I could not be happier with the service I received from Kyle and have already hired him for another project! After having my oil company tell me they could not fix my compressor and it would cost $12K to replace it, I went a year without AC in the main section of my house. Out of desperation because my mother was visiting, I reached out for a few more quotes. Kyle was able to fix the problem without having to replace the entire compressor for a fraction of the cost. In addition to that, I asked him to check the Freon levels on the other compressors, which he did and refilled. He was honest with me and did not need to fill one of them, which was great because it required a more expensive Freon. He could have taken advantage of me as a new homeowner like others companies have done, but he didn’t and gained a lifelong client in the process. If you need HVAC work done, give him a call!

You will not be disappointed with Kyle and company. Replaced old AC unit with a new AC/heat pump system. After the deposit Kyle didn't ask for any money until the job was DONE! AND...while other companies jacked up the price for a heat pump system, Kyle was on the nose. You won't be disappointed at all!!!!

Kyle was knowledgeable, courteous, honest and professional. He was able to pinpoint the problem quickly and the repair what was wrong immediately. He had the item needed for the repair in his truck. Highly recommend the company and will definitely be recommending him to friends and family.

Kyle and his team were great! During the estimate he explained in detail what the install would involve and gave us recommendations that best suited our needs. The price quoted was very competitive. The install went well and was finished well within the time frame quoted. Kyle and his team were very professional throughout the process and kept everything very clean, especially while working in the living areas of our home. After everything was finished and cleaned up, Kyle walked us through our new system and all of the features. He was very knowledgable and met all of our needs.

Excellent service on all points. When others didn't even bother to call us back for an estimate, Kyle, the owner, responded promptly, gave us an estimate far more reasonable than the other we received, and installed the unit about a month sooner (on a hot Saturday) than the other company would. Absolute Zero is hard to beat -- don't waste too much time trying to get other estimates (if anyone even bothers to return your call). You will receive that special individualized attention that a small company can provide.

It went very well. Kyle and JB were very professional, showed up on time and Kyle always answered his phone when I called. They were both very knowledgeable and very clean. I would highly recommended them.

My experience with Absolute Zero Air Conditioning & Heating was fantastic. Owner, Kyle, was on site every day and working on all areas of the job. He's hands on and explains the process step by step. Not only keeping me aware of how the job progressed, but educating me as a home owner and customer. I interviewed many companies in my area, and Kyle was one of the few that I could tell was honest and a hard working person. He was also, the ONLY one to go into the attic and examine the scope of work prior to providing me an estimate. This way, there wouldn't be the typical quote on a job and then added billings for items "not included in the estimate" as I have experienced from several others on various improvements. Kyle and his team are punctual, respectful, trustworthy, and an overall joy to be around while they work. The cleanliness of their operation was astounding. When they were done each day, it was like they were never there in the first place. It's refreshing to work with someone and a company that was not trying to sell me what I didn't need. Kyle was the only one to examine all aspects of the system and assure me it could be fixed and that replacement was not necessary. As opposed to all the other typical "salesperson" companies that all called for total replacement. The best part is, the fixed system works better than any house I have been into thus far! The honesty and fair price and hands on work with my new found education and respect for the industry is an experience I will never forget. A repeat call and highly recommended for sure! kyle did an awesome job. he was thorough, honest, and went through all the options with me, and took time to answer all my questions. he was extremely professional and left my house in perfect condition when he was done, even fixed my mail box on the way out!! my new AC works terrific. also, his prices were WELL beneath the other estimates that i got. i will be having some more work at my house done in the future and would definitely use him again.

After doing some research and realizing that $140/lb was too much for R22, we contacted Kyle and requested a partial refund. He made it right, apologized, and refunded us $350 the next day. Kyle replaced a wiring harness in one of our two AC units for $200 and refilled 3.5 pounds of R22 for $140/lb. With the service charge, the total was $720. We're happy the AC is working, but the R22 cost seemed too high and is well above other providers in the area. Just looking at other Angie's List reviews for air conditioning maintenance, we are hard pressed to find other service providers charging $720 for an annual maintenance trip. We are new homeowners and didn't know any better this time, but will definitely call around for pricing in the future.

We contacted Absolute Zero because our furnace had been malfunctioning and we were able to make an appointment with them soon after. Kyle came over and was very professional. He found the problem right away. He was able to get our furnace up and running ASAP. Will use Absolute Zero again in the future!

Amazing. Absolute Zero kept in constant contact on when they would show up. They also showed up before scheduled time. Kyle was knowledgeable and professional. I recommend Absolute Zero with 5 stars. My husband and I were nervous and Kyle set our nerves at ease. He fixed our unit in no time and also taught us a thing or two!

Kyle and his crew of two guys did a new installation of a complete Central Air system in our 50 year old, two story, 4 bedroom colonial. I had three companies bid on the job and Kyle came in with a very competitive bid. Kyle did the proposal, told us exactly what we needed, gave a clear timetable and said that he would be doing the job himself. He went through the house completely to be sure he could reach all rooms with the ducts and assured us that this could be done. One of the bidding companies had a knowledgeable salesman come but it was clear that he would not be doing the actual installing or even be onsite for the installation. Kyle was quickly responsive to every one of my text messages and calls. He was able to do the job in a tight timeframe and showed up when he said he would and worked hard to get the job done as scheduled. The one time he had to be late due to a problem, he texted me to apologize and to let me know when he would arrive. A week after completion of the job, I had one cosmetic issue with the duct work that I wished could be changed. I called Kyle to ask him about it and he got right back to me and came and made the change the next workday. Overall, we were extremely impressed by Kyle's work, his attitude and his professionalism. I have already recommended Absolute Zero to a co-worker. We are loving our new central AC!!!

