Richard was the first to call me back and give me an estimate, which was the lowest of the 4 people I called. He showed up exactly when he said he would. He was professional and friendly. He did the door bell replaced in no time at all. It took him longer than expected to do the GFI's as he didn't know he had to cut all the formica around the 3 existing outlets. He never complained or asked for more money. He did an outstanding job and not only would I use him again, I will certainly recommend him to all my friends and family!

RK Electric came out and gave me a bid that was well under $200.00 that others were estimating to charge me for the project being in a crawlspace. Not only did they offer a good price but Tim arrived early, was quick, friendly, and cleaned up after himself. He even noticed a fairly questionable outlet in the garage that he replaced for free! To be fair he was able to use the outlet to wire into the crawlspace rather than cutting a new hole (saving him some work), but to leave it nicer than he found it was a huge show of his professionalism. I'll definitely keep RK Electric in mind for my future projects.

We called RK, after reading the positive reviews on Angie's List, to handle the electrical part of our kitchen refurbishing. An estimator came first to talk with us about the job. Our electrician came on time, with an apprentice. All the work was done in about four hours, cleanup was thorough, and everything was handled extremely well. It all works and looks just as it should. Just a couple of glitches. The apprentice turned off a circuit that goes to our home office without warning, turning off my work computer in the process. Everything lost was recoverable. Second, when removing a bit of drywall to string a heavy duty wire to the box, the drywall piece broke, and we now have a hole in the wall. Easily patchable, I hope. Finally, we weren't given a copy of the final receipt.
