Description of Work: These people repaired our clothes dryer. The lint trap and trap holder had broken. They ordered and installed the correct parts and were friendly and professional throughout. We're likely to call them again the next time an appliance breaks.

Description of Work: They were upfront with the range of possibilities of things that could be wrong with the washing machine, based on the symptoms we told them. In the end we fixed the problem on our own but we did buy the replacement part from them. It was slightly higher price than online sales, but given that I didn't feel like waiting for shipping or searching multiple local stores I just bought the part from them.

Description of Work: I bought a very nice range from Rochester Appliance saving $300 from the Lowe's sale price on same. When I told them I needed it converted to propane they offered to do it for free! It was ready when when they said it would be ready and they helped load it into my vehicle.

Description of Work: Came to look at washing machine , corrected water lines for hot/cold water. |Ben was professional and respectful. He made sure everything was in working order before he left for his next job. I would recommend Rochester Appliance to a friend.

Description of Work: They repaired my microwave. It took them a while to get the part in which I cannot tell whether it was their problem or the maker of the microwave. It occured right around July 4 so that probably did not help. They were very polite, on time, and reasonably priced.

Description of Work: They tried to repair my old kitchen range and when it could not be repaired, they helped me to obtain a replacement. There were many glitches, due to a too small opening for the slide-in range. They didn't give up, returning 3 times with the new stove, until it finally, after I was able to find someone to cut the opening just a small amount, the range has been installed. This team was so helpful and supportive. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

Description of Work: For $20 they ran a diagnostic test on the dryer I brought to them. The problem turned out to be the electrical outlet at our house, not the dryer. I also bought a refurbished deep freezer that day so they waived the $20 diagnostic fee for me!

Description of Work: Service did not show up for the first appointment, called to correct and found out that there was a glitch in their system. They apologized and the next day the repairman was promptly at me door. The quote for repairing the oven ended up being very close to the cost of a refurbed stove. So, I went with the refurbed from Roch Appliance. Very happy with the new appliance and feel safe.

His attitude was friendly while still businesslike. I will definitely call this company for repair work, and when I want to buy a new machine - new or used - I'll definitely seek out Rochester Appliance. I'm really happy that I just happened to find them on one of my errand runs. It feels great to have this good repair company at my finger tips!
Description of Work: Frigidaire Dishwasher repair: This 15 year old machine was off balance from missing feet, and the door was "disordered" and noisy both opening and closing.

Description of Work: Our washing machine was leaking from the bottom after a load of clothes went through a cycle. It was the hose that needed replacement. The hose was a special order and took a few days to come in (over the weekend).

+ -1 moreI sent an e-mail on Monday November 15th at approximately 5:00pm and Dean called me a few minutes later, I was very pleased by the responsiveness. The parts needed to be ordered and would be in on Thursday afternoon. Sure enough, we got a call on Thursday afternoon that the technician would be there by 8:00am on Friday November 18th. The young man that came to do the work was very pleasant, very patient, and did an outstanding job. Replacing seals is not an easy thing to do and he took his time, going the extra mile to be sure that everything was installed as required. He even advised us to give the doors a little help to close in the beginning so that the seals would seat properly. Overall we were very pleased with the excellent service from Rochester Appliance!
Description of Work: The door seals needed to be replaced on our 10 year old Kenmore refrigerator and freezer.

+ -1 moreA nice young man name Ben came out to our home for a leaking refrigerator problem, and discovered we had a plugged-up drain inside the freezer side of our side-by-side refrigerator. Ben was very mannerable and refreshing young person to talk with as he performed the cleaning and removing of the built-up ice in the drain. Ben cleared away the ice, then also opened up the back of the refrigerator and discovered the drain was plugged up. He solved the ice leaking problem quickly. I'm so glad we decided to get on Angies list because this saved us a lot of money. I want to Thank Dean of Rochester Appliance for his quick, efficient services and sending Ben who knew just what to do. Excellent, Excellent, work and serivices. Thanks all.
Description of Work: I Rate Dean's business, Rochester Appliance with a highly (E=Excellent) efficient rating. Our Refrigerator had a water leak and all we could think of was that we had to spend or buy another refrigerator as we are on fixed income. Dean sent Ben a nice young man out who knew right away what the problem was and told us the problem was a plugged up drain inside the refrigerator. This saved us from having to buy a brand new refrigerator and spending money we didn't have at the time. Rochester Appliance gets all A's from our experience with them, plus they are nice people.

+ -1 moreDean came out to fix our washing machine. the motor had died. since we had a 1 month old at the time, he put us on his top priority list. once he figured out the problem, he helped us weigh our options, and we decided to get a refurbished part. he came back the next day and installed it. The part didn't work properly that evening, and Dean came out with a new one and replaced it with no extra cost to us. Great job. I'd have already highly recommended him for two other customers, who where more then satisfied with his service!
