LOU'S ROCKY POINT UPHOSTERERS

Lou and family reupholstered a hardly ever used "leather" sofa-bed that I got from Jennifer Convertibles about 10 years ago. The bonded leather material was actually flaking off, and the couch looked awful, despite the fact that it was used very rarely. Every other furniture shop I contacted told me to ditch the sofa and buy a new one. Lou understood my desire to keep the sofa, and even though the cost to reupholster it was more than double what I originally paid to purchase it, I now have a virtually new sofa in the color and style that I want with a good quality vinyl material that looks just like leather. My only complaint (and a very minor one) is that, if you want to pay via credit card, you have to physically be at the shop once the job is completed, as Lou will not take your number over the phone. If you're not local to the shop, it can be an inconvenience, but for the workmanship and professional nature of Lou and his family, it is worth a couple of trips.

Used my very odd choice of fabric and did a great job. Still holding up. Great pick-up and delivery. Perfect quality. Good upholsters are hard to find. PLUS I just phoned about another project I have in mind and got a ball-park quote within 5 minutes. This is a class operation!

The project went smoothly, quickly and was free of problems. Lou was professional, courteous and easy to work with. We had a large upholstered leather club style chair with a worn and cracking seat cushion. I asked Lou if this could be reupholstered in a matching faux leather that would also coordinate with a twin chair. With the two cushions in hand, he found the perfect material. Within a week the work was completed and I had a new seat cushion that fits perfectly into the chair and the room. I would definitely recommend this establishment. I plan to work with Lou's Rocky Point Upholsterers on future projects.

I really really love them. They are extremely professional and their prices are not bad at all. They have so much experience and they pretty much can do anything.

The trip from the Huntington area was well worth it. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner of the company. They were patient, the pricing was fair and there was an extensive choice of fabrics. The chairs were picked up on a Saturday and delivered back to my home on the following Saturday, as promised. The quality of the work done was excellent and I would definitely use them again.

They pick things up and deliver it on time. They are very good and very inexpensive. I have used them several times, but I haven't for a couple of years. They do beautiful work.
