About us

AK is a full service surveying practice serving primarily Nassau and Suffolk Counties and is conveniently located in the Town of Hempstead and County of Nassau. In addition to the professional licenses AK holds a Certificate of Authorization to provide land surveying services granted by the University of the State of New York Education Department and is fully insured with coverage for Personal and Professional Liability. AK’s principals have over fifty combined years of surveying experience holding licenses dating back to September of 1982. As many of the learned professions the licensed principals and staff of AK are continuing their education to keep abreast of the latest technological advances made available to the surveying and mapping community. AK is experienced in all types of surveying services for both private and municipal clients. Whether it is a property line dispute between adjoining homeowners or determining the boundaries of a Superfund Site for the US Army Corp of Engineers AK can bring the necessary resources to bear, bringing the task to a successful completion. AK has consistently executed surveying and mapping tasks on time and in compliance with all required specifications. AK Associates has a full time staff that includes a NYS licensed land surveyor with twenty three years of experience who provides office support for all our field personnel, a field technician with over twenty five years experience working on various municipal and private client properties and an experienced CAD Operator and Survey Technician responsible for the preparation of all our CAD mapping. AK has demonstrated its capability to supply all the necessary surveying services for many large and small projects throughout the County.
