Never showed up for appt

I met with the owner Lou Machado in the Spring after I noticed water in my basement. This seemed to happen every Spring and Fall since I bought the house 6 years ago. Half of my basement is finished and the other half isn't so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have to deal with water again. I had talked to other people who had their basements waterproofed by larger commercial companies and they spent between $10,000.00 to $20,000.00. I didn't have that kind of money so I was very pleased when Lou explained to me that reason the water was coming in wasn't as much the outside as it was that the current drainage system wasn't working and the water level was too high. He quoted me around $5000.00 to remove the old system and put in a new one with PVC piping instead the original piping that was installed. It also included sealing the walls and a new sump pump. I was impressed with Lou because he was right on with his quote. The job took about 4 days then we had to wait for the concrete to cure to waterproof the walls. He was so reasonable that he even tore down my moldy bathroom and put up drywall for me. I would recommend Lou to anyone. I was very impressed with his customer service skills. He was very easy to work with. I am very happy I used him. He did a great job!
