The crew (Eric was the lead man) showed up on time and ready to go with a good attitude. The good attitude did not fade as the move went on all day long and multiple trips. These guys were fast, efficient, and very nice to work with. We've done a number of moves and this was by far the best experience. Highly recommend with no reservations.

The office staff were friendly and answered all of my questions. They were accommodating to our busy work schedules when setting up our appointment for a moving estimate. On moving day, the 4 men showed up on time, communicated their plan, and started working immediately. They designated one person to pack boxes and the other three stayed busy loading the larger items onto the truck. Our small, fragile items were wrapped and thoughtfully packed into boxes and were neatly labeled so we could easily identify our things while unpacking. They were careful loading the truck and wrapped the large furniture in blankets, to prevent scratching/rubbing during the move. Several items were antiques and family heirlooms and they handled them like they were their own. We moved two households to one house and we had an appointment to move things from the 2nd place the following week. There was time and room left on the truck after moving the first place so I asked if they would be willing to fill the truck from the 2nd house. Once they confirmed with the main office, they came and moved as much as would fit in the truck from the other house. Fortunately, it was a local move and they were able to accommodate our last minute request. That was a great help and expedited our move overall. The men were friendly and hardworking. I appreciate their patience and respect for our personal items as we figured out where we wanted them to place each item in the new house. Sheridan Brother's Moving is a class act. I'm thankful that our move was a happy one. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to someone who is moving for other reasons and is in need of a sensitive, respectful crew to accomplish this.

The mover arrived on time with two men. They packed the first group of household items quickly and carefully,then drove to the next grouping of items at the second stop,again quickly and carefully packing items and furniture onto the truck.The same went for the third stop .The crew then drove the truck to the final destination and unloaded all the items and put them in the proper rooms intact.The men used heavy drop clothes to protect the hardwood flooring and moved everything with care.The leader CJ and his helper were attentive to our concerns and addressed any worries with had with respect and were very competent. They were neat in appearance and courteous through the whole experience. They set our worries at ease and made the trying day much easier for us during the move.All the items arrived clean and intact due to there diligent use of packing materials and care.Actually at one stop some items in storage were damaged from a damp unit and CJ offered to take pictures with his cell phone and forward them to our email so we could submit them to our insurance company,anther example of extra care and service. Our choice of using this company was soley based upon prior Angies list feedback from other people that used this company. They had many"A" reviews and it proved valuable to us as we also had a very positive experience from contracting them for the move.I highly reccomend this company and would use no other mover for any future moves.

Very smoothly. Staff were punctual; if there were minor delays, they called.

The in-home estimate went well. the agent was on time and polite. The agent seemed eager to be of assistance. Once I was told that the company would definitely move me. I began to get ready, however, anxious, because the date had not been settled. Eventually, I was contacted with a suitable date.On the day of pick up, the labeling agent was more hour late. When the truck finally arrived the guys quickly packed and were pleasant. The only negative was that they did not have the proper screwdriver to break down the bed.On the day of delivery, I was most disappointed that the driver did not communicate the delay. I reserved loading dock from 3-6pm. The driver did not arrive until 8pm. If I had known of the delay, I could have adjusted my schedule accordingly. Instead, I sat in an empty apartment, afraid to go out to eat, just waiting for hours. The actual unloading did not take too long. (One object was missing a handle. A previously repaired piece of furniture was re-broken. These things were not a big deal. I have moved myself with a truck and driver 6 times without losing anything or re-breaking anything, but it is all par for the course.) Unfortunately, an hour was spent putting a twin bed frame together which has been put together in less than 10 minutes on multiple moves in the past. The delivery team was not pleasant. I really felt uncomfortable with them in my apartment especially at such a late hour. I only let them in because a friend waited with me. The in home estimate was a significant under-estimate. Overall, my things made it without much damage. I notified the company of my disappointment without any response. The lack of courtesy/professionalism of a small company is surprising and unacceptable. I have had others move me for free. This was not for free. A few phone calls to let me know about the delay would have went a long way.

Brian (one of the owners) showed up with two of his employees, they were all cheerful despite it being the end of the day. They worked harder than I could have hoped for and I cannot begin to describe how grateful we are for their hard work, positive attitudes, and the care they took with our belongings, and with our new home. We will definitely be using their services for our next move as well!!! As I told Brian and the guys, even though we were paying for their service, we could not have anticipated or expected their great attitudes or their care.

I contacted Sheridan Brothers online and received all the information I needed from Jennifer, who was courteous, knowledgeable and quite accommodating as I decided on a date. She got right back to me every time via email, which I find easier than trading phone calls. The truck and the guys arrived just before 8 as planned. I packed all my stuff quite well and labeled everything. They did a quick survey of my stuff and went right to work. It was one of the hottest days of summer, but you wouldn't know it from the speed at which they packed up my 4 room apartment into the truck. Door to door it was 3 hours and that includes the drive to Gates and a little snag that was entirely my fault (neighbor needing to get out of the driveway mid loading). They safely negotiated my things down a tight spiral staircase and down a narrow driveway. The guys were awesome. Ricky, Louis and Shane (I think). They took great care in making sure everything was where I wanted it once we got to the house and were on the their way in no time. They were gracious and professional. I made sure they had an endless supply of water and Gatorade and they were not only grateful, but humbled. Plus, they were fun and funny! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this company from the scheduling to the price to the execution. A+++++

We were thrilled with our moving experience. The movers were hard working and friendly. They did a great job and were very careful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for movers.

