Having dealt with several home contractors, plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc over the years, Phil stands out well above the field for his professionalism, punctuality, and communication. His team did a beautiful job, but finding a contractor who knows what they’re doing and knows how to manage a client relationship, keeps a tight schedule, shows up on time every day, calls you to check in, provide progress updates, and discusses requirements clearly is a difficult thing. It’s the client service are where G&M truely separates themselves from the pack.

At long last, I found a great contractor. Phil was very responsive to my request for an estimate. He kept me updated throughout the process of ordering the shutters. His two workers were excellent. Phil is professional, courteous, and knows how to treat his customers. I will definitely use him for all future home projects.

Phil was responsive, punctual and professional. The work that needed to be done was on the roof. He explained the work that needed to be done very thoroughly including showing pictures taken on his phone. I had other estimates and found the price quoted to be fair. Phil appeared to understand the problems and proposed solutions that seemed more realistic than other contractors. The work was done as promised. His crew was professional and courteous. This was the first time using G&M, but expect to hire them again.

The workmen were courteous, efficient and neat. Everything went so well that we hired the G & M company again to repair sidewalk and drainage issues. Phil came up with a solution for a problem that we have had for a long while. We were very satisfied with this job as well.

Phil Scilipoti and his crew did a masterful job for us at a very fair price and made it look easy. Not one cracked tile and the vents blend so seamlessly now that it looks as if they've always been there. These guys are true professionals and the only company that I'll be calling from now on.

Phil and workman came as promised, on time, with all needed ladders and equipment. They discovered a disconnect between the inside fan and exhaust duct. They were able to fix this without opening the ceiling and then installed a new exterior vent cover, at the originally quoted price. What a relief! I will be happy to call G and M again.

I was very pleased with the quality of work done. He arrived on time and kept me up to date on his progress. He had to replace the existing box to hang the fan since the original was unsafe. I am very confident in his ability and was happy that he was willing to go the extra mile when safety was involved.

It came out beautifully. The staff and owner were courteous and prompt and i was a pleasure to deal with them. They were also relatively neat on a project that could have gotten very messy.

GM Construction did a wonderful job. We had lots of odd jobs around the house that needed to be done and they did all of them in a very short amount of time. They were also very knowledgable and walked me through everything so that I understood what was being done. I would definitely recommend using them.

We are building a new house in Oceanside and have used Phil for several projects, with more projects to go. He did the siding, stonework, and front pillars on the exterior and it all looks amazing. He installed all our trim and doors on the interior and it is literally top-notch perfect. He also installed our fireplace and surround and it's gorgeous. His current project is grading property and building up a retaining wall int he back (there is a creek behind our property). Phil can literally do it all and do it all well. When my husband and I are stuck with decision making, we rely on Phil's expertise to guide us to an answer. Whenever we present a project to Phil he gives us an estimate quickly and will tackle even the strangest of projects with gusto - for example, our fireplace mantel is an old beam that is slightly twisted. It definitely required some ingenuity when it came to installation and Phil went above and beyond to make it work and the result is beautiful. That's just how he works - he goes above and beyond and everything turns out perfectly.

We are completely ecstatic with our experience with GM Construction Group. We had contracted with GM construction for a complete exterior/interior renovation of our four story building. This included Roofing insulation, siding, painting, kitchens, baths and as well as every window and door. The job was completed on time and within budget every step of the renovation was explained in detail. The staff was prompt, professional and courteous. We could not be more pleased with our experience.
