Excellent!!! The restoration work was perfect. They matched the color, and replaced the old veneers with new. I am very, very pleased and happy with the job they did. They gave me back a piece of furniture that was just like I remembered it!!! I would recommend them highly, and in a heartbeat!!!

He was very professional, explained exactly what he would be doing. He picked the chairs up and delivered them when done. The work was excellent. The price was a bit high but after a bad experience with another company, I feel the work was worth it.

Frank and his craftsmen restored a 250+ year old antique grandmother saw-back rocker that had broken in a angled corner on the back rail sometime in the distant past. He not only made the repair invisible, he tightened up the spindles, arms, legs and back to once again make this original colonial masterpiece strong and usable. He originally thought two months was about right for us to come back to pick it up from his Oceanside shop, but he called after six weeks to tell us that it was complete. Needless to say, we trusted Frank with our heirloom and he rewarded us with the return of an old friend, now able to seat grandmother and grandchild in historic comfort. Thanks, Frank!

I stopped by the shop and frank said he would be happy to stop by the house and give me an estimate on having the six kitchen chairs repaired - they are old chairs and needed all re-glueing and one chair even needed two brace pieces replaced, that being said I found the price way out of range - 300.00$ per chair - I could buy knew ones for much less than that - Frank was very nice and punctual he came for the estimate at the time scheduled - I was disappointed that Frank had given such a high estimate.

Now, I LOVE it and think of it as a family heirloom to be passed down from generation to generation. | |I will absolutely use him again, next for my childhood bedroom set, and highly recommend him. | |My only warning is to be sure that everything, cost per item and tax is totalled and spelled out on the contract because I ended up being surprised and paying a significantly higher price than I initially thought I would be paying. Still, I am so glad that I had this done!

The first time I used this provider, about 5 years ago, he was excellent. I believe his name is Frank. He promptly came to our home and repaired a piece of teak and glass furniture. He did the work at our home. (A+) After Hurricane Sandy we had damage to a window sill in our home. I have repeatedly called him and asked him to at least come and look at the damage. For over a year, he has told me he is very busy. When I asked him to please just come and look - we are located no more than 10 minutes from his store - he told me he would come the following week. He never showed and never called. He has implied that he is too busy to repair my window sill. I am sorry to write such negativity but I feel I have no choice. (F-)

Our apartment was damaged after hurricane Sandy and our table had water damage. Someone recommended Master of Furniture to us so we called him and he came and gave us an estimate. Our insurance company covered the cost of the repair and he picked up the table and it took him a week to repair it and deliver it to us. It was an expensive table that we loved and when it was returned it looked as if it just came out of the showroom. We were extremely pleased with the work that he did and the service that we received.

It took four and a half years to get my record cabinent back from him before he would return it to me. I never got a phone call from him telling me it was ready for pick up and it was never ready when I called him. Eventually, I had to call him and tell him I was coming to pick it up. He told me it wouldn't be ready for a week and I believe he then quickly put finish on it so that it would be for me ready when I picked up. I am missing the key for it and the insert for holding records.

He replaced the arm of one of my chairs and he did it so well that I cannot tell which arm he replaced. He also fixed a leg on another chair. He was very helpful and explained everything. The chairs are almost hundred years old and he did a very good job and he did more than what I expected.

The work was done perfectly. Our furniture was picked up and delivered back home as promised. The color and finish look beautiful. I don't know how he did it, but you cannot tell that the headboard was expanded even though the trim had complicated carvings. The name of the business says it all, the owner is really a Master of Furniture.
