If you continue to treat customers like this, then you're going to ruin the book of business your dad built. I left a voicemail with follow up questions about issues I noticed with my new liner. After no response, a week later I left another voicemail asking for a phone call back. Then Sal sends me a rude text message and I asked again for a phone call back. Then I got was a very rude nasty text message when all I was asking was for a simple phone call back for his help with the issues. I wanted to know if it was normal with a new liner installed and if so then how do I fix it correctly. It is sad this is how you treat someone who has follow up questions. I can't be the only person who had questions about their new liner and thought to call and ask the guy who installed it.

3 years ago I had my pool liner replaced, it had been leaking every year, they came as scheduled, replaced the liner, and I haven't had an issue since. I bring them in to close the pool every year and they show up on time, do the work expected, keep everything organized, clean up after themselves and the cover stays on and doesn't leak all winter. When I open the pool it's always a nice clean start. No complaints about the work these people do! I would recommend to anyone needing assistance with their pool.

As soon as the pool was refilled, it was clear there was a significant leak in the water-return fitting. Multiple attempts were made to contact this contractor about the problem over a period of a few weeks, and there has been no response.

Sal replied very quickly to my initial contact through Angie's List. He continued to follow-up immediately with any questions I had. Very professional, on-time, and did a great job. Also charged less than other local companies I have used in the past.

Sal did a great job! I originally had him come out to estimate demoing my aging in-ground pool because I thought it was in worse shape than it was and I am trying to sell my home. He took a look around and told me that if the pool structure was sound he could likely get it all up and running and working properly. He seemed to know a lot about what may be wrong and that is why I chose to give him the work. As it turns out, he was right. He did an amazing job getting the pool opened and cleaned, ladders installed, etc. And then installed the new equipment and improved the plumbing set up in the pool shed. Everything is running great and looks great. Sal got the work done in a timely fashion and always showed up when he said he would and quickly responded to texts or called me to respond to questions I had. I have already recommended Sal to my realtor and will for sure recommend him to others in the future. Thanks, Mike M

Sal was very professional and very accommodating to my schedule. We set an appointment for 6:00pm and he was right on time and ready to work. However, when he examined the pool he found that the liner was going to need to be replaced. The liner itself was fine, but the top that is folded over the wall and under the rail had been trimmed to short and the liner was coming undone in several spots around the pool. It was apparent that there was no way to fix it. He then told me there was no point in doing the repair now since I would need a new liner in the spring. He could do a more thorough job with the repair with the liner out so it made more sense to wait. I was very happy with his knowledge and his honesty. He didn't want me to waste money now when the pool still needed work. I will definitely be calling him back in the spring to replace the liner and repair the pool wall.

First one hose sprung a leak, shooting water into the air. I wrapped duct tape around it, got it slowed to a trickle, and thought maybe that would hold it until time to close the pool. Then a few days later the other hose sprung two leaks, so I got the SPS # from Angie's List and called. He said he'd come the next day around noon, and he did. He even called to tell me he was on the way, which I appreciated. He replaced the hoses quickly--didn't leave a mess--was friendly and professional. He's scheduled to close the pool in September.

I called Sal on the afternoon of 6/27. I explained the liner on my inground pool had slipped out of track in three places. We discussed repairing it using bead lock and possibly bead locking the entire pool. I am familiar with this repair as it has happened before in a different area. I asked what the cost would be to bead lock the entire liner. Sal stated the bead lock product alone costs around $300.00 for my size pool and then the labor to install it. I stated I had some bead lock left over from the last repair. While we were on the phone I went to the pool house to see how much was left. I has quite a bit and thought it odd that the last pool company would have left it if it was so expensive. Sal said he could come out Wed. 6/30 to take a look at the pool and discuss our options. Sal asked me to send him a text with my address, phone number and the reason for calling. He stated he would contact me with an approx. time for Wed. I did this within the hour. I went online to various pool suppliers to research the cost of bead lock. The price was around $100-$120 for the linear footage I needed. I was puzzled by the difference in price and decided I would discuss it with Sal to be sure it was a comparable product. Monday 6/28 I asked to have the day off of work for Wed 6/30 so I could be here to meet Sal. Needless to say Sal did not contact me nor show on Wed. 6/ 30 and to this day I have not heard from him. The following week after no response from Sal, I contacted the pool company that had previously repaired the pool to ask the cost of bead lock for the entire pool. $250.00 installed. I was told it is more the cost of the labor then the cost of the bead lock product itself. So you ask why did I call Sal in the first place. Because he seems to be a jack of all trades and I was going to ask for an estimate for some of his other services. Too good to be true I guess.