Kyle was the only one i called on the holiday weekend who could make it there the same day to fix my A/C. He was prompt, and explained everything he was doing. after cleaning the intake grill he checked the refrigerant level and saw that that was the main problem. the majority of the cost was the 5 lbs ohe had to add. A very nice and trustworthy guy. i would definitely use them again.

The owner picked up the phone when I called to explain my problem. Kyle scheduled appointment within two days and called me that morning to let me know what time he was coming. Kyle is very friendly and knowledgeable. He will return in the winter to install a 3 ton unit.

Well when I called I got the owner Klyde ! He was really up and a happy guy and told me he was on a job and would stop at my place on his way back going east ! He then called me to let me know he had another call to take before me on his way to me I did'nt mind because he is trying to please as many people as he can. When he came to my house he right away introduced himself and I explained everything to him and he went right to work ! He had my unit running in 10 minutes and added some freon to bring up the level because it was a little low ! Then he checked the tempreturedifferences between the supply and return air ! He got it to a point where the supply air was 15 degrees lower than the return air ! Done ! And another happy customer ! Kyle is a sole proprietor and he won't rip you off like these big companies ! I really believe I lucked out with Absolute Zero ! Put it this way, if Kyle was really busy and couldn't get to me till the next day I would wait for him ! Period ! That should explain everything !!!

I had about 6 different vendors come out to give me quotes on my A/C replacement. Only half got back to me. I needed help with a prior-existing A/C that needed a re-design (it was just tacked on to the heating system) and needed replacement (it was about 30 years old). As part of this redesign, I was looking for a new A/C system along with new ducts. Not only did Kyle give me a quote when others failed to do so (even after repeated attempts to get them to respond), but his quote was by far lower than anyone else out there who did take the time to respond. The biggest issue for me was that Kyle and his crew took the time to get the job done right. Difficult runs? No problem. Complicated connections? No problem. Hard work? No problem. Large house? No problem. Kyle was recommended to me from a friend in Suffolk county who had Kyle install his A/C. I'm in Nassau and had a lot of trouble finding vendors. Nassau county? No problem. Kyle is great. If your priority is having a job done right by someone who knows what they are doing, I feel that Kyle will get it done better and less expensively than other vendors out there. I asked Kyle to come back to also take care of our furnace. After all these experiences, I feel that if someone if quoting lower than Kyle you probably aren't getting your money's worth. And my contractor feels the same.

After Kyle installed our A/C, we also compared his quote against other vendors for our forced air heating replacement. Kyle came in with a very competitive quote. Based of my prior experience with his A/C install we had no question about hiring him for the heating replacement. He fixed duct work (by crawling in very narrow crawlspace) that I didn't think was even reachable without tearing out the floor. He also installed dampeners, ran new duct work, and re-routed duct work that was misplaced by the original installer. Kyle also helped re-design a number of elements of our heating system and assisted with its efficiency and reach. Our quote from another vendor for new duct work in one room was more than twice that of Kyle's, but Kyle's quote also included insulating crawlspace duct work and connecting a few disconnected vents/ducts.

It went great - for the furnace we had quotes from four contractors. Two tried to sell us a furnace that was larger than what we needed, one recommended redoing our vent system. Kyle gave us excellent advice that aligned well with information from Consumer Reports, a home improvement blog and the furnace manufacturerer. When we decided to add the humidifier, Kyle again gave us advice and got more information from his distributors to answer our questions. I hope I never need to buy another furnace but if I did I would be happy to call Kyle again.

The job went smoothly.mthere were no problems. The owner and his son were friendly and professional. When asked questions, they answered them so that it could be understood.

We first met Kyle when my mother's central airconditioning stopped working. It was a hot spell in the summer. Another repairman came in and said the whole system had to be replaced. We called Sears; they recommended that we relocate the a/c system from the basement to the attic and install all kinds of equipment. It would cost at least $5,000. They delivered the equipment and then contracted with Absolute Zero to install it. When Kyle arrived, he decided to check out the existing system first. Through his own clear common-sense thinking, he opened up the filter and discovered it was clogged with my mother's dog's hair. Completely matted down! He cleaned it out and bingo, the a/c was working beautifully. I am sure Sears was peeved at Kyle for solving our problem, but Kyle is a dedicated and enthusiastic man who clearly loves his work. He realized my mother was on a fixed income and he respected us. Since then he has serviced my mother's and my HVAC equipment whenever the need has arisen. He has worked on my own family's three-zone heating and a/c system, replacing the equipment for one zone. The price is always fair and very competitive. But what my husband and I really do feel is secure. We know he is doing it right and that he will be available if there is any problem. He explains everything he is doing, shows up on time and gets the job done. If you have an HVAC problem on Long Island, I highly recommend Kyle and his team at Absolute Zero.
