Vague written estimates on work and cost of materials to be performed. Doe does not conform to NYS contractor estimate guidelines. His sub contractor did not perform services for the re-roof, according to time and date scheduled and conveyed, job was cancelled by owner. Wasted weeks of valuable time with this contractor

Mr. [Removed Member Name], Let's get the facts straight. You just can't say whatever you want. There is always two sides to the story. I didn't want to respond but it's necessary. I visited your home on three occasions to discuss your bath project because you continually changed the scope of work in the bathroom. Then you added a front door install, replacing and wrapping columns in your backyard and then a roof replacement on a property you owned. You agreed to having the roof repair first before moving forward on the bathroom. We met you to replace the roof and again you changed the scope of work to be performed. My roofing installer and I agreed it was best to part ways with you. I was willing to work with you even with the constant changes, but as our confidence level with you was questionable at best. Also, to be very clear, I have been in business many many years with zero complaints regarding detailed proposals/contracts. I never had the opportunity to write a proposal as there were so many changes to the scope I really never could figure out what you wanted completed. I'm not sure you understood what you wanted completed. It seems this was a failing relationship from the day we met but I kept returning until I couldn't deal with the unknowns anymore. I hope everything worked out. Best of luck to you.
