OUKES LANDSCAPING

DO NOT USE this company - they are A NIGHTMARE to work with for so many reasons!! I wouldn't recommend them for anything; they treat their customers miserably, are hostile and abusive when you ask them anything, or question something that they have done improperly, they misplace records, don't remember that you're a paying customer, don't remember what you paid, and I was told personally by one of the owners that they work on "hand shake deals" - when I told him I don't work like that he laughed - and then didn't remember how much I paid or that I NEVER signed a contract but he cashed my check anyway!! The list goes on and on and on with this company and the reasons are numerous! They engage in unlawful business practices and should be shut down. I have already reported them to the BBB and plan to post on all social media to warn others so that others don't have to endure the mistreatment and abuse that I endured from them!

Meh. I've experienced better. Extremely slow communication, only want to communicate by phone and in-person, take checks only. First job completed by them was OK -- most recent job completed by them was sloppy, and included 7 days of radio-silence, from the request for a contract once we'd agreed on prices & the scope of work, and *any* communication from anyone. If the landscape-designer who works all quotes and contract-negotiations was going to go off the grid for 7 days, don't you think the company-owners would reach out to the clients and let the clients know?!?!? We had started contacting other landscaping companies for bids, and all of a sudden the designer called-up as if nothing was wrong! If the prices hadn't been reasonable, we wouldn't have gone through with it. But, in the end, the work was as sloppy as the communication. We won't use them again.
