and across the road to our area. A couple of times they have told me when they would be here to lay out a rat trap. They come out when they say they would, and do a good job.

They were great about coming out to take care of my little bee problem, A return visit was needed but again, they came right out and there was no additional charge. Helped me understand the problem, too.

I called on a Monday afternoon, and Steve came out on a Tuesday morning. He was knowledgeable and professional. He arrived on time and looked at outside entry point and found nest easily based on inspection of outside cable entry and inside basement corner. He injected poison into nest and fogged basement. He explained that, unlike a bee hive, not to remove nest as it would crumble and cause problems. He replaced ceiling tiles and was tidy.
