If you need any type of tree removal or any trees cut I would highly recommend Rick and his crew. Thank you so much for the beautiful job you did at our home.

+ -1 moreHad Rick give me an estimate about 18 months ago to remove a dead tree in my back yard, at the time he gave an estimate of $3,000. At the time I didn't have him do the removal. Called him this year, he did the removal the 3rd week of June. He kept the estimate he originally gave me 18 months ago. His crew did a fantastic job, all debris removed, other than the stump the yard is as clean as could be. I'd definitely hire him again if needed.

+ -1 moreForest tree in front yard had a largebroken limb hanging down. They brought in a large crane and lowered the worker down through the top of the tree. He trimmed and removed dead branches in addition to the broken limb. There were five workers on site for an hour and a half. All of the trimmings were removed and ground up. The yard was cleaner afterward than when they started.

It was hard to tell that they were here other than the absence of the trees. There was no damage to the house or the lawn. Overall, they did an excellent job.

I accepted his quote and he said he would contact me within 10 days and I agreed. I came home one day and the tree is gone and it was beautifully done, five days later the bill is available.

+ -1 moreOverall, it went very well. He arrived on time, went right to work and was done very quickly. The yard was very clean when they finished and looked as if they had not been there at all.
Description of Work: Rick came to our house on 8/29/12 and gave us an estimate to remove a row of trees that were near the house and leaning on some power lines. He gave us an estimate of $600. He arrived on 8/30/12 with a crew and was here for an hour and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He did an excellent job of cleaning up after himself and was very professional. He wanted to charge us less than what we were originally quoted, but we were so happy with his work that we paid the full price. We would highly recommend him to anyone else.

+ -1 moreA rep came sooner than I wanted...I was glad or else I'd procrastinate. I called at night; he was there the next morning. I called 2 other companies on Angies list and it took way more time to even set up an estimate because they never returned a couple of calls. The removal was scheduled within 5 days. They came with a 5-man crew, and found the job harder than they thought--but did the job for the agreed price and didn't moan and groan about it. They cleaned up perfectly, were gentlemen, very professional and hard-working--all 5 men were doing something. They also gave us hints on what bushes to replace them with.You are CRAZY if you don't use them!

I went with another company because they had a little bit better pricing, so I went with the better pricing and they did a nice job as well. He showed right up, right on time and when he said he would come and he was very prompt.

+ -1 moreWe contacted Rick in late August and within a week had a visit. A quote was recieved within another week. We accepted 60% of the proposal as the other two trees are on the exact property line and contacting the owner has been difficult. But it took at least 5 weeks for them to show up. When they got her the job only took 4 hours and was done well and they cleaned up great.
Description of Work: Removed dead limbs from 2 large maple trees. Installed cables to hold the large limbs together in 2 trees.

+ -1 moreOverall I was very happy with the service Rick performed and he went above and beyond what I expected at a cost lower than what I was expecting to pay.
Description of Work: I called Rick and scheduled him to come and give me an estimate on removing an ~18" around tree that was hanging over my neighbor's garage. He was available a few days later, so scheduled it as such. Rick never showed up, and an hour later I called him. Apparently he had "written down the appointment in his other book", and forgot about the appointment. He came the next afternoon to give me a quote, and said he would be able to take it down the following morning (I think to make up for his first mistake). He gave me a great quote which included taking the tree down, but I told him I would do the removal myself to keep the cost down. He also took down a couple high stumps to near ground level for the same price. By the time I walked outside to go to work the next morning, the tree was down and completely chunked up, both the stumps were brought down and he was packing up to leave. He did a great job especially working in such a tight area between my neighbor's fence and garage, and was very polite and professional. He made a mistake the first time around, but I'm glad I stuck with him!

+ -1 moreRick came and acessed the situation on time and was very courteous. The next day he was at my house with the crane and his partner on time and made fast work of the project. They protected the grass when putting down the outriggers by putting down plywood first. Cleanup was not part of the deal I negotiated in order to save myself some money. Though , while Ricks partner waited after the job was finished for Rick to come back from another quoate he had moved onto he helped us drag brush to the curb ( and there was alot ) , he didn't have to do that, but he's old school and I like that. All I can say is amazing service.
Description of Work: I had 5 medium size trees taken down that were in close proximatey of my house and my neighbors garage. One had broken off in a storm and was laying on my roof.

I had one tree that was particularly difficult to get to since it was on the side of a lake, down a steep hill. Rick was able to take it down and did not leave a single mark on my lawn where the heavy equipment was! I highly recommend him!!
Description of Work: I had approximately 30 trees taken down and other trees where I had the lower branches trimmed off.

+ -1 moreThis company was on time both for their on-site quote and the tree removal itself. They put protective covers on the front lawn so as not to harm the grass. They cut the tree in sections, securing each level of tree, and then raised it over the house roof and into their truck used to haul it away. Every aspect of this job was professional. They cleaned up all the debri and left the property just as it was when they arrived, minus the 40 year old pine tree.
Description of Work: Large pine tree removal. The area was not accessible to their large equipment so they had to remove the tree from the front yard and over the roof of the house. They could not fit their stump grinder into the back yard through the small garage door so had to cut the stump as low as possible.

+ -1 moreThey are so good that even when they bring in a 70 foot bucket. They do not even leave footprint on your lawn. You can't even tell they were there. There is no residue, no sawdust, or anything They are not cheap but they are terrific.

+ -1 moreAfter our initial call, he inspected and estimated the job the next day. His crew arrived to do the work the following morning. They performed their work quickly and cleaned up the front yard so well, that you would never have known there was a problem.
Description of Work: Large portion of nice old soft maple tree fell in front yard during wind storm. We wanted to save the tree, so Mr. Turk suggested a cable be installed to stabilze the remainder of the tree. His crew removed the damaged portion, shaped and cabled what was left and the tree has survived subsequent storms.
