I must share that when you feel comfortable leaving an electrician in your master bedroom alone to do work - that man has to be the consummate professional. Mike has integrity, honesty and hard work at his core. And he is a true gentleman to boot. The fan arrived from Amazon and Mike came to finish the installation. Flawless work - simple and efficient. GREAT work again as he did with all the new high hat installations 2 weeks ago. Brings his own vacuum cleaner to take care of the mess. Just wonderful. And he showed me how to swap my old expensive bulbs on old hi hats with new efficient LED lights (I probably shouldn't say this - sorry Mike). I plan to have him back to hang up a new TV as soon as it's bought. I see lots of ads for TV installers - but here I know exactly what I am getting so why chance the others? Thanks Mike - happy to recommend you 24/7.

Mike arrived on time and got right yo work. He does a great job and leaves everything very clean. We love our new recessed lights! We are very happy with the service! We already requested he come back for more work next week.

Mike showed up on time. Brought 2 colleagues with him to expedite matters - he planned to have only 1. they were here while my painters were also here. Did a FABULOUS job - very careful with detail which made the painters job of spackling easier and quicker. They were very neat - left no mess anywhere. Kept vacuuming every room as they finished so no mess for the painters. Mike clearly cares about his work and is a true professional. We talked about adding one thing that I asked for and Mike said code does not allow this (other guys that came to estimate said sure no problem - we did NOT do it - better safe than sorry). Mike will be back for the ceiling fan now that Amazon delivered it. Happily recommend Mike!!

Michael Connelly responded to my email right away and I explained what needed to be done and he quoted me a price over the phone and we agreed on a time. He had to reschedule to another time that I had put into the email so it worked out. He showed up on time and prepared. Mr. Connelly was able to fix my small jobs quickly. He even had the decora switch with him so he was able to do even a bit more than I asked. He cleaned up after himself and accepted a personal check for payment. I am planning on having him return to put in some bedroom light fixtures.

I called him on a Sunday night and he came to fix the electric the very next morning. This is the second time we used Shamrock Electric and both times he has provided excellent, reliable service.

Michael came today to replace light before the predicted snowstorm for tomorrow. I appreciated the quick response to my call and the great job. Will definitely call him again for other jobs at my house and refer him to friends.

Would definitely use again! Provider was very responsive. We called right before Christmas -- it was not an emergency -- and he apologized, but said he was taking a week off. (Which is fine; everyone deserves a vacation.) However, he told me that he would be back in touch at the end of the week, and sure enough, he called Sunday evening, and was here Monday morning. He was here for over two hours, tracking down the problem; very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very nice.

I have used Mike three times. Each time he returned my call the day I called and set up appointments. He arrived on time and completed what was necessary. It is terrific to find someone so reliable, and who is competent and honest.

My fiancé and I had purchased an old house which was completely redone and needed all new wiring and electric. We hired Shamrock Electric Co. to do all the electrical work in our home. The service was excellent. Mike was always here on time, very pleasant to work with and his prices were reasonable and fair. The work in our home was done perfectly! Everything from soup to nuts was completed to perfection. Inside lighting, outside lighting, outlets, fixtures, you name it. Mike the head of Shamrock Electrical is amazing. Mike has done work for me for the past five years all of the work has been exceptional. He arrives on time, is fair in his pricing and does quality work. Above all he is a gentleman. His workers are polite and they leave the house clean.

Mike did an outstanding job and is very reliable and trustworthy. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and will research information and pricing for parts. We have used Shamrock Electric on other occasions to install motion detectors and a new meter pan and weather head (after Hurricane Sandy) on our home. We contact him for all our electrical needs.

Mike called in advance and gave an estimated time of arrival and an estimated price. He arrived on time and after seeing the room, recommended a different solution (1 high-hat instead of 2). When finished, he made sure the area was clean. We have used him many times in the past and have always found him to be professional and reliable.

We had to wait for our vinyl siding contractor to adjust the mounting blocks to a larger size. Mike had stopped by to advise us on the size mounting blocks we needed. He was on vacation when we were ready for the install, but he called as soon as he returned. The job came out beautiful!!! After our previous experience, we were expecting nothing less. We can't say enough good things about him. He is such a pleasure to deal with. He is conscientious, experienced, kind, polite, neat, and well mannered. Our contractor has been working with Mike at Shamrock for years and he came highly recommended. Mike was great to work with. He explained to us what the job entailed, told us how long it would all take and he went over the location of every light, every switch and every outlet. His attention to detail was great! I had a light outside that kept tripping a fuse. After Mike finished our kitchen he even offered to try and find the source of the failure - at no charge. Very rare in this day and age. I have since referred Mike to my neighbor who was also thrilled with his work. I would hire Mike in a second to do more work here, and I plan on it.

We had both lights out for our in-ground pool. Mike removed both (which was challenging as they were both submerged), and determine one of the fixtures had to be replaced, while the other light just required a new bulb. He ordered the new fixture (which was not a cheap part) and replaced it about a week later. Mike was extremely understanding, professional, and thorough. Would definitely use him again.
