Excellent. These guys were awesome last summer when they did the exterior of our home, and their interior work is just as good. The work involved two of Pat's crew, John and Anthony, and they were excellent from start to finish. They showed up on time, they acted like professionals, they did the work in a quality fashion, and they got it all done in a day. When we uncovered a small misunderstanding about the initial requirements, it was dealt with quickly and professionally. They identified an excellent solution and got the work done. I've already had 3 people comment on the high quality of the work. Pricing was extremely reasonable as well. I couldn't possibly give Whelehan and Ferro a higher recommendation!

He was amazing! His staff are very good, clean up well and do a very good job. They are in and out. They are talented. They work like a well-oiled machine together. They're very professional.

AMAZING!!! Calls are returned promptly, estimate given was the price I paid, which was more than fair. The painting crew was on time, they were very polite, very neat, and their work was beyond professional. I've never used professional painters before, but I am glad I did, and I will continue to use this company for any future painting needs. I have already shared their contact information with friends who need work done. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Don't call anyone else!

I had the paint and it tuned out to be the wrong paint which they caught and went out of their way to travel to paint store and secure more paint. Job is flawless and the room outlets were put back. Job cost less than half of one other quote.

The two man crew finished the entire room in one day - it is the showcase of the house now. Pat Whelehan was wonderful to work with, he saw our vision and made sure it turned out perfectly. They worked with our crazy schedule to complete the room before the movers arrived which was much appreciated.

This job was done flawlessly, and in less than two days! Pat arrived with his crew as scheduled, and went right to work with a team of 12 or 13. The work was done very quickly, but with no sacrifice to quality. Pat is very present and hands on with the crew, and keeps things moving along, while ensuring that all work is done properly. He and the crew are friendly, professional, and communicate well if/when there are questions about the work. The house is 3000+ square feet, and the color scheme involved five different colors, so I was quite flabbergasted when the entire job was done at a little before 4pm on the second day. Other relevant comments: Pat is very client-oriented and goes above and beyond to ensure that the job is done well and on time. I have two good examples of this: 1. The house needed some fairly large repairs before the paint job could start (porch flooring, shingle replacement, etc). For weeks, I called around trying to find someone who would/could do the work before the job was scheduled to start, and got nowhere. I finally called Pat to let him know the situation, and ask if we could be flexible on the scheduling. On the spot, he gave me a referral to someone he works with, who came the next day to look at the job. This person was able to work us into his schedule, and completed the work (also with high quality and very reasonable price), allowing the paint job to start on schedule. 2. On the morning Pat and his crew were scheduled to arrive, a huge tree fell on the back deck, not doing much damage, but creating one hell of a mess. Similarly to the last situation, when I started calling around to services who could help deal with the tree situation, I found no one who was able to come in less than a week's time. One of Pat's guys reached out to a friend of his, and THAT SAME AFTERNOON, I had a tree guy show up and take care of the mess on the deck, again, allowing the paint/stain job to proceed as scheduled. In summary, this is by far, THE best experience I've ever had with an exterior paint job (and I've done a few of these, 3 or 4 before this one). These guys know what they're doing, they do a quality job for a very reasonable price, and are a real pleasure to deal with. I have only one regret, which is that Angie's list won't let me rate them any higher than an A. From my pov, they are definitely an A++!!!

I submitted my request for a quote via Angie's List and Pat responded within 10 minutes! He was incredibly professional and was able to view our property and write-up an estimate that evening. We were lucky enough that he had some wiggle-room in his schedule and even though we needed to work around some other contractor's schedules, Whelehan was able to fit us into his schedule within a week of our initial meeting! Pat kept in touch with me and on the day of the job, Mike and the crew arrived early and were ready to roll. The job was well-orchestrated from prep and calking through paint. Our house is about ~2400 sq/ft. Mike and his 11 guys started at 8am and the entire house was completed and the area was cleaned-up by 3pm. We did a walk-around and identified a couple of areas that needed a touch-up. Mike let me know that we could call at any time if we noticed anything and they'd come back out to make it right. Our house looks absolutely stunning and we're already planning to have them come back in the future to wash and paint our deck. We're incredibly happy with Pat, Mike and all of the folks at Whelehan and we'd certainly recommend them to others!

