25+ year old AC died at the start of the heat wave. First few calls to more well known companies (including one which we had given annual business to for the past decade) were met with 6 days wait for an appointment unless we were annual package subscribers. Through online recommendations found Total Comfort and they were able to squeeze in a late day service call that same day. While they got our ancient beast up and running, they pointed out that the compressor was beyond its last legs, and there was no guarantee that it would hold on much longer. We decided it was time for a new AC unit, and took advantage of opportunity to change out older and lower efficiency Furnace at same time. Team was prompt, courteous and did a great job. Very happy with Ken and his crew. Week after that work, 20 year old water heater thermostat malfunctioned. Given the age, decided to simply replace the entire unit. Went straight to Total Comfort based on previous experience and was equally as happy. Everyone I dealt with throughout the entire organization was fantastic, from office staff on phones to techs and energy audit personnel. Energy Audit gave me a few suggestions that could bring incremental savings and efficiency to our home, but did not get any sort of a hard sell to complete any of that work. In fact the suggestion was that we live for a while with the new system before we decide on going any further. Glad we won't need any new HVAC equipment anytime soon, but look forward to looking to Total for regular maintenance, and have a strong sense of confidence that should any of our new equipment need work while under warranty that Ken and his team would do so quickly and professionally. Total Comfort is our new HVAC service!

I filled in info on Angie's List and got a call from Ken at Total Comfort within 1 minute and had a tech on site within the hour. It was incredible. The cost for the emergency visit (was after 7 at night) was the same as what others charge for a normal visit, and, to top that off he said if we used him for the work he'd apply what we paid for the visit to our bill. I really appreciate how thorough and professional Ken and his team were and how quick they were to see me!!
