All of the preliminary discussions with the owner of the company went very well. He is knowledgeable and very responsive. Not pushy at all. No scare tactics whatsoever. I was able to determine for myself whether or not to proceed. Once I decided, the work was scheduled quickly.

Communication, and installation were excellent. The crew managed to complete all work seamlessly and included an additional crawl space suction point.

As it turned out there were other issues with the house so I didn’t go through with the sale, but if I had I would have used their company and feel confident in recommending them to anyone who needs environmental remediation work done.

The RECG staff came to the site to look at the layout of the house and basement. Then they made recommendation on how they thought the radon mitigation system should be installed. They asked for our input and any concerns or preferences we had about the installation. After listening to our requests, they put together a cost, scope of work, and agreement that we all signed. They provided their insurance certificates and placed us in their schedule in a timely manner. Once on-site to perform the work, the staff was quick, efficient and clean. They cleaned up all the debris from the work in the basement. They were careful around the trees on the house exterior and they worked with our electrician to provide an independent electrical service to the mitigation system at our request. We did not pay until the job was done and we were satisfied with the work. Their staff also followed up with us after the Radon Re-test was complete to confirm that the system was working as expected. A very nice company to work with. Have already and will recommend them to other friends.

Steve and his crew did a great job with mold remediation in my attic. I sold my house and on a timeline to close. Steve was there to give an estimate and on the job within a week. He and his crew are very professional, timely and on the ball. His pricing is also, by far, the lowest in the area for such a job, thanks Steve!

I was on the phone 5-6 times a day between the insurance company, and attempting to find contractors that were not full up. Steve (Rochester Environmentals), took the load off my my hands and within days had the project quotes finished and ready for Mike and myself (Mary) to send to insurance agent. We had a roof leak that had started coming into the kitchen, and from that point Mike from Paradigm took over so the asbestos could not contaminate the rest of the house. Paradigm built an air tight tent in the kitchen, where Steve's company came in and did the entire asbestos abatement. Rochester Environmentals and Paradigm finished the job in 3 days!! Job was done to perfection. Russ, R.A.S. Construction company was next in line to repair the torn out drywall, and re-construct all new cabinets, sink, flooring, backslash tiles, painting, everything! Mike & myself are extremely grateful for all involved, I would highly recommend all 3 of these companies to anyone, small job to whole house, they are the greatest bunch of guys that we have ever had to employ.

Basement left clean. Some potentially asbestos the contractor has recommended to be removed by myself as this would dramatically increase the cost if he would have done it. All visible mold gone. So far no mold sensed. Contractor has recommended to protect the sump pump operation by a method that would automatically dump the excess water into the house sewer system whenever water well will be filling up even in absence of electricity in the house. I appreciate this a lot as the sump pump failure was the reason of my basement flooded. I am looking to avoid this event in the future.

Steve was great to work with. I had some concerns with my basement. He came by and inspected my basement. He gave me a quote for waterproofing my basement, but more importantly, he suggested ways to address my problems that I could do myself for free even though it meant that I wouldn't necessarily need the waterproofing. This is the mark of a true professional.
