+ -1 morePool pump died right before we went away in the middle of the hot summer when we were about to go away and our regular pool guy was going away too! Adrian was a godsend! He advised me what to get, where to get the pump the cheapest, and came in a couple of days to install it. If it wasn't for him, our pool would have gone black in a matter of days! So glad we found him and will definitely use him again.

+ -1 moreExcellant!! Adrian arrived when he said he would be there. He explained how he would service the pool and an estimated time when he would be finished. He did exactly what he had informed me he would do when he arrived at my house. He was polite, knowledgable and reasonably priced.
Description of Work: I needed a power vac. I did not open my pool last year so it was very, very green with a lot of debris at the bottom of the pool.

+ -1 moreI was very disappointed with their work and I still don't understand how how they were paid to maintain the pool and left it in such poor condition. I no longer use them and I wouldn't recommend them.
Description of Work: We retained them to maintain the pool, he worked for us for several weeks when we started to have an algae problem. He said he was cleaning it but the pool was getting worse. He kept saying how clear the water was and it was but the sides of the pool were disgusting.When I called Adrian he said they brushed the pool, the pool walls looked terrible there was algae all over no one wanted to use the pool. Adrian said the algae must have settled, right back where it was???? Anyway he said he would come himself the following week to look at the pool. We couldn't wait a week two days later it was even worse. He shouId have known it was going to get worse quickly and we couldn't wait a week for him. He should have come by the following day. I called another company, Tom of Sherwin Pool I was not a customer but he came the following day and took care of the algae it was gone in 24 hours and 3 weeks later it is still gone.

+ -1 moreHave had other companies do openings, was not impressed. Not bad, but not impressed. Price was slightly slower than other companies, but work was minimal. Did NOTHING wrong, just minimal.
Description of Work: Initial pool opening and vacuuming. 16x32 inground pool with DE filter, Frogger, Loop-Loc, and Polaris Pool Vac.

+ -1 moreExcellent, Adrian was on time explained what he would do and let me know if I had any problems. Adrian folded cover put it in my shed he had taken my filter out of shed and everthing for me went smooth. He now has me as a lifetime client for all my pool needs.
Description of Work: Opened my aboveground pool removed cover set up filter added chemicals. Adrian is knowledgable of all aspects of filter repairs maintenance and keeping you swimming all season long. I would recommend At Ease Pools for everyone with a pool.

+ -1 moreHe complained about everything when he opened the pool. He wasn't clean. For power vacing he sent one guy who overcharged me. Other companies send two guys. It goes faster with two but it's to their advantage to send one guy because they charge by the hour.

Adrian from At Ease provided prompt response, telephone confirmation, and prompt arrival at the appointed time. As we are first time pool owners, he provided information regarding the maintenance of the pool, and respectful of our many other expenses, led us in the most economical direction. Adrian and his assistant were both professional and courteous, and will definitely be called upon again in the spring.

Description of Work: Adrienne and his partner closed our pool and in an hour and a half. They taped off and blew all of the water out of our filter lines as well as covered the pool with the winter cover as well as closing the spa which a lot of other people we called for estimates said they wouldn't do because of liability. They did a good job and seemed knowledgeable.

Adrian and his helper Patrick, came that day; diagnosed the problem; and started work that very same day. They are receptive to phone messages; always return phone calls; and are fair, helpful and professional. They really know their business.

+ -1 moreArrived at 10 am May 27,2008. Got right to work. He instructed me in proper maintenance of filter and told me what problems could arise in the future. He is very knowledgeable and takes great care in his work . His prices were the best out of the three quotes I received. He only charges 130.00 to open or close, 45.00 to clean filter and 50.00 to power vac the pool. Will be calling him for all my pool needs.
Description of Work: Took cover off pool,folded and placed were asked. Cleaned filter, got system running, and added chemicals needed. He then power vacuumed pool.

+ -1 moreAdrian called in March, as promised, to schedule pool opening. Appointment made for May 1. He called a few days in advance to confirm appointment date and time. On the 1st, he called when he was on his way to us. He opened pool ($130.00), looked over the filter, etc. and gave us advice as to how to patch a filter seam leak and noted we might have to replace the pump, but not yet. We asked him to come back to power vacuum the pool, which he did on May 6 (again, on time, with advance call). For this service he charges $50 per hour. He was thorough and also brushed the pool. He never stopped working.

+ -1 moreHe and his co-worker were on time and got right to work. He was professional, efficient and friendly. We needed to replace two "gizmos"; he had one in his truck and installed it at no extra cost. He also waited patiently while we went to buy another. We are new pool owners and had many questions; many probably naive. He was patient and advised us without judgment and guided us as to what we might need to buy in the future, but is not necessary now. He services Suffolk and Nassau Counties in NY and is licensed and insured.
