Work was performed by their staff, I was expecting a whole crew and it turned out to be just one guy named Ray! Ray was very nice and did a great job on the refinance. Cabinets look great! Quality seems good too. It's only been done for 3 days so no issues yet. But my experience with Any Style was very good. Do Not hesitate to use them
Description of Work: Had them perform a cabinet reface in my kitchen. Salesman Larry was very helpful and not pushy at all like the Home Depot rep. He made us feel very comfortable and let us take our time, we worked out a pretty good deal and negotiated very little. I prefer that it is just done correctly for a fair price than try to nickel and dime someone til they need to cut corners.

I signed into contract in March 2010. May 2010, Glenn Dowd and his cre came to tear old kitchen out and begin renovation. The first red flag for me should have been when Mike cut a hole in my subfloor in a high traffic area to see what was below. I was home and happened to walk out as he was looking through the hole and he said, "oh you have a basement". I was amazed that he didn't just ask. The subfloor was in poor condition and they said they were going to apply a new subfloor before applying the tile over it, so it wasn't a big deal. They were installing radiant heat and supposed to cut and reroute my current baseboard heat. Instead, they sank the copper pipe and clipped it with fasteners. They applied the radiant heat pex tubing, when they finished for the night, I walked across the floor which was prepared and waiting for the mud floor to be installed the next day. As I walked across the floor, it was very unstable and in numerous areas felt as if the floor was going to give way. I called Glen and he assured me that it was done properly and to trust him. I called my cousin who once did contracting and asked him to please come over. When he got here, he was shocked that they were doing so mnay things improperly. Again, I called Glen an he spoke with my cousin who said this is standard and this is how he does it. The next morning the tile guy came and when he walked across the floor he said there was no way he could apply a mud floor to a floor that is so unstable. He said my tile would crack within the first year if a new subfloor is not applied. We were also informed that if they do not change out the copper baseboard heat pipe, that it would eventually rot below the mudfloor. With much conflict they agreed to chang out the cooper pipe. (After job was complete, I found out that they used a tube that is for how/cold potable water only....it was stated on the tubing that it is not for heating applications.) There was nothing I could do as the mud floor had already been applied. The moved Oven electrical lines, and left electrical wires behind walls that were not accessable. They moved my kitchen sink and used improper sizing on the trap and vent pipe. They did not follow proper electrical or plumbing codes within Suffolk County. They installed cheap under cabinet lights that they cought at homedepot. They cut the wires and hard wired them. Crown molding was installed crooked, ceiling was never fully removed only half, cabinet holes were not propely aligned so shelves do not sit straight and wobble, They were not licensed electricians or plumbers, I could go on and on, but to make a long story short......... I fired anystyle kitchens and took them through Suffolk County Consumer Affairs. They ended up giving me money back and they only got paid $9998.00 for the work they completed. It was a long year process going through the motions of consumer affairs, but they agreed and said that this company proved to only provide me with shotty work. They were unprofessional and showed up at different times throughout the day. Sometimes they only stayed for a few hours. They were here for 3 months and our job was still unfinished. I was never provided with a temporary kitchen sink....the only thing this comapny was very good at providing me with was enormous amounts of stress and aggrivation. Consumer Affairs charged them with numerous violations and a slap on the hand. They should have revoked their license. Before you hire this company be sure to check another kitchen remodel name that once went by called Restyle Kitchens (Their licensed was revoked).
Description of Work: I hired this company to rip out my kitchen, take a wall down, custom make kitchen cabinets, and renovate my entire kitchen from top to bottom. This company was supposed to hire a tile contractor, granite company, plumber, electrician and someone to install the radiant heat for the entire area that tile was being added into. He only subcontracted a tile company and a granite company. The owner Glen and his men all did the work and not in a professional manner or to the standards that any homeowner would accept.
