Description of Work: We had a floor put in. It was a nightmare. They had to take it out again.

Description of Work: Want to sell my house but need to replace carpeting in three rooms and linoleum in the utility room He kept taking me over to the custom carpeting, and I was looking at the rems It was just too expensive to have them do it.

Description of Work: We had about 1200 sq. ft. of white carpet installed in our condo before Christmas. This included stairs and three bedrooms...at $8,000, I expected an unusually good installation. Not only were these installers unbelievably sloppy, they left places on the stairs UN-tucked, and we had to have them back for that...not to mention that those morons left their own equipment at our house, so we had to call them to come get it. Meanwhile, the next day we found some weird groupings of brown spots in the corners of some of our rooms, We alerted Carpet One about this, and were told that they'd "get on it". Months later, after an "inspection" paid for by either Carpet One or the actual carpet company that starts with a B, we have been told that it's an "interior problem which has to do with air flow". I am speechless. There are small brown spots in corners of our BRAND NEW CARPET that are caused by air flow? Although we have not finished with Carpet One, I can tell you to NEVER do business with these people, EVER. .

Description of Work: Went to the Victor store and received a quote from the salesman. I brought blueprints with exact specifications with me for them to work the quote. Was told to use the Webster location because of its proximity to my home. Went to the Webster store and they quoted me a price that was double the original price. All materials were marked up 100 percent. Labor costs were more than the highest priced surgeon or attorney anywhere in the country. I did not use them as my purchasing agent or contractor.

Description of Work: Needed carpet for a rental property. Salesman started with low grade Berber, then pointed us to the remnants. We were able to get a MUCH better quality for 1/2 the low grade carpet. installation was within a week and installers did a good job. Very satisfied

Description of Work: I had the old carpet removed and new carpet put down in the dining room, living room, up the stairway, down the hallway and into the upstairs linen closet of my 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom houses.
