I met Mike through my general contractor and was happy to have him on this job. Mike is professional and everything on this job went smoothly. Now I have an electrician that I would trust for any job!

Mike is a superb electrician - have full confidence in his work and recommend him without reservations. He does, however, like to write contracts without any details - make sure you understand what you have agreed to.

Shamrock electric has redone most of my house's wiring, during several projects, upgraded it to 200 amps, installed a generator connexion at the breaker panel, and has always been there for large or small jobs. They are always carefully respecting the code and performing very good work, very fast. They have been very flexible and accommodating for all our redesign needs (kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, etc), coming up with innovative solutions, and very carefully addressing all our needs. It's always been a true pleasure to work with them and we are warmly recommending them !!

Ran four lines in difficult locations with no problems. Was able to get into areas I didn't think possible and was able to do all of this without causing a mess to the house or damage to Sheetrock. Great job overall.

Needed an electrician quickly. Called Mike and he was prompt and did what was needed.

Mike arrived on time, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was very helpful when the generator we bought from someone else didn't work properly. When he left it was all working properly. He also helped us with some small things like changing bulbs where we couldn't reach and fixing a couple of wall fixtures that weren't working. He also installed two ceiling light fixtures. My husband and I were very pleased with all the work Mike did for us.

This is not the first time I've had Mike do work on my house and it will not be the last. He always returns telephone call within a reasonable time and if it's an emergency responses at once.

MICHAEL THE OWNER OF EMERALD ELECTRICAL RETURNED MY FIRST CONTACT QUICKLY AND GAVE ME AN APPROXIMATE ESTIMATE FOR THE JOBS WE NEEDED COMPLETED IN OUR HOME. WE SET A DATE AND TIME FOR THE JOB. MICHAEL ARRIVED ON TIME AND COMPLETED THE WORK ON THE FANS THE FIRST DAY. HE RAN THE ELECTRIC TO THE CEILING WITH VERY FEW CUTS TO THE SHEETROCK.. THE POOL PUMP WAS DONE A FEW DAYS LATER AS SCHEDULED IN THE AFTERNOON...AGAIN THE CONTRACTOR ARRIVED ON TIME AND COMPLETED THE WORK..BOTH JOBS WERE NEAT AND CLEAN WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE ELECTRICIAN..MICHAEL WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS,AND PERSONABLE ..WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER FOR OTHER ELECTRICAL WORK IN OUR HOME..

I have to say that Mike is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. Mike always arrived at our home on time and did really great work while he was here. He also left the house clean after each working day, which was appreciated. Mike reviewed my needs for all work and made recommendations based on his years of experience, and together we made the plans that he followed to the letter. Mike's work is exceptional, as is his work ethic. My wife and I were completely satisfied, and we will not use any electrician except Shamrock Electric.

I've used Shamrock to do the wiring for a new bathroom, run an extra line for a gas fireplace, wire the basement when it was finished, and to setup an outdoor lamp. Each and every time they've been very professional and on time. I would highly recommend Mike and he does both small jobs and very large ones. In either extreme he treats them with skill, attention and professionalism. I would gladly hire him again for any future jobs and I recommend him highly.

. All work was professional, on time and clean up was good. Mike provided much needed guidance and responded to my calls.

Our pool needed a new timer and the pool light needed to be fixed. Mike came promptly and solved both problems efficiently and carefully. Mike has been to our house at least five times before. He did all the electrical work for remodeling our kitchen, our bathrooms and our living room. He helped plan the lighting and made improvements to the placement of outlets. (The lighting he suggested for the kitchen made the kitchen look absolutely beautiful.) Mike always came when he said he would. He always completed the jobs when he said he would. He was always cheerful. He worked carefully. It felt like he took care our home the same way that he would take care of his own home. (He even removed the tangle of unnecessary mysterious wires in the basement, left over from the previous owner's projects.)

Mike and his crew were amazing. Very prompt, neat and friendly. Price was very fair and the work was perfect. One of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He even responded to late night emails etc.

Mike Connolly of Shamrock Electric Co. did the extensive electrical work that was required for the major, major renovation to my Stony Brook house; essentially the whole house was renovated: a new kitchen, two and a half new bathrooms, a laundry room, two rooms combined into a master bedroom, new staircase, central AC installed, finishing an unfinished room etc. Essentially the whole house was rewired and all new light fixtures and electrical sockets installed Cable television and internet wires were added to many rooms, two TV were wall mounted. Mike was recommended by my General Contractor: Gary Berman of Grand Improvement and Construction. Gary and Mike have worked together for many years. Mike was frequently assisted by an associate electrician. The work took many days. The electrical work never hindered the progress of the rest of the project. Mike has more than 20+ year’s experience and is a complete professional with very high standards. I can recommend Shamrock without reservation.
