Description of Work: I moved into new home this summer and Mike of Shamrock Electric was so helpful in making it safe. He replaced the electric meter box , added GFI switches in kitchen and bathrooms as well as other outlets, installed new smoke/carbon monoxide alarm and wired new kitchen appliances. Mike is courteous, punctual, neat and a pleasure to have working in the home

Description of Work: Mike was there to set up my multi line cordless phone. Unfortunately, it was so complicated we had to call Headsets.com for technical help. They were no help at all, which was my experience with them as well. Mike spent 2 hours trying to get it right, but couldn't. He refused to charge me even though I offered to pay for his time. Shamrock Electric is a first class company. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Twice we have tried to use them. The first time, they never returned my husband's call. We tried a second time based on their ratings on the list The second time, they did tried to reach us: one week after we called. We had downed wires on our front lawn. We had already contacted some one else from the list who called within 2 hours of the initial call. they gave us an estimate and then did the job before Shamrock contacted us. We called the Monday of Thanksgiving week but there was no mention of being away or not available. Double Pole, who did the work, actually said there might be delay because of promising their workers a long weekend. Thankfully, we had power so we told them Monday would be fine.

Description of Work: They installed an exhaust fan in my bathroom. Mike was a pleasure to deal with.

Description of Work: The general contractor Flanagan Contracting that I hired to remodel my home used Shamrock as a sub contractor for the electrical work. Shamrock installed the electric in the completely remodeled kitchen and bathroom as well as relocating switches and outlets on alternate walls where the walls were removed. He was on time the days he was scheduled to complete the work and worked in a professional manner. He offered suggestions based on his experience when there were questions as to what would work best. I don't know the cost of his work as it was included in the General Contractors total amount and not broken down. I requested a small change of a 220 line outlet to a 110 line outlet for a newly installed gas dryer and he completed the work while doing the other work and charged $108.65 which I thought was fair.