They absolutely the best people that we would ever want to deal with. I did not compare their prices because everything else was so good. They were extremely responsive. They did not get on time the last time but the other times they have. I do not think anybody could go wrong in using them.

Their price was very good. When I needed to move, they were available. They showed up when they said they were going to and they did a good job. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They were very quick and professional and they were very friendly.

All parties were on time to do an estimate and packing. They were efficient and completely their jobs quickly. They over estimated my weight and quoted me a better price. They had to store my stuff until their truck was making a delivery but, did not charge extra.

They charged us around $3000 which was great. They were really excellent and we were so really happy with them. We would use them again in the future.

These movers were wonderful! Brian, Aaron, Shawn and Rasheed were very accomodating and professional. They couldn't do enough to help. They arrived on time. The cost estimate was accurate. I would absolutelhy recommend them as reliable and competent movers. Dean Anne Brown

Two guys and a truck came for the moving. They arrived a bit later than scheduled but it's very understandable due to the heavy snow. They were very friendly and efficient. They put some drop cloth at the entrance of the house so that they wouldn't bring in the snow and dirt with their shoes. The actual moving (from the truck arrival to all stuff unloaded) took about 2 hour and 5 minutes. We were also charged for their driving from and back to their store. Overall we are happy with their service.

These guys ROCK!!! I have now used them twice and they are superior. I will never use another moving company again. They were on time, moved right along, very friendly and professional. The price was just as competitive as anyone else. Plus the guys came back another time after hours to help move some stuff up from my basement. Great company!!!

Sheridan Brothers did an incredibly good job! I called at the last minute but they were able to send two guys the very next day, one of them was the owner. Both were very professional and very fast. They arrived when they said they would. They were extremely careful and conscientious. The final cost was less than their initial estimate. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend their services.

Everyone from Sheridan Bros. was fantastic. Jennifer in the office was very friendly and prompt in getting back to me about an estimate, and the two guys that came and did my move were very courteous, professional, and QUICK. They saw that I didn't have a whole lot of stuff and that it was pretty organized, and proceeded to HUSTLE to get me all moved in within the 2-hour minimum that they require so I wouldn't have to pay any more than was really necessary. They were sweating and huffing and puffing by the time it was over, but they got it done. If I can afford movers in the future, I will definitely go with them again.

We used Sheridan Brothers Moving to move all of our furniture and odds and ends from a property we had lived in for 10 years- meaning we had a lot of stuff piled up in the basement and attic. The two-man crew (Lawrence and Ryan, I believe) arrived 5 minutes before their scheduled start time of 9AM, and immediately set to work. It shoudl also be noted that this move was done on a Sunday, which many of the other moving companies I contacted wouldn't do. As mentioned above, we had a bunch of stuff just piled up in the attic and basement that hadn't even really been packed up/prepared to be moved, as we only expected them to move the furniture, packed boxes and other larger items. I was pleasantly surprised when Lawrence and Ryan began carrying out everything that was left in the house, whether it was packed or not! They both worked extremely hard, filling an entire truck in 2 hours, and took excellent care of all of our stuff. Everything was packed and wrapped up in moving blankets to keep it safe, not a single item that they moved arrived at our new home with any damage. This move was done during the winter, and they both took special care to ensure that they weren't tracking mud and slush into our new house, laying down blankets everywhere that they would be walking. On top of the fact that they did a tremendous job of moving our things, both Lawrence and Ryan were extremely positive, friendly, and easy to talk to. I will definitely use Sheridan Brothers Moving any time I need anything moved, and have already recommended them to everyone I know- thanks Sheridan Brothers Moving!

Overall very successful. The quote was about $1,500 less than actual, but the costs were based on weight. Brought us garment boxes to use. Took apart master bed and 2 cribs. Then reassembled them in our new home. Thank you.

Overall excellent. Family operation. Very punctual, used lots of pads on floors and furniture. All workers in good mood. No complaints. A refreshing change from my prior experiences with other movers.

From the initial phone call and estimate to the last box coming off the truck, the group at Sheridan Bros was fantastic. We moved on one of the hottest days of the year and the movers were punctual, professional, careful, and good humored. The latter is not a category in Angie's list but was certainly appreciated by me while moving! The price was reasonable with hourly rates based on the number of movers/packers. The hourly rate for packing was less than for moving which was not the case for some companies we contacted. The estimate for packing ended up being a bit higher than the cost of packing and the estimate for moving was a bit lower than the actual cost of moving. That said, the estimates were close, certainly in the ballpark, and I would definitely use Sheridan Bros again.

A different team moved me than was originally planned, so the movers showed up almost two hours later. Also, I was originally scheduled to have three men, and only two showed up. Despite that, however, these two guys were great. They were positive minded, knew what they were doing, polite, neat...they didn't damage anything at all, which was a first in my experience.

Best movers I've used: efficient, friendly, careful, thoughtful.

Their pricing was competitive and I would absolutely consider them in the future.