It was a wonderful experience! They came and gave me an estimate the same day I called and they were able to schedule me between jobs so I could start enjoying my pool right away! I would give these guys 10 thumbs up! Very professional, reasonable and I highly recommend SPS pool services!

Other than being a little late due to personal issues, Sal, Jordan and Joe wall worked together and got the job done in a timely fashion. All maintained courtesy and professionalism and good humor. Very pleased with his service. Pool now filling and will take a day or so. Will report back after pool filled. Due to age of pool (15 years), wide mouth skimmers would not fit. Sal fixed skimmer so it would be used for another few years, at least. I would use him again. Hard to find good experience pool companies who don't spend the entire time complaining. Sal and co-workers maintain good humor.

Sal is just amazing. Our liner blew out and the resulting "flood" took away a large portion of dirt under our deck and support poles. Sal came out quickly and gave us an estimate to replace the liner, build back up the pool base, fill in dirt under our deck and close the pool for the winter. A week or so later, they spent the day completing the job and everything was done exceptionally. Plus he's a really honest and straightforward guy. Like a earlier review said, we now have Sal on speed dial!

SPS Pool Service did an excellent and professional job in replacing our pool liner. Sal came over to our house and examined what we had and then made recommendations. The liner was replaced the next day. I would strongly recommend his services. We plan to use his service again next Spring when it is time to open the pool.

They came out the same day we called (my wife mentioned I had pulled my back and could not do it myself and that her lady's group was coming over within the week). Can't ask for better responsiveness then that! Bottom line ? friendly, hardworking guys that were responsiveness and very professional.

I was looking for someone to open our 24' above ground pool. I had been doing it for years, and it has become too difficult for me to do any longer. I was referred to Sal Arnone to do the work by several people. Most contractors we had contacted were scheduling appointments a few weeks out. I contacted Sal on a Friday and he was able to come down after a few jobs he was working on the next day. Two of his workers showed up and removed cover, it began to storm terribly and they could not finish. Sal did show up in the pouring rain and informed me that they would be down the next day to finish the job. Next day, they showed up earlier than expected, which was great. They got my pool filter all hooked up. Sal also gave me some tips on priming and doing the first vacuuming of the pool. I had also been looking for someone to assemble our 15' trampoline and asked him if he knew anyone who did that type of work which he informed me he did. He told me at first they would come the next day and then to my surprise they said they could do it as soon as they finished the pool. In a few hours I had all the work completed that I needed done! My grandchildren were excited to begin using the trampoline that I had sitting around waiting for us to try to find someone to put together. They also can't wait to begin swimming. Sal and his staff were professional, friendly and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone that needs pool work done and also plan on using him again in the future.

Sal and his team did an excellent job. When I first contacted Sal he was eager to help and even coordinated the purchase of the new liner for our pool. Even though we were outside of his install area (about a 40 minute drive for him) he kept the price the same and didn't charge any fuel surcharges that we were getting from other installers. I ordered the liner over the phone at the place he recommended, he then picked up the liner for us and had it installed in less than a week. He and his team showed up while we were at work and had the entire job done before we got home. He left the worksite as clean and neat as he found it. Honestly, except for the new liner, you couldn't tell any work had been done! He even took the time to hook up the filter system for me at no additional charge. Sal is one of those "customer-first" guys. I would recommend him in an instant. Great job, great service! Thanks Sal.

Sal and his guys were extremely professional, hard working and did a fantastic job on the whole project. We could not be more pleased! They came out on Friday afternoon to assess the existing liner and pool itself, provided a written estimate. I called on Sunday to get things scheduled and they came on Tuesday to do the work. The liner looks beautiful, the pool is back in proper condition, everything that was wrong with it was addressed and additional materials provided to make things "right". They also noticed that a portion of my deck was hitting the pool wall due to the deck shifting slightly, they addressed this as well. Overall, my husband and I are extremely satisfied and I would recommend them to anyone! They were recommended by Ace Swim and Leisure where I bought the liner.
