Description of Work: This is the second time I've had Mark do work for me and I certainly will call on him in the future. Mark is a professional, he will listen to what you'd like to have done, and he will set your expectations clearly. I recommend Weaver Electric.

Description of Work: He fixed an electric line that ran from the house to a garden shed. He disconnected an unused elec line, and installed outside spotlights.

+ -1 moreAfter receiving several quotes of ~ $1000, Mark inspected the job and provided a quote of almost half the others. I shook his hand and hired him. He arranged for RGE and City permit/imspection and arrived the time/day promised. He worked very efficiently and timed the inspections perfectly. Power was restored within 3 hours. A very competent one-man business, Mark was a pleasure to work with and first on my list for electrical work.
Description of Work: Mark Weaver provided the lowest bid (by several $100s) and installed new electrical service (new meter box w/mast, grounding rod, wiring to panel) on the day and time promised. Work was done quickly and professionally, passed inspection, and was operational within 3 hours. Truly a fair and trustworthy tradesman; I would hire Mark again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: We used Weaver Electric to do troubleshooting things over the phone and email over the past couple of months. He installed all the electric and ran it into the basement when we installed our hot tub in 2008.

+ -1 moreWent well, all the work was performed while the house was vacant. Work was very neat and in any areas where judgement was required, e.g. locating fixtures/outlets/switches, he made good and reasonable choices. He prepared an estimate in advance, honored the estimate, and reviewed the work with me before accepting payment. I'd hire him again because: 1) Neatness of the work and the work areas. A few insulation and conductor trimmings were left on the driveway, but very minor. 2) Did a good job setting my expectations and providing input on choices. 3) Very accessible via phone, promptly returned messages. 4) Fair pricing. 5) Flexible in scheduling the work and site meetings. 6) Suggested areas where I could extend the circuits in the future (without hiring an electrician). Not protective about his livelihood.
Description of Work: Electrical service upgrade including installation of a new load center (aka circuit breaker box). This entailed coordinating RG&E shutoff, installing new service cable, meter box, exterior mounted shutoff, new cable into the basement, fabricating a short wall to mount the new load center and connecting most of the circuits to wiring run into the old load center. Mark also ran overhead service to a detached garage, installed a load center in the garage, installed an interior light fixture and two outlet boxes, and an exterior flood light. In the house he also installed a new fourplex outlet receptacle and mounted an existing dryer receptacle after sleeving the cable in conduit (to meet code). A fair bit of work over two days with a helper. He arranged the inspection by Commonwealth Electrical, an independent inspection service.
