BUYER BEWARE!!! My husband has been shopping around for a pool. Today we had Swim King Pools come by to give an estimate. This experience went wrong very fast. As I was in the kitchen I heard a light tapping sound like pebbles hitting a window. I went to look out my front window to see a man standing in my walkway. I opened the door and said “the doorbell is right here”. I figured if he’s getting the job he should know how to get our attention. He responded, “well most doorbells don’t work”. I was immediately confused and asked him to repeat himself, which he did. I responded, again confused “who has a doorbell that doesn’t work?” He then asked with a nasty tone “is there a problem?” At this point I’m flabbergasted. This man is at my door to get me to sign a contract between $30,00 and $50,000. Still confused I responded, “I’m telling you there’s the doorbell so you’re not standing there” he resplied “I’d just call the number and tell him I’m outside”. I then asked him “is there a problem” in which he responded “if it’s going to be like this then yes!” At this point I realize what’s been said and his tone and quickly became unconfused. I called my husband to the door and told him what happened. When my husband went outside he quickly changed his tone and said “she got upset because I knocked on the door so I apologize. I didn’t know it would came to this”. He lied! Nothing close to an apology came out of his mouth. My second mistake was calling the office to inform them about the situation. The woman who refused to give her name but said she’s a clerk in the office made the following statements: “oh, I find that hard to believe; people love Malcolm Gonzalez; he’s been with us over twenty years. That’s what you said happened”. Needless to say, the nameless clerk confirmed that I made the right decision in turning his away. I’m not in the business of paying for disrespect. And the gentleman who visited my home today came with a double dose.

Staff was attentive and very helpful. Mark was amazing and went above and beyond to help us at any time! Would highly recommend them!

The entire job was executed virtually seamlessly. All aspects of the installation - from our first meeting with their very personable "front man" Scott, to the design team, the Bobcat's first mouthful of earth, and later dimensions of the job including masonry, electrical work, carpentry, landscaping, and fencing by their recommended crews - were handled totally professionally in this "soup to nuts" experience. The end product is beautiful, and we look forward to many happy laps!

We hired Swim King for our pool after interviewing the local companies and are totally satisfied with our purchase. They know their business well and did an excellent job on everything. Luke was our salesman and I found him to be patient and knowledgeable, and the foreman were friendly and helpful. From start to finish they worked fast, hard and neatly. You will not believe how fast your pool will be completed. Their guys are very good and very hard working. We felt we got the best pool and value from them and highly recommend.

Everything was awesome! Malcolm was the best! Pool is 36 (w) x 48 (L) yes it look like lake Ronkonkoma in my backyard!! lol. Both patios were done about a week earlier than expected with no issues. When i was being taught about the system and how to work everything Raul was great at setting it up but not great on explaining it to me. He also was very confused about the electric heat pump and how it worked. The other issue was that the Heat pump was busted with a bad coil from the factory. Swim kings got on top of it and the entire unit was replaced in a few days. With that said it was very minor stuff and all rectified asap! the total cost has all the work included, electric, heater salt water unit, pump and stone work.

They did a great job. Very courteous and prompt in returning my calls. Price was lower than other quotes I got. High quality cover.

The systematic approach to the pool installation is top notch. We were very impressed with the speed and quality of work from the dig to the stonework. However, there were some hiccups along the way (communication between teams that led to errors) some minor, some major, but the company always made good by it and addressed it professionally. The salesman can be cocky at times, but always did the right thing in the end. We continue to find the service people very knowledgeable and helpful. If I had to put in another pool I would go back to Swim King, the prices were competitive, the workmanship phenomenal, and the service staff very professional.

Swim King exceeded my highest expectations. The entire project was completed flawlessly. They have converted our backyard into our family resort that our grandchildren will enjoy for many years to come. They have proven their motto of "from permit, to pool, to patio to perfection". Everything went excellent, I was very happy with the results.

My experience with swim King was by far the most positive I have ever had with a contractor. Malcolm, our salesman went over everything step by step and there were no surprises. He never tried to talk us into anything and had great ideas when we needed them. From our first meeting with him he was extremely accessible by text and cell phone. Our permit process was very involved since we live near a wetland and everyone at swim king was very patient and helpful. The pool was installed in a little over 2 weeks and it looks amazing. It's going to be a great summer.

