We had a bad experience with the installer. When we scheduled the installation, we asked Messner to send an installer that would wear a mask. When our installer arrived, I politely asked him to wear a mask when he was in my home. My wife and I are high risk for COVID, and we wore masks when he was in our home. The installer refused to wear a mask, and he wasn’t very nice about it. This installer also did quite a bit of damage to our walls during installation and to our furniture that he moved. When I brought this to Messner’s attention, their general manager came to our home and repaired some of the damage, but not all of it. He promised to come back and finish repairing the damage, but we never heard from him again. I suggest you go somewhere else for your carpet if you are looking for polite and professional installation services.

This went well. Messner has three service locations. We used the Pittsford branch. Two days after we requested an estimate, the vendor promptly appeared to measure. My brother selected the replacement flooring in the showroom. Installation occurred in two phases: first, the front entrance, downstairs half bath, and kitchen (same design pattern); then, the den (a different pattern). Each day, the installers arrived around 8:15 AM and worked without break until between 1:30 and 2 PM. They encountered no issues. The results are beautiful! The one issue we encountered: the vendor doesn't remove the construction debris. We contracted for a dumpster ($500) to accommodate that.

Very pleased with the service and quality of the product. We replaced carpet in our living room, bedroom and stairs. Tile was also replaced around the fireplace. The installation went very smoothly and we are thrilled with the way the house looks.

I went from dark, outdated kitchen and bath small floor tiles, many with cracks and noticeable grout that needed filling over to Messner installing high quality flooring. They run a very professional operation, each touch point person is friendly, non "salesy" and takes pride in their work and area of expertise from 1st phone consult with the associate Andrew, to the options presented, showroom and estimate with Shawn, to the final high quality and precision install with attention to all the project details and daily clean up with their installer Jason and his team.
