Simco Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC

This was a disaster that left me so angry I was literally Shaking! This company was sent by HSA Home Warranty another disaster look them up before you sign up. Anyway Simco was supposed to inspect the hot water heater for a leak to be replaced under the home warranty. The guy right off made a backhanded threat that he wouldn't condemn us and then became accusatory about the insulation on the water pipes saying what are you hiding here...the insulation was on the hot water side and was there when we bought the home this past November then he started nosing around and making other ******** comments. I worked in the trades myself and got very alarmed as he constantly was looking at gas pipes etc. This home had an engineer performed and certified inspection last November. I cant imagine what would have happened with an elderly and or female client. When I started questioning him he became very defensive and when I left to get my phone to record him in action he decided to leave!! Thank god for that!!! This is the worst experience of my 60 years.

Not to well - he said the temp was to high and the leak was from the pressure relief valve - he turned down the temp and told me my water heater was old. That's why I have a warranty Don. I asked if turning the temp down didn't resolve the problem would I have to pay the $65 again. H said I had to call the warranty company. It was a simple question but it just escalated from there and I told him to just go and I would talk with his supervisor. I asked for his name he refused to give it to me I asked if he was the owner he said he was just a technician. I found out later when I went to BBB he was the owner. Very rude and abrubt when talking to me. It would have been very easy to let me know his work is guaranteed for 30 days. I definitely would not recommend you call Simco and if you do ask for someone else beside Don.

I received a call within half an hour of requesting a quote. The plumbers arrived approximately 2 hours later (and on the early side of the quoted window for arrival). An hour after arriving my new garbage disposal was installed, tested - for operation and leaks - and ready to go. The plumbers were polite, professional and explained things as they went. I'm happy with the service that I received today.

We hired Simco to replace a toilet 2 years ago and the next day toilet started leaking. Don from Simco returned and fixed the problem which is why we decided to try him again now to replace faucet and valve in the tub/shower. We had to reschedule appointment as we had a death in the family and there was a problem getting back on Don’s schedule and getting him to show up, that was the first red flag. He replaced the valve and faucet and added shut offs to the shower pipes charging us $650, second red flag as I think that’s way more than it should be. Next morning my furnace wouldn’t turn on. We called a technician who does work on the side who has taken care of our furnace for years and he came over on Palm Sunday to see what was wrong. We never dreamed it was Don from Simco who cut the wires from the thermostat to the furnace when he was replacing our faucet the day before. Our furnace tech replaced the wiring and all was ok. We went to Simco Plumbing the next morning hoping Don would be professional and reimburse us the $400 for having the repairman come on a Sunday on an emergency call and having the wiring replaced, but he said we should have called him first (why would we call the plumber for our furnace????) and that he saw the wiring, didn’t know what is was and it made no sense to him so he cut them!! So after hiring him two times and having major problems both times and costing us financially I felt I had to try and let people know the poor quality of work and professionalism in this company!!

A guy came over Saturday March 16,2019 to check out the property and give an estimate. He was very short and rude with me. I wasn't sure if it was because I was a woman or if he was having a bad day. He told me that everything was expensive and this was going to be expensive. I told him that's why im having 4 quotes from Angies list so that I can get quality work at the lowest price possible. He said he was going to email me the quote for central air installation and he never did. I ended up going with Paris heating and cooling and they were super professional and they also installed a free humidifier for finding him on Angies list!! He was the lowest of them all and very professional.

Went well, no problem.

It all went smoothly. Joe is polite and funny.

When appointment was made I was told I would get a call when they were on their way. Showed up an hour late with no phone calls. I understand the service industry and schedules but communication is key. Problem solved within 2 hours of arrival. Minimal mess made and cleaned up adequately. Very nice workers explained process and billing completely. Seemed a bit pricey but when your shower is filling up with yuck, you pay.

Fine. Joe outbid everyone's bid. And did a great job.

Completed the work professionally and efficiently using the highest quality part.

Everything went well. No problems. Joe was friendly and helpful. Explained about using the faucets. And gave us some tips.

Joe and his partner (forgot his name) were excellent. They showed up on time, were very professional and took the time to explain the job to me. Because I have a finished basement, they had to go above and beyond to reach my pipes and they completed the work quickly and to a high standard. The price was exactly what I expected and I would definitely reccomend them to anyone.

Joe arrived on time. He explained everything and gave me the price before starting the work. I am pleased with my new faucet. I am now able to water my plants with out my hose faucet leaking.

They arrived on time and did a wonderful job. They had to do extra work but it was needed.
