It went beautifully. I took a chance on someone I didn’t know based on his good reviews and his in person interview. He made me feel like he understood exactly what I wanted, and he made me feel very comfortable and seemed extremely honest. So I had him do my bathroom. He exceeded all my expectations on so many levels. I not only recommended him to several people, but I asked him back to do my kitchen. He did an amazing job. His attention to detail, his skill at doing what he does, his desire to please you, and his ability to be flexible & patient With his customers is unusual in this Day and age. He is a find of a lifetime!

Originally I was happy with michael gillespie's work. A few weeks after the job was completed my lvp floor was lifting. Mike did come back and looked at the floor and showed he left expansion gaps. He said it was a manufacturer problem and he reported it..sent an email to the flooring company and he would make it right. After months of him dodging us we went to thr flooring company where we were told no complaint was made. After his childish and demeaning texts... I told him either fix the floor or I would have to hire someone to fix it. He blamed humidity *in January and ghosted us. I went back to the flooring company who recommended a great flooring guy. He assessed gillespie used the wrong subfloor.. wrong padding and it was not secured properly with gaps... 4500 and we had a perfect new floor and the damage was gone. I talked to Michael's wife.. and she implore me to go through their insurance company. We were denied by them due to the faulty work. After asking for gillespie to make it right.. he stands him on he did nothing wrong.. to sue him. I would like to add gillespie called the new flooring guy .. cursed him out and called him horrible names. He also called the flooring company with the same classless behavior. Stay away from this company!!

Mike Gillespie and his son are the best. Replaced my old wood deck in three days and fixed an outdoor water spigot. Extremely happy with their work. They are both very personable and courteous. You can't go wrong with them doing any work you may need done. Mike's wife, Sharrie, is also a sweetheart to work with. She helps with scheduling etc. Give Gillespie Home Improvement a call. You'll be glad you did.

First of all, the job that they did was amazing! I am particularly impressed with the quality of my bathroom floor after they were done. Not to mention that everybody that I dealt with was just the nicest person in the world. They were fast, and to the entire process was easy and streamlined. I really could not recommend them enough

I was thrilled to find a reliable and handyman! Mike came to my house as scheduled and was here for about 40 minutes and fixed my pocketdoor and he said free of charge! I was taken back by this generosity but of course I gave him something for his time. THANK YOU MIKE!! You will be my go to guy for any home improvements I need.😊

I was so lucky to find Mike as a contractor! His work was neat clean and beautiful. He was so helpful and paid attention to every detail. He was polite and courteous. I contacted 2 other contractors to see if I would hire them and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. Mike was prompt and called ahead of time to confirm our appointments. His prices are fair and reasonable. He is a credit to contractors everywhere!

This Company was awesome from the start. Responded promptly. Accommodated our request to schedule an appointment in just a few days due to an upcoming surgery I am having. Showed up when they said they would and finished my job in a few hours even though we had a bit of an issue with the toilet plumbing. Mike was a real pleasure to work with. Will definitely use Gillespie's Home Improvement again! No complaints at all.

PLEASE do not contract this company, Gillespie’s Home improvement. Mike is a scam artist and is taking advantage of senior citizens. He claimed that Angi charges him $300.00 to take a negative review off of his profile. He said Angi sends him emails all the time to take negative reviews off. He did work for my husband and I. He did a horrible painting job. When I told him of some of the things that needed fixing, he got insulted. He hasn’t completed the project. When we pointed out errors in his painting his son Mikey replied “we are not painters”. I asked them “Why did you take the job then”? The next day he wanted to get paid in full. I explained to him my husband needs to go over the punch list with him first. He agreed. Now he is lying about doing extra work and is trying to get more money from us without completing the project he was hired for. He did a little electrical work and plumbing work himself when he told me he had a plumber and electrician. He is not a licensed electrician or plumber. Please, please avoid this contractor.

Not easy, but they made it smooth as glass. The Gillespies are a pleasure to work with.

Mike remodeled my kitchen, change the windows, added a sliding door, changed my flooring. He is the best contractor we ever used, shows up every day and works. He has a combination of father and son that is refreshing to see. Sharry held our hands through the whole renovation process. They are the best.

Absolutely fantastic! No problems or issues. Extremely clean work, pleasant and very careful moving furniture out of way and putting it back. Definitely will hire again and again!

Mike is a true professional who really cares about customer satisfaction. His work is top notch, his pricing is fair, and everything is done in a timely manner. He installed a lovely deck for my home, has done roof and floor repairs, replaced doors, and performed numerous other odd jobs around the house. I can count on Mike when I need something done and I highly recommend his services.

Mike did an amazing job with my total bathroom renovation, he ripped out the whole bathroom completely. He also recommended a lot of different options that I didn't think of, it came out beautiful!!! Doing a whole house renovation I used many different kind of companies for different jobs. Gillespie’s I found to be honest and fair. I never felt pressured into doing something. They always worked to keep me in budget and when a hidden issuse came up along the way. I feel I was given options on the best way to fix the problem. I feel Mike was very honest and his and his wife’s communication skills were amazing. I only hired Gillespe’s to only remodel a bathroom. After seeing the work and craftsmanship I decide to remodel my whole house and use their company
