Do not recommend at all. My riding lawn mower was running fine when they picked it up, it just had a stalling issue after running for more than a half hour. They gave me an outrageous quote to fix it of $600 (parts to fix it would cost under $50). On top of that, they returned it to me in worse condition. It no longer even starts. They refused to address it or refund the $123.60 they charged me to total my riding lawn mower. Very bad service and they tried to rip me off. Will be taking further action but wanted to get this review out there so maybe you can avoid a similar situation.

My older model Cub Cadet tractor needed to have it's clutch replaced. I stopped by their location to price the parts, intending to do the work myself. The parts were pretty expensive, and asked what it would cost to have them do the job. This was quite some time ago, so the details are a bit hazy as to the actual numbers involved, but the young woman at the counter (I believe she was a family member of the owner) gave me what sounded like a very attractive price. So attractive that I specifically asked if that was the correct number. I was told they worked off a flat rate schedule of some kind and that was indeed the price. I requested they pick up my tractor and do the repair. A few days later the tractor was picked up and I anxiously waited to hear that the work had been completed (the grass was getting pretty high). About a week or more later I had a call from one of the owners with an Estimate. Quite a surprise after having been given a firm price. Then the next big surprise: the work would cost more than double what I had been quoted. He refused to honor the quote that I had been given, saying it was inaccurate and the young lady ( I'm not sure but I think it was his daughter or a niece) who gave it to me didn't know what she was talking about. We went round and round for a while and he wouldn't budge. I told him I would not pay the amount he was asking, and he should return the tractor to my home. He then told me it would be $50 in advance for delivery. This initiated another round of argument. My position was that the cost of pickup and delivery should be his responsibility since the entire fiasco was the result of the misinformation given me by his employee. I had no way to pick it up myself. His position was simple. He denied ANY responsibility and told me that if I wanted the machine back I'd have to pay up. I wound up giving the tractor to an acquaintance on condition that he pick it up. Of course there was no Angie's List or anything like it at the time so Mr. Wehner probably figured he'd be safe in taking advantage of me. I'm sure happy I finally get the opportunity to expose the kind of business practices this company engages in.

Not bad. At first said missing key for back tire so just spun and that starter would not work. Neither was mentioned again and I think starter was a safety issue when hood raised. They don't work with Sears mower's often I think but were willing to go the extra mile. I asked for blades to be sharpened and they replaced them as the blades on them were not correct.
Description of Work: Repaired steering with parts I supplied. Fixed fuel line and filter. Order and installed new blades

They do very thorough work. They call you if they find something that needs to be repaired beyond what you asked them to service. They are very realistic in their turn-around time. They are very friendly. They are a local, family-owned company that has been working for at least two generations.
Description of Work: I hired Wehner do a routine service check on my snowblower to make sure everything was running OK on it. You can either take the equipment in or have them pick it up from your home and deliver it at a small charge. I had them pick my snowblower up from my home.