Every step was easy and smooth, from scheduling the first appointment for a sales rep to come to the house, installation, minor leak in the pool liner was fixed within 1 day, service and any questions I had about maintenance. My husband and I decided to install our pool prior to Hurricane Sandy. After signing the contract we thought our installation would be understandably delayed quite a bit due to Hurricane Sandy. Swim Kings crew arrived on the scheduled day at 7:30am ready to start digging. The entire process took 3 weeks. Randy, the owner even showed up and stayed for four hours taking pictures of the pool process to send to other pool builders in Arizona. Pat the foreman was always on site supervising. Colleen who manages the office was always prompt returning calls and fixing any issues or concerns. Fantastic team, and smooth installation for such a major project. I highly recommend. They are pros at what they do.

Excellent process from start to finish. We worked with Luke. He was extremely helpful both on the phone and at our house during the process of determining what type of pool we'd want. He supplied a and quot;templateand quot; (full sized tarp shaped like the pool we liked) so my wife and I could move it around in the backyard and figure out the best location and layout of the pool. The rest of the team (sales, contruction, etc.) did a great job. All around, a great company that I'd highly recommend.

From the initial meeting with our salesman Malcolm to the start up lesson with Raul the Swim King team has been amazing. They were available every step of the way and ensured that the process went smooth. From design, to permitting process, to construction and to start up, this company is first class. I interviewed four different companies, Malcolm from Swim King was first in and set the bar high, they couldn't be touched. It is very apparent that customer service is important with Swim King and as a customer it is very appreciated. The service I get from Koleen and other fine people in the office is truly a pleasure. If your looking to have a pool installed don't hesitate to call them in for a consultation. THANKS SWIM KING!!!!!

It's a very un-reputable place and the work was disaster. They put the pool in and it cost me about $5000 to fix the yard for the damage they done. The pool and the ladder wouldn't pass code, but they wouldn't come out to fix that. I told them about the ladder because the ladder wouldn't pass code and the code enforcement office said they had to fix it, but they wouldn't fix it. I ended up in an argument with them and I turned around and walked out of the store. We walked across the parking lot and he just got out of the store and wanted to fight me.

Swim King was thorough and professional but their price was a higher than competitors.

They were reliable and on time. They returned phone calls and the administrative staff was pleasant. I also liked the fact that they are local.

The pavers were installed without regard for the existing grading. The property never had a water drainage problem until the pavers were installed. With the pavers installed, there is a large area which fills with water and will not drain. Even a 1/2 inch rainfall results in dozens of pavers being underwater. There is no place for the water to go and the puddle remains for days. The way the grading was changed left the pavers lower than the surrounding grade and there is no place for the water to drain. I have made several calls and they are usually not returned. Last week someone did come and promise to correct the problem on Monday. Monday has come and gone and I am tired of making calls and getting no results. I have taken pictures and sent them to the company. This has been going on for almost two months. I went with this company because I thought they had a good reputation and I wanted to have an aggravation free experience. I might add that clean up has been a do it yourself project. I have spent many hours cleaning up the mess left after the work was completed. I don't know what their take is on the cause of this problem because they don't return calls. The quality of work on the pool itself is unknown...the pool won't be open until June and I am hoping that there is nothing else wrong at that time.

This project was an absolute pleasure, thanks to swim king. I can not say enough about the quality of design, work and employees of this company. I did a lot of research before choosing Swim King and interviewed many of their competition. Swim King was not the lowest bid, however, I truly believe we got what we paid for. It is evident that this company cares about the quality of their work and the outcome of their jobs. They communicate with each other so that the pool construction and hard/landscape construction is seem less.

Swim King Pool did a very professional job for us. When problems arose, they were handled immediately. He did give us an estimate on the cost and charged what he had estimated. Our pool and patio turned out wonderfully.

THEY COME HIGHLY RECOMENDED. THE SALES REP WAS ONSIGHT AND HANDSON THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. I THINK THEY ARE PHENOMINAL. THE SERVICERS WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO ALL QUESTIONS, CALLS AND CONCERNS.

SWIM KING POOLS DOES A GREAT JOB. THEY HAVE A GREAT PRODUCT, AND WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY OPEN AND CLOSE MY POOL EACH YEAR. IF I EVER HAVE A PROBLEM, THEY NEVER MAKE ME WAIT.

SWIM KING PUTS OUT AN OUTSTANDING SALES PRESENTATION PACKAGE. THERE IS NO HIGH PRESSURE TO BUY. THEY REALLY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COME RIGHT AWAY IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM.

THE FINAL PRODUCT OF THIS PROJECT WAS OUTSTANDING. SWIM KING ANSWERED ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS THAT I HAD. I AM MORE THAN HAPPY WITH THE JOB THAT THEY DID.
