Tried to get them out for an estimate in the fall of 2016, repeated phone calls not returned, finally got the estimate and after paying a $200 deposit in December (I think) best they could tell us was they would be out to do the work in late May, repeatedly called in May, couldn't give us a specific date, promised to give us at least a week notice. Called on Monday May 23 said would be there Tuesday at 8 am, my wife had to go to her boss and switch days off so she could be home, 8 am Tuesday they were a no show, at 10 am wife called "Sorry got tied up on another job, will be there at 2 p.m.", 2 p.m. no show again so she calls them again and this time wants our money back they promise that they will be there by 4:45 p.m. my wife tells them this is your last chance, now it should be noted that my wife works day shift and is normally home by 4 p.m. So now she lost an entire day for nothing. Well they showed up at 4:45 p.m. with one crew and started working on the windows, two more crews quickly appeared and they completed the job in less than an hour the workmanship is outstanding and the windows are excellent It's just their customer service needs a lot of work, I don't think I will use them again I don't know maybe if I need a single window replaced I might give them another chance.

Called for an estimate and no one called back for a week and a half, was at work when they did call so they left a message, called the office several times with no result estimate guy is always out of the office and booked, apparently making a phone call is not possible so going with a different company and won't deal with them again, terrible customer service.

The rep came to house measured for a replacement window. He listened to how we wanted it installed, made recommendations and finalized the estimate on the spot. We paid deposit. When the window was manufactured two workers came to our house and removed the old window and installed the new window and outside trim. Everyone we dealt with was professional and very accommodating and nice. They did an excellent job. Years ago we hired another construction firm in the Ithaca/Cortland area to replace/install 9 windows in our house (with trim). After having S Seneca do our kitchen window, we wished we had looked into hiring S Seneca to do the work instead - the work could not compare to the quality or appearance of S Seneca's workmanship. Would definitely hire S Seneca again; have recommended them to others.

Workers were very punctual and courteous. They worked very efficiently but did not rush to finish job.

They were fantastic. The old metal Pella windows were very heavy and tough to remove. The fellows were very courteous, and worked like beavers. BEAUTIFUL interior finishing with natural wood. Composite wood outside for beautiful and maintenance-free finish. It was so nice to hear them chatting in Pennsylvania Dutch as they worked -- no smoking or cussing, just 3-4 hard working very nice fellows doing what they love.

They needed to be paid for half the product before the windows were either done, which was kind of a hassle, but other than that it had been pretty good. Other than that there have not been any issues.

The estimator answered all my questions, and was prompt. He gave me a quote on the spot. The installers were friendly and polite. They got the job done in much less time than I would have expected, and the crew did a great job, leaving not a trace of debris inside or out. Thorough caulking. I'd had my downstairs windows done about 10 years ago by Home Depot, and there was no comparison with the quality South Seneca provided - 100% better on everything.

They did a stellar job. They were very responsive. The work was completed in a day. The windows are fantastic and have cut our heating bills substantially.

The pre-purchase experience was very good and the windows are really nice. They were punctual and responsive. The only thing that was not great was that the installers seemed to rush a little bit and did not take a lot of attention to the fine finishes -- I had to point out a couple spots that had not been caulked enough or had gobs of caulk. Also, they were not going to take the stickers off the windows or clean the windows up at all before leaving. They did a good job, but their initial pass at it was not the attention to detail that I expect. In the end, they made it right before they left, but the installers did not seem real happy that I was asking them to touch things up before leaving (did not really argue, but certainly looked annoyed). I would use them again for all the positives. I will just be sure to inspect everything before they leave to be sure it meets my high standards.

Initial contacts and end results were positive. However, the measurement of the window was off by 6 INCHES and they did not discover this until they had destroyed my old window! So, I was left with accepting a smaller window or dealing with a gaping hole in the side of my house until they were able to make a new window. I opted for holding them accountable for providing me with a replacement window that was the same size as the window they'd removed. Unfortunately, the 1st replacement window was broken when it arrived. So, it took several weeks before they were able to get back to install the correct window. In this time, the weather had turned and I had very cold air blowing into the house around the too small window they had jury rigged into place for the interim. In the end, I am pleased with the window and the work that they eventually completed. However, the experience was a frustrating one.

I was very pleased with the service. They are very fast - had all the windows installed in a day. The quality of the windows is good and I have not had any problems with them since they were installed. I have used them to replace windows on two other houses and would definitely use them again.