Stresslessly! Not a real word but best describes how easy Pat and his team made the whole process. From the initial meeting with Pat, to the pressure wash a few days before the staining, to the day of the work, Pat and his team were on time, professional, and completed the job beyond our expectation.

Patrick and his team were fantastic to work with. We had a pretty big job with a lot of trim and door work that Patrick and his crew finished in 3 days. Everyone on the crew was very respectful of our house and did a fantastic job. They even worked over July 4th weekend! He did a final walk through to make sure that we were happy with everything and did some final touch ups on small spots that were missed. We would definitely hire them again.

The team did a great job. Pat gave us a quote and stuck too it. By brining in many good painters all at once they got the job done in just over two days which was great. They really care about doing a good job and it shows.

Arrived on time, patched all the holes, put drop clothes down, and went to work painting. The guys were very respectable and a lot of fun to talk to. Worked hard the entire time. Did a really good job. Had 1 small issue with a couple of the patched holes not being perfectly flat, but they sent someone back out to fix it and now it looks great. A+ service. They also gave me a quote to paint my deck and I'll be scheduling that soon.

Kevin came out and gave us a quote right away. Since the work was exterior and it was too cold to paint we scheduled out into April. We needed to get his help moving the painting up a bit as we had our house going on the market. He was very accommodating and they came out and got things done. He sent out a large team and they were able to concurrently do the interior and exterior work. In one day the whole job was completed (pressure washing happened a few days earlier). The crew was very polite and professional and the work they did was excellent. Highly recommended.

The work done was exactly what we were looking for at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Whelehan Painting. They are thorough, professional and even accommodated a last minute change we made and gave us a VERY fair price for the change. Pat even came over during his off hours to help us with paint selection. We have more work to be done in our home and we will definitely use Whelehan Painting for it.

All of it was done with perfection. There was absolutely no clean up to be done afterwards. Everything was completed in one day as promised. Mr. Whelehan and Mr. Miller his employee were very professional and friendly. We were going to paint ourselves but now we have asked them back to paint. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

In my opinion, there is no one better to hire for your painting than Pat and his crew. The quality of the work was outstanding! He is very professional, prompt, and fast. I emailed for a quote, he called me within 5 minutes, came out to see the job within 3 hours and scheduled us within a week and a half. His crew came in and did the job in one day! When he was finished, he told us to look everything over very well and the next day he was back to touch up a couple of spots and to make sure we were completely satisfied with the work. My wife and I continue to be impressed with the detail that he and his crew took in doing the job, our kitchen walls look as if they were painted before the kitchen cabinets were installed, it was done that well around all the intricate curves and angles of the cabinets. I even had an area in the small bathroom that needed some major drywall work done to fill in two holes. I planned on doing it myself but I could not get to it before the scheduled time for him to paint, but I was fine with that thinking I would do it later, well I got home that day and he had completely repaired the drywall and it looks perfect, it was such a nice blessing that saved me the trouble, and this was not something that was to be part of the job! I am so pleased that he is coming back in May to completely do my deck, powerwashing, sanding, and painting, I can't wait!

I'm really happy with the job they did and the price was very reasonable. Pat is quite responsive and professional and his crew treated me and my house with respect. One tip: Make sure they cover your furniture before any wallpaper removal and/or sanding and not just before painting. Second tip: If you're having lots done, make sure Pat is there at the end of the last day and that you review everything carefully. When not everything was totally completed, Pat had one of his guys come out and complete it to my satisfaction. I would definitely use Pat again and have already recommended him to others.

Did a great job painting outside trim. Clean and quick. Would use again. Very fair price

As per Pat's recommendation, the house was power washed first the week prior to remove the exterior dirt that was on the house. The following week, his crew of about 10 people spent the time scrapping, priming and painting. They were all very personable and professional - great work.

Pat's crew of about 8 completed job in one day! Very thorough, neat and accommodating! Jeff, head of crew that day because Pat was ill, made sure all was done before they left that day. Definitely would recommend their services!

Patrick Whelehan and his crew were totally professional and were a pleasure to work with. They completed the pressure wash in 1 day and completed the porch surface prep and painting in two days. I called Pat a few days later to report a few minor discrepancies with paint overspray and paint chips. Pat made an appointment to return later in the week and resolved all issues to my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to rehire Whelehan Painting in the future and I recomment him to anyone in need of professional painting services.

They did a great job. The job was more time consuming than originally thought and they came back a second day to finish up. Very pleased!
