Jason gave me a reasonable price to remove the branches. A week later Anthony and Raphael came in pouring rain and did a great job removing them. I've had Davey Tree Company remove a large pine tree and stump l0 years ago and was very satisfied so I knew I'd be satisfied with this job. I highly recommend Davey Tree Company to do yard work.

I had submitted a request online and they called back to confirm an appointment for providing an estimate. Jason came at the appointed time and was very professional. He understood my requirements and gave detailed estimate and all the optional services available. I got quotes from 3 other local services and Davey's estimate was the least and it was less than half of the highest estimate I got. I called and confirmed that I want them to cut the trees (not stump removal) and Jason asked me to send back the signed pink sheet. I sent it out and waited for 2 weeks to hear from them. Finally I had to call back since I never heard back from them. Upon calling Jason scheduled the job for the following week. On the appointed day, two guys came with their truck and equipment and completed the job. One week later I got the invoice in mail. However, to my utter surprise, a couple of guys from Davey tree showed up the same day and removed the stumps as well. I called Jason back and asked about it and he said that since I had not crossed the optional stump removal so they did it. He accepted that during our conversation previously I had mentioned only cutting (no stump removal). He later sent a revised estimate with a substantial reduction in the cost of stump removal. I figured that since they have performed their job, it won't be a good idea to shortchange them. The final amount of $475 + taxes was still lower than all other estimates. Overall I am quite satisfied with their job, but I would expect them to be a little more responsive in contacting & scheduling the job once they have received the signed agreement.

I have had them for many years and am very happy with them. They are very dependable and call before they come. I like to know when they are going to be here. I can always count on them. They are good at solving problems that I may have with my trees or yard.

The initial consultation went wonderfully. The consultant came over and gave me very detailed information about a number of plants in my yard including care information. I agreed to the recommended services and the consultant said they would be performed sometime before the end of the month (next couple of weeks). When the weeks past, I wasn't sure if they forgot about me or not so I called. They sent workers to do the trimmings the next day. They trimmed the trees but not aggressively enough, especially our apple tree. They didn't trim the top at all and it was approaching powerlines and touching the 2nd floor balcony of our house. I had told them specifically when they came to really cut as much off the apple tree as possible. When I called to complain, they send workers out the following day to retrim. I was impressed with their responsiveness. They trimmed the top this time, but it really needed more because it was so overgrown. Another technician came over and did the pesticide for the spider mites about a week later. I was on vacation during the time of service but everything seems great with the spraying. They left a sign up with the date of the spraying on it, which was nice.

After the first service, we had questions. The worker who performed the service immediately returned to the property and addressed our issues. We will definately continue to use davey and will conisder their other services.

Tim comes out 4-5 times a year and analyses our yard for the proper fertilizer, week control etc. He keep our lawn looking very beautiful.

We’ve used them for 4 years. They are very reliable. We like that a human being answers the phone. We pay for them by the year. They do quality work and they clean up. We have no problems with them.

He does a great job. We have had them come out for the past 3 or 4 years, and will continue to have them. I think they are reasonable in pricing also.

He spent a good amount of time with me trying to help with the estimate, but we just didn't end up using his services at the time. It didn't have anything to do with the estimate but our circumstances changes.

They were one of the few companies that was able to provide organic fertilizer. They did a good job.

They did the work while we were gone. We have dealt with them for about 5 years for lawn fertilization care. They are very reliable. A human actually answers the phone. If, for some reason, they can't answer the phone, then they will return your call. Their prices are competitive.

They charge me $200 and something a year for the lawn service. Then for spraying the trees it’s about $70 may be. I’m not sure of the exact charges though. They’re just a very professional service. They always come out on time and they answer my questions and things like that. The customer service they provided was fine. I don’t know what the prices are outside. I will use their services again in the future.

Their representative comes out every once in a while and he seems to be very knowledgeable. About two years ago they came out to do some extensive work on the trees but I had to call them back because they only really did half of the tree. They came back and did the other half and did not charge me for it. Their prices are reasonable.

Everything that they have done has been just fine. When you call them they are right their. They give you a lot of options. Their work is done on time and as agreed.

I have used this company before, so I called them again. He was very careful about doing the estimate. He really looked over the trees very carefully to determine exactly what needed to be done. He was very courteous and gave me the estimate immediately.

If they did not do keep up on my tree, it most likely would have died by now. I know I wouldn't have been able to do it by myself. They do such an excellent job. I feel like they are the only reason why the tree is still standing today. I think they are the best around.

I had them leave the stump so I could plant flowers in it. The best thing about this company is that you couldn't tell that they were even there except for the tree being removed. They cleaned up after themselves. They were also very timely and safety minded.

Historically Davey Tree Experts was doing a nice job, but then there was change in management. The scheduling hasn't been right since, and the crabgrass has increased too. In the past they were doing an A job, but this year it has been a D.
